I've been robbed and kidnapped!!! Cash register and cashier both missing!

Hey, my cash register and my cashier are both gone. Customers come to the door and then disappear. My hearts are way low so I put something in front of the door to keep my hearts that I still have. Where did my cash register go??? I didn't buy a new one or anything, just went to play and they were gone! Please help:(
What would happen if I uninstalled the app and got it again? Would I be starting over??

From another thread, I have looked at everyone's bakery and they all have the register and some have 2 now because they bought another register. Since GM isn't on the forums right now, keep the shop closed and wait until they come to reply. Just don't waste 40,000 coins to buy another register when once the bug gets fixed you'll have 2.
