I like the stand and the idea of the cookies - all the Frankenstein themed items will go well with various Halloween recipes from over the years. But....

That said, something about the cookies themselves sits wrong with me, they're almost jarring when my eye catches them in my bakery. I feel like they almost look too realistic; I mean, they don't look lifelike or anything but compared to all the other recipes, they seem to be trying to portray a different artistic style. Not sure if that makes sense but I don't know how else to explain it.

This is low-key sad cause it was an og recipe of the Candy oven. Why didn't they just use a basic oven recipe to begin with?🤦🏽*♀️ I hope they put the recipe back after the goal is finished.

Also, I had to buy another oven. 100,000 coins wasted since I won't need any of the ovens. I can't imagine how frustrating this must've been for players who bought MORE Candy ovens.

I accidentally put out the basic oven and the candy corn muffins is now on it. When I served the first muffins from the candy oven from yesterday, the candy corn muffin recipes is now gone. They switched it to the basic oven. The ones I started yesterday did count.

Mine were in the candy oven. I cooked 8 and now I need them for the next goal and they have disappeared from the oven so I have no way to continue. Has this happened to anybody else?

I like how they included one of the actual Halloween goal recipes (Ghost Meringue) in the display but I also saw they included what looks to be the Rhubarb Galette. That was from a non-Halloween goal. Would’ve been nice to keep the theme of all Halloween recipes.

They raised most of the purchasing requirements last month when they added the bonus goal to the end of the main goal. Even though we only get back a fraction of the original cost, I sell the extra wall decos but that's mostly because I don't like having an odd number of items, lol.

And as for coins - the goals are so expensive that my bakery would go under within a week if I didn't keep serving up the older recipes that pay more per serving. I try to always keep a handful of ovens/drink mixers out to make the $10 per serving recipes and that seems to help supplement the cost of goals.

Since the only new content we get is through goals, it would be really great if they could raise the servings of recipes or coins per serving so the goals didn't cost so much.

Is this the first time we have been buying 6 chairs instead of four? It seems like they keep making us buy more things than usual. Before the wall decoration was buy two now I think it?s buy three. I don?t even use all these extra decorations and this game you can?t save money on this. Recipes are real expensive especially when you do all the goals. It must be real hard for low level players. Frustrating and this game crash a lot.

No, it's been like that for the last goal or two. Several of the Have or Buy requirements have been creeping up lately. I don't really mind the chairs, I usually get 6 of both anyway. It's odd to have different amounts (4/6) and claim they go together, it kinda pushes you to get 6 of the tables.

The tiles have gone up to 14. Again, I don't really mind, but it is more than it used to be.

The wall decorations have gone up from two to three. Traditionally, these go on each side of a door. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with a third one.

Part 7, the one where you're doing the 7 hour recipes on the 2nd oven usually includes a smaller floor decoration, often a person/character. I really like these, you can decorate with characters to give your Bakery a 'story'. Sometimes it's something I do want a couple of. But sometimes I have no idea why you would want or need two of these.

Part 9, where you're finishing up the 10 hour recipes on the 2nd oven usually offer a slightly larger floor decoration, themed to go with the final goal prize. The requirement for this has also gone up from one to two. These are seldom something I would normally want more than one of. These are usually 3 x 3 and take up a lot of room to put two out at a time. Especially now that I have so many counters with food on them from all the overlapping goals.

Individually, none of these increases are really that bad, but all of them is a trend I'm not fond of. I don't see that they add anything to the goal to make it more fun, challenging, or even interesting. (Unless you count the challenge to find space to buy 2 3x3 floor decorations.) Instead it's building resentment. If I'm just going to click buy and spend coins, I might as well just spend gems to skip right to the end. That's no fun.

The newer recipes are more expensive, fortunately you don't get many servings from them. For short term cash, I try to spread out 10 coin food on several counters. Until I mess up and consolidate them all. I was really glad to see the Candy Corn Muffins! Those have a food cost around 23%, and you get a ton of them! Current recipes are usually around 60% food cost and none of them even offer 1000 servings. That makes it really hard to make money! For longer term profitability, I usually overbake more profitable recipes like this (I already had a counter full of Candy Corn Muffins!) and hope that one day they'll sell.

Aside from the useless increases to the decorations, I really like a lot of the new content coming out! People have been asking for more drinks/drink machines and we've gotten some nice ones! The food displays and presentations are nicer, we haven't had flat trays in a while.

I understand, even expect, that things change over time. I just want to see changes that are meaningful and make the game more fun, challenging, or interesting.

I finished the goal with 7 hours to spare and was never given the option to buy the extra ending stove? I looked at the old post about the cake appearing in a 2020 goal and that it used the Old Fashioned Stove. I looked into my stoves and I don't have it? I thought maybe that was why I wasn't given the option to buy it?

Are you referring to the Bonus Goal?

If so, the Coffee Cream Cake recipe is recycled from an old Restaurant Story goal in 2020, it's new to BS and will be found on the Loretta's Oven gained through the Bonus Goal titled Complete Mad Lab Makeover.

This bonus goal will activate once you've received the final goal prize in the main goal. It's a separate goal in your book titled Complete Mad Lab Makeover - the full details and explanations are in the first post on how the goals activate and what is required to unlock the bonus recipe.

The second task in the bonus goal is to purchase the Loretta's Oven but if you participated in one of the last bonus goals, this will autocomplete which it appears to have done in your case.

This also means you should have the Coffee Cream Cake recipe unlocked at this point already. I can see how it's confusing with the auto-completion skipping over info but on the upside, the only thing you'll miss by not serving the Coffee Cream Cake 10 times is some coins and xps, there's no other prize.

Sadly, I can't change the game set up but I can offer the advice that for future goals, make sure you read the first post where I try to list all of these details.

I didn't manage to finish the goal (yet again) and I got a "complete this goal" for gems option on the goal and I pressed yes and it didn't work and then just disappeared?? I want to purchase the goal item like the option said. How do I get it back??
