Does anyone have a show pony?

If so, please will you explain how it works that they give 15 gems a week? ???.. Do they give 15 gems at the same time? Or do they give random amounts each day until 15 gems are given in a week.

You collect from them once a week.
They walk around for a week.
You get 15 gems at the Collection time like a pet you collect from.
But pets you collect every four hours.
Show ponies are once a week.
