Dang I was expecting this & started the Espresso because I don't have time at night to finish them. I just served them an hour or so ago. I'll start over in the morning. Might as well get some Lattes brewing!

I always remember the Motherly oven being pretty mediocre, too. Maybe we'll get some good recipes for it finally!

I was kind of thrown off because it looks winter themed. Like some kind of ice sculpture?

If it’s the picture, it’s called CRYSTAL DIAS.

I hope it’s something else. I’ll be going after the recipes.

Thanks to mamimari & WILDFLOWER for help with the goals!
(I'm still not sure why this thread got the sticky instead of shortdanzr's)

Here are some of my notes for this goal. I have insanely too many ovens and this is how I play/what I'm thinking:

I always over bake Lattes, they're 41% food cost and the 10 coins/serving help cash flow.
I overbaked a few Sticky Cakes, they're just under 50% food cost, which is pretty good lately.
Same with the Cappucino, 50% food cost & 10 coins for cash flow.
Cronuts are one of my favorite recipes to overbake! Approx. 28% food cost means for every 4 coins I earn per serving only cost me a little over 1 coin to bake.
(Hot Chocolate is ~23%, but you get so few servings in each batch it takes for ever to build up many)

Assuming I can ever clear them off my counters. Food cost is a longer term strategy.

But it helps to balance out some of the 60% cost of the new recipes. Each 4 coin serving of Chocolate Chip Blonde costs me 2 1/2 coins to make.

Brown, brown, BROWN. They could have added some different color sprinkles or frosting or something, ANYTHING with color. Is it a cost per color pixel thing? Or just lazy rushed design because the Main Goal Recipes are so awesome?

Not doing this goal, but I'm curious to know why they named the food Blondie. There's nothing... blonde about it. It looks like a burnt brownie. Even the prize isn't blonde. If Elsa was in it, I'd understand - but she ain't. So, WHAT'S BLONDE

I typed it into Google and blondie is a brownie type of cake, but made with white chocolate instead of dark.

I typed it into Google and blondie is a brownie type of cake, but made with white chocolate instead of dark.

"Brownies" were created by Fannie Farmer, a pioneer of American cooking. The originals were what we now call "blondies". They were made with molasses and had more of a butterscotch colour and flavour due to the molasses. Now many use brown sugar. Later, Fannie added melted chocolate and the originals were called "blonde brownies" and eventually just "blondies". The originals did not have any type of chocolate as chocolate was not commonly used at the time. Some people add white chocolate chips but more often nuts as was sometimes done originally. I love blondies. I think more than brownies. The colour is a golden blonde, not a yellow blonde. More the colour that many blondes have as their hair darkens a bit as they hit their teenage years.
