I recently was able to construct my first building - the tool shed - but was dissapointed that with the effort involved it didn't give anything more than the usual XP once it was finished. I think it would get people to buy gems and be more active in the community if the constructable buildings were perhaps a bit harder to make but had some kind of bonus attached to them. Nothing very major, just something small, like:
Tool Shed: other constructables cost 1 less of each component, or a 5% reduction in price of appearance items
Covered Well: +1 or +2 water for visitors
Silo: Grain crops provide +5% coins
Just a thought that I think might make those items more useful and fun.
