Bull does not earn XP where it should!

I got a bull for a lot of gems. The idea was to earn 60 XP every 20 hrs, because that is what is says so in the store... 60 XP and 32 coins.
I noticed that I now only get the 32 points and NO XP,s ????.
Why not? What did I do wrong here..?

From the Farm Story FAQ under the question "What's the difference between crops, flowers, trees, and animals?"


All three give XP when placed on your farm, but trees also give XP every time you collect from them along with coins. Crops, flowers, and animals only give coins when you collect.
