I think that we should be able to help our neighbors when their crops wither simply by watering them. What do you think?

So save your fertilizer for your own farm, and let them use their fertilizer on theirs

I know but each day you get given free fetiliser only for your neighbours

Sorry about that. I was.referring to the fertilizer you buy with gems to rescue whithered crops, and then I think redbites was suggesting we be able to gift fertilizer for free.
