Guessing the "skip 16" for the tuna melts is supposed to be much higher. tried using it with 39 gems and got the message I don't have enough gems

I checked back to see if the Powers That Be took the opportunity to reflect on the reactions to and feedback about last week's challenge. Looks like they might be prioritizing folks spending gems (or cash to purchase gems) over providing a fun experience for all.

It's a business and I guess they've got to keep the lights on, I wish them luck.

So another side goal with unrealistic amounts of time consuming recipes ,definitely not fun ! Too bad they are making things so difficult in a game that used to be a lot of fun for me . I’ve been playing for 10 yrs and it sure has changed and not for the good ,so sad !

In my opinion, 5 day mini goal requirements are based on default 18 appliances. The goals these days are meant to be played by the upper levels only. You know the players in lower levels are not easy to finish the main goal. So please consider the players in low levels too.

I?ve played for about a year and a half now. I?ve watched videos for the 10 gems a day and used them mostly for adding new oven slots and expanding my area. I used a glitch last winter with buying some sort of Mardi Gras thing for free and getting xp from them and selling them back and buying more. I got to level 99 from level like 70 or something ? I felt so stupid just buying and selling those things for hours. The game shouldn?t be such that you feel you have to be level 99 to play but that?s what it feels like. So I took advantage last winter

I am still hopeful based on Step 1 and 2 that Storm 8 did listen to our feedback on 5 day goals. Yes, Step 1 had long cooks, but only requires 11 appliance spots to complete in the 2 days it takes Lemon Lime to cook. This means it is possible for lower level players and those doing the 14 day goal without extra appliance spots, and they are using different appliances like we asked.
Step 2 is designed to be done in one day, so as long as Step 3 and 4 can be done in one day each the goal will be able to be completed in the 5 day time limit without spending money, by low level players and those doing 14 day goal. It just can not be completed super early by those of us who worked ahead and finished in 2 days instead of 5.
Still need to see Steps 3 and 4 but for now I am hopeful Storm 8 heard and responded, and am optimistically grateful.

I've loved these story games for 15 years now. But due to how hard some goals have become it made me stop playing for a few years. I've come back and it's still the same, but unfortunately I'm so dedicated due to the amount of money I've spent in 15 years. I'm almost ready to give up on the goals, but then I lose neighbors. Just hope they start thinking about us players and not just about money.

Other Storm8 games may have been released earlier but Restaurant Story was originally released on iOS October 14, 2010 and Bakery was in November 12, 2010 while the droid versions of the app were released in December of that year.

I can look around and try to find the links for the original release threads/announcements if anyone is interested. Sometimes it seems I have more fun archiving the games' releases than I do actually playing the games, lol.

What do you spend your earned gems on then, cutsey art that does nothing? I have played for years as well and pretty much spend all gems on extra slots which allow these challenges to be doable. Last week's challenge was the most fun I have had with this game in a while since it actually required some planning. Not everything should be a "gimmie" and new players should face the same grind everyone else did. Otherwise they should stick to the instant gratification match games.

I am newer player in Bakery Story and I don't do the challenges right now because I know I can't. I still grind out the recipes I can do though because that is how you build yourself up to be one of the 50 appliance players.
