Dear all, I don't have time to clear out this thread and move all the posts about the various bugs and issues to the right forum (as I've previously asked players to do multiple times), so if you have an issue that has not already been reported, please do so in this thread: https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?115816-Here-Comes-the-Sunflower-event-issues

I've merged all the bugs threads together into a central place and renamed the thread.

To best utilise what time I have during my working day to be on the forum, I will only add information on new issues that are reported in the linked Bugs thread into my report to S8 and so I would ask that you post in the right place and monitor that thread for updates. Its been over 6 hours, when will the bug be fixed? Considering that every previous event worked using the skinned Workshops, its completely unacceptable that the programmers messed this up. Not to mention that if there was a QA on this event, how did they not test each type of workshop?

Madness. Is Ivy's cottage dropping the Picnic Meal for those of us with useless workshops? I might wait a bit to see if they fix it and just gather sunflower materials... though if Picnic Meal isn't dropping, does seem we are at risk of not finishing the event.

I hate the look of the ugly original workshops and was so glad to change it. Why should we have to spend resources on this and get a building we don't want? Does anyone know if we can still re-skin ugly regular workshops into Gothic Workshops? I don't even remember how I did it originally, and don't want to lose it. I think it was an event, but maybe like a Builder's Guild as for the Toadstool Cottages? Oh, who knows.

I didn't even know until I checked the forum that the source of the problem is the workshop skin.

If you are waiting on the workshop fix: wicked stepmothers do spawn from the pond at that stage, so you can gather some stolen seeds to stock up for castle adventures which HOPEFULLY will drop the Ivy's cottage drop so we can still finish! It's 10 hits, and she dropped 5 sunflower boquets as well as one stolen seeds packet. I also seem to have spawned one from a dragon, I think.

Aspens aren't dropping event items yet at this stage, though. SMH.

The workshop skin issue was what was fixed. Can you please force close your game and check again.

Force close: double click home screen, swipe up and off the screen the thumbnail pics. This clears the app from device memory.

Anyone else having problems with drops from the sparkling mines? I know they don?t drop every time but I?ve been through two cycles of waiting with zero picnic silverware drops which seems highly unusual - 8 hours wasted!

I'm not getting the day 2 goals for the Faerie Chests. I started the event just after 11:00 am Pacific yesterday, so the day 2 goals should have shown up by now.

I completed my first goal yesterday at 2:30 so there is definitely something wrong,

Yesterday I had an issue: all 3 faerie goals at the start. After completing the first one (chop rocks), I only had the monster goal remaining. The animal goal had disappeared hi did not clear the goal and only received 2 chests yesterday).

I am having the same issue. I checked the form to see if there was A any one else having this issue and B if there has been a fix. The latter has not been addressed so hopefully this will be fix. Without chest no way to complete end goal without gems

I have to agree. The Madam whatshername event is just awful. I see no good reason for it. I wish we could turn it off. It makes playing Friday-Sunday just miserable.

My Faerie Atrium goals haven't reset for the day. It is now after midnight where I am.

I'm having a hard time spawning Wicked Stepmothers to battle.

I agree, from my experience and what I have seen posted in the forum, this event is pretty glitchy.

Fantasy Forest Story is also very glitchy right now. Not sure what is going on at headquarters.

Well if we go from Monday with the fix, I am not sur we will finish unless the random generator is very generous. I seldom have enough to craft all 3 decoration before the Monday crates, leaving 2 days spare.

Because of the need to use nuggets i'm not able to let the adventures go out often thos time : i need them to make gems because i have no other way to get gems because you have put a limit on adventures to recieve them ! at the lower right of the text it says, "reply with quote" you can edit the post, it's optional to give a reason, just delete everything when you edit. You can probably direct message SpiritWind if you need a post deleted also

Luckily, this problem won't affect your ability to complete the event.
1. Report the problem in the bug post
2. Submit a ticket to S8
3. Continue to craft the items (you need 13 of each).

You can still get enough bouquets from the building. I hardly collect from the event building until I reach level 5, which will be Weds morning for me.

Actually this is one of the easiest formats. It just takes patience waiting for the sparkling mine drops and Ivy. When or if the Adventure drops improve that could also save you some time.
I've already crafted all my blankets. ( the 30 minute craft).
Hopefully the glitches will be a quick fix.

It's always been three daily faery chests as far back as I can remember. However, the first time you do it for each event, you get one extra chest for meeting a goal. So four the first day then three every day thereafter.

The picnic meal is a rare drop from the adventure but I received one. I also did get the horse (I rarely get the adventure prize).

Thank you so much everyone! I got behind by one Ivy's collection and as soon as that glitch hit me, I was zoomin' to the message board. Even if it's glitchy as all get out (how many times must you reset on me, server?), I can always rely on and appreciate all the help on this forum. It's unfortunately that many of us are hit with this bug, but it's great that we can keep on playing and help each other out! congrats to those who got the horse, btw. :D

LOL i got back, restarted etc, had to wait a bit more then suddenly a rollback and reappearance of the event crafts. Now waiting for a rollback on my other account where the crafts have disappeared too?

It fluctuates which is (unfortunately) normal. It helps if you chop a bunch at a time if you have the energy for it.

I wouldn't say that. You put in a ticket right away, they can see what did or did not drop at a certain time. I would guess it would be difficult if someone didn't put in a ticket immediately, without a time stamp it's hard if not impossible to try to figure out when things occur.

I just got my goals and checked inventory after each goal and I received all 3. Check your goal book again as I had more screens pop up yesterday when I hadn't actually completed the goal. If you have an issue, please post in the bugs thread where it will be seen by S8. If it's individual bug, then you'll need to log a ticket.

I think with the new Madam Makeda, and the new mini Beast Master/Realm Master events, we will once again have to go through a period of glitches until all the different codes work together. It's not "the same code", it's code that now has to deal with the new weekend stuff.

I am willing to bet S8 has its share of issues as most every other business has the past few years, and think they are doing a good job. With the large number of games the staff has to deal with, it's not like their "to do" list ever gets shorter. Apple also has been upgrading their software a lot compared to previous years, and yet S8 seem to do a good job of keeping up with any game changes. And we are still seeing magnificent artwork that takes time to craft! Surely obtaining crafts with the beautiful art is worth some annoyance.

I agree the glitches are annoying. Lately I try to reconcile it as being more like "real life", where unlike a perfect computer game, real life always throws curveballs. So I try to stay patient & think of this game as more of a "real live Queendom" hahaha! And even Real Live computer tasks (paying bills, voice or text messages) glitch. I am slowly coming around to the thought "if it works without any glitches at all, that would be amazing" instead of a given.

May very well be. It?s pretty normal for them to open a ?Beast Master? and ?Goblin Slayer? mini event half way a mayor event (and I hate it with my soul but oh well?) but because we have the fairy hunting thing going on too it?s probably messing up everything.

BTW, I just open the game and got 5 chests, go to the goals list and you?ll see it if you haven?t.

I’m inclined to agree with you, Sofia and Cabrera. There are multiple Kingdom Goals all active at the same time and most likely causing our hiccups. I’m know that S8 has been working them out and tonights collection of Ivy’s Hut and one more round of Faerie Chests should have me completed.
