My 8 year old was forced to download farm story to get pop up to disappear from city story. This is inappropriate.

It was probably an offer for city cash if he downloaded. Many online games do this to give players an incentive to try out new games. You just have to teach him to opt cancel, or ignore and it will go away. His loss tho as he will miss out an easy way of earning city cash or farm gems. This occurs with most storm 8 games as well as the we rule, god finger, we farm and many others. The majority of players have requested and expect these special offers so they are not going away any time soon.

Personally I fail to see how it's inappropriate as the game has no objectionable content. Some that do this do, like the network mafia wars is on. Ultimately if you allow your kid to play social online games this is part of it and no way to get away from it. Thankfully in my opinion because I'm one that downloads then deletes just to get the bonus. Just supervise them as some wall posts by older users can be rude. Also no way to avoid when playing online social games because some ppl are just nasty with no regard that jr players may oversee their cheap thrill time. That's more what u should worry about and monitor. My kid only plays city when I'm right there with her so I can shut it down first sign of trolls.

Really Parent?!? Really, It's a FREE GAME. expect a little ad here and there. I'm frankly surprised it isn't chock full of advertisements to purchase this or that. Educate your child. Supervise them as well. Lucky your little darling didn't download PornoStory.

I agree with unregistered's comment. Very wise to supervise your children (I don't have any by the way... hence a stress free home!) as there are so many nutters and idiots on these social games sites, whose only purpose in life seems to be to try and annoy people and make mindless comments on other people's walls.
As for bonus points etc, I also do what unregistered suggests. Download the advertised game, open it, close it, check to see I've been awarded the bonus and then delete the game (unless it's actually worth playing!).

Have you opened the app? You need to do that, then when you open CS again you should find your cash has been added.
