items aren't selling for what they're listed to sell as;
everything customers buy only gives me 2 coins..

What do you mean by "what they're listed to sell as"? If you mean the price listed in the catalog, that refers to the profits for selling the entire lot, not a single clothing item. Individual clothing items sell for 2, 5, or 10 coins based on what the item is.
