Cannot get back into game after new cruise has started

Hello,

I was in the game when I noticed a new cruise event had started.

I closed the game but when I tried to reload the game it would not load.

It just comes up with the this game requires internet message.

Anyone else having this problem? I hope this is fixed soon as I enjoy playing this game.
