I am traveling to Niagara Falls this week. Can I still play Bakery/Restaurant Story using my Android cell phone?? Or will I be charged roaming/international fees? Thanks for your help.

Well.. you MUST be online to play the games, if that's what you're asking. Data charges depend on your mobile provider.

When I went out of country earlier this year my mobile provider said my Android phone wouldn't work unless I approved them to turn on international data/calls (they would set that for free) and that international roaming charges would apply. I can't remember what the rates were but it was not cheap; I chose to not play If you have email going to your phone my provider charged for all incoming data even if you don't open or read the emails.

I started by reading the international charging page on their website, but called customer support for clarification. Most providers will have similar and competitive plans. Check with them.

Use your wi-fi connection, not your network connection. I used mine for two weeks with no extra charge, but when I turn on my network & used my phone, I got charged international roaming. Very expensive :( Good luck & have fun!

Yeah, the wi-fi would work. I spent most of my time on a cruise ship and we were limited to what they offered and they charged a lot for everything. My post was for the days we were at a port where international vs cruise ship charges applied.

Most hotels in niagara falls have free wifi in their rooms, as well as some eateries. As others have said, better to use wifi rather than data charges. Check with your provider if you're coming from USA as AT&T has associations with Bell Canada, or they did. You may luck out on a short term deal. Welcome to Canada! Enjoy your stay. Be sure, if you're over 19, to check out the Casino. If you're here July 1st, that's Canada day. They'll do an awesome firework display, and usually a lightshow on the falls at night.

Essentially, you'll need an Internet connection. TL don't provide that connection, they just need it for their games to work. You really need to discuss this with wherever you're going's person-in-charge. Enjoy your time:D
