General Expanding Notes:
* You can expand using gems or coins
* You must purchase expansions, in order and one at a time.
EXAMPLE:

* You cannot expand from 7x9 to 9x12 regardless of which payment method you're employing
* First, you have to purchase the 8x10 expansion before moving on to purchase the 9x12
* At any time you can tap on the arrows around your board to access expansions

* Tapping the arrows will give you a pop up that shows you the next expansion available and list the two options for purchase
* If you tap 'Buy' on one of those options, the game will automatically deduct the currency from your game and expand your bakery
* When purchasing expansions with gems, the neighbor requirements are usually negated and the level requirements are lowered
* How it works using coins:

* Expansions in Market will be greyed out until you've advanced to the level required to access an expansion
* Once you've met the level requirement, the expansion will unlock in the market and now list the amount of neighbors you need
* After meeting the neighbor requirement, the expansion in the market will now list how many coins it costs to purchase said expansion
* Once you've met all the requirements, tapping on the expansion in the Market will automatically deduct the coins from your bank and enlarge your bakery

Per Pixie's request, the U-sale repeats that I know of are the woodland deer family, wildflower bees, succulent bear, petal pourer, princess carriage, gelato menu.

I feel like I have seen the green river, succulent display, treasure island and sprinkle pool as U items as well. Possibly even the Poseidon fountain. If anyone else can confirm any of the ones I am unsure of, please do so.

It's an ok sale but not thrilling. I just wish the NEW U items outweighed the old and reused ones.

And, while I was flipping through my files from past sales I noticed several other U-decos that have been repeated multiple times - it seems this is more of a trend then I realized. It's wild because there are SO MANY past goals for them to choose from that you would think they shouldn't have to repeat so often. Or am I thinking about this wrong?

I like them repeating offers for those who may have missed them, I don't want there to be any confusion on that front. However, I feel like the numbers should skew more the other way: offer more new items than repeats in these larger sales. Even if the repeats are discounted like the Echo appliances are, they could've put in a few more new ones as well.

While I'm on the subject of Echo appliances, why did they raise the price of the new ones back up to 25 gems? For the past few weeks the new Echo appliances have been listed at 16 gems in the weekly sales so I don't get that move either. :confused:

I totally agree. I appreciate all the new items, but so many are repeats as you stated. There is so much that I need and they shouldn't keep repeating. The appliances have been offered several times recently. If I didn't get then, why would I now? They really need to keep track of what they put for sale and not repeat for several years. I took a 3 year break from the game and have been back 3 years and I appreciate all the items I have gotten. But to keep repeating items over and over when there are so many things needed is silly. I wish I could work for them as an admin asst and help them keep track of all this and schedule items for sale. Kinda silly to have St Patricks items and so forth. This is a SUMMER sale. The time for the other seasons and holidays was during that specific time. Sometimes I just wonder about them lol.

WOW. So all the ones I had an inkling were, are actually repeats?! There have been other sales where I've thought "hey, didn't I see this on sale recently?" and shrugged it off thinking I was likely mistaken. Now I'm thinking those really were repeats too. It's just disappointing because of how many suggestions there are in the threads that I haven't seen posted for sale at all and some where it's been a handful of years. Then these repeats all pop up again in less than 2 years time, some even less than a year.

As a new player who did want these woodland items, im glad they're available to buy for this sale. But I do agree that i wish it was more summer themed, as it's a summer sale, and many of these items seem random. I was hoping to get more beach or sea themed items.

The Echo appliances are meant to be coded as unique appliances as are their recipes. It's rare that it happens, but it's not unheard of where the Echo recipes were showing as already mastered. However, those were fixed soon after being reported in the Bugs Forum so I think it should be safe to buy any you're interested in.

So, first and foremost: this warrants a discussion away from this thread (don't want to derail the topic of the sale), including input on (A) whether people appreciate the repeated listings, and/or (B) if people would like to see a new selection of Echo appliances every time, or most of the time, or seasonally, etc.

Secondly, many people have already done this, but if you have not yet: please post in the 'What Classic Items Would You Like to See Return? (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?114912-What-Classic-Items-Would-You-Like-to-See-Return)' thread with specific requests for items and appliances. It looks like quite a few of the items in that thread made their way into this and previous sales, but this would be a nice reference for the team for upcoming seasons/holidays as well (especially autumn, Halloween, and eventually winter holidays).

If you have specific Echo Appliances you would like to see that have not been debuted yet, this is the thread to request them!

Thirdly: I will ask about the Echo Appliance price increase - thank you for bringing this to attention!

p.s. 70 Gems for a sale item is quite the price tag, can the team consider lowering a supposedly "sale item" price tag, that is way too steep for any sale items..

I was initially disappointed with the offerings, but with this new batch, wow! There are some items here I have quite literally never seen before and I?ve been playing on and off since 2015. I can check to ask. The general rule of thumb is if they were available before the sale, they'll be available after the sale. If they had been unavailable prior to the sale, they will likely be leaving the market again.

The doors were released in a sale last year and were only available for purchase during that time.

Pink Starry and Sweet Sundae wallpapers were regular market purchases that were available for years but were later removed.
