That's because you don't have the right cooking appliances. There are 3 types. The next time when you purchase, don't just purchase the normal one. Scroll along and you'll fine oven & grill.

Pizza is baked in the oven, and BBQ chicken and hamburgers are cooked on the grill.

If you're already at the maximum amount of appliances and all you've got are stoves, you can simply put a few of your stoves in storage, and you'll be able to buy ovens and grills.
