I'm tired of the St Patricks theme every year over and over again.
It's not something we celebrate in our country (and I think almost every country). It would be nice if they come up with something else.

St. Paddy's Day is a big deal in Ireland, of course, parts of the UK, and way big deal in the USA. And other countries celebrate it, too. Sorry your country doesn't celebrate it, maybe you could have a Paddy's Day party with some friends next year. You might like it!

Why would I do that?
As I read there are just a few country's celebrating St Patricksday. Maybe 5 of 6.
Me (and a lot of others) don't care for it. It's like celebrating ramadan when youre christian.
And I don't mind a st paddy goal once in a few years, but it's every year, on BS and RS. I just don't like it. And I hate the colour green

Please keep it civil in the thread folks :)

I'll forward the feedback about the St. Patrick's Day theme. For what it's worth though, none of the new items necessarily have to be used in a St. Patrick's Day themed design if you choose to use them afterward. I've used goal prizes/recipes in my Bakery in completely different themes than the one they debuted with (for example, maybe featuring the Apple Coffee Cake in a future Autumn Apple Festival design); and others which I opted not to unlock I found myself wishing for later to *just* complete a design :p

Of course, goals are completely optional, so you can choose to skip this one if it's not to your taste.

EDIT: Adding an infographic of the new goal items :)

I like the final goal prize this time! The side goal one isn?t as appealing but I?m happy about the final goal, the gazebo is perfect for spring and summer, love the little flower details on it too!

I have only finished one of these goals since they upped the amounts. I work and am not on my phone 8 hours a day so the 2 hour recipes are impossible for me. Why did they listen to restaurant story and lower the goals and not bakery???

I agree that the prize could be used for times other then St.Patrick’s Day. What I find annoying is the timing. It would have been nice to have a St. Patrick’s Day goal sooner. The goal came out about 12 hours before the Holiday ends. I’m ready to pack up the green and put out colorful spring and Easter stuff.

Agreed. They always reveal goals for holidays too late. Like when they gave us our Christmas goal on new years.

I'm actually glad the team listened to us and reduced the side goal. Last side goal's request was ridiculous to some ppl. I personally didn't have an issue with it, but I understand others may have. Now all they have to do is reduce the main goal requirements. Then EVERYONE would be happy.

I can?t figure out how to add a photo, but the first recipe looks good! A pedestal would be even better, but stacked on a plate is a step up from tiny food on trays. I hope the rest of the recipes look ok.

I can't for the life of me understand why they would put a 15 day goal out for St Patrick's day ON St Patrick's Day? They couldn't have done this in the past few goals? What is the point? I am taking my St Patrick's decor out today? Who decorates AFTER the holiday? The tables are the same as the St Patable with a different color and same chair as Lucky Clover Chair with different color. How about rainbows or leprechaun shaped tables and chairs. The wall decor is ugly. I don't mind the wallpaper though too similar to others. How about a pretty rainbow with leprechauns again? I don't like the counter either.
I am not doing the sidegoal because I would never use that item and already won one from crate. I don't think I want the LTO item either which gives me slow start on the goal.
All in all - this goal ONCE AGAIN is a flop. The recipes are the only thing I like.
Right now Spring and Easter goals and sales should be going on. Come on Storm - get it together!
I completed the last goal with 3 of each oven, so I have no problem finishing goals. The amount of items for side goals are fine. The reason there were so many for the last one is because they were one hour recipes and quick to cook. If you think about it, the previous one was red velvet cakes which were 22 hours. In that time, I can make 22 one hour recipes.
My main issue is the creativity and timing. We want stuff to decorate for Spring and Easter please and in timely fashion. Please do SPRING SALE ASAP! I am going to be decorating for it and want to have the items available. If things don't improve soon, I am going to be done with this game. It keeps going more and more down hill. Why don't they put out items that people want for side goal and LTO? Who would ever ask for either of these? DISAPPOINTED

Very Frustrated playing BS. The requirement of 38 items that take 10 hrs to make is impossible. That takes 380 hrs of baking time. Even having 7 ovens is impossible. And I refuse to pay a huge amount in gems to build ovens and complete baking times. Am thinking of leaving BS until more reasonable challenges.
Just to complete the first level with one or 2 ovens initally is 50 baking hours. LEVEL 2 is 16 x 3 hrs=48 hrs, Level 3 is 20 x 5 =100 hrs, the next oven is 30 x 2 hrs=60, then 30 x7= 210 hrs, and the last is 38 x 10=380 hrs. Total cooking hrs = 848 hrs. There is only 15 days = 360 hrs in total. The 2 hr challenges are impossible to do consectuively especially as often only have 1 or 2 stoves able to use until can get more built. But that brings up the issues of the #of parts needed to build a stove. Why make it so hard. All this does is drive away your faithful players(I have been playing since 2015). I am really disappointed in BS. This will be my last challenge I will do until the challenges become more reasonable.

The presentation of the very first recipe in this goal got my hopes up because it wasn’t flat. I should have known better by now. More out of proportion, tiny, flat, brown food. I think Storm 8 forgot to add baking powder to the apple coffee cake. Looks like it collapsed!

Makes no sense at all. So when we finally get our prize most people are over seeing St. Patty decor.

If you do the math, this side goal takes 560 hours -aka, the exact same amount of time as the last one.

They didn't reduce it at all, just FYI.

Math:

5 x 8 = 40
5 x 16 = 80
7 x 8 = 56
7 x 16 = 112
10 x 8 = 80
12 x 16 = 192

= 560.

They do differing amounts and times, but it's usually right in the realm of 560-600 as it comes to baking hours.

I've started Goal 3: St. Paddy's Day Parfait and when I try to buy Good Luck Ornament I can't place it on the large open area I created for it. I can click on the Ornament to purchase it but it won't allow me to place it on space in my bakery.

Is anyone else having this problem??? How can I get it fixed??

Hi! Good luck Ornament is actually a WALL deco!
Make sure you place it on an empty wall not floor..
let me know if that helps!
if not you can contact s8 and they can help you

Honestly, IMO, the tray is the ugly part. This is the first food of the goal that's actually a decent size and yummy looking. But ofc Storm couldn't let things stay nice. They just had to put white bowls/cups on a dark green and black tray. Great colour combo! Would've been better if the pudding was spoilt. That way it could match the flat cake and burnt brownie in the previous recipes.

There are new players constantly joining. We may have a lot of a certain holiday's decor but they have none. I'm sure I have too much of one or two holidays, but I'm mindful of newer lower level players that also want to get deco.

S8, please please stop with the 38 of 10-hour recipes on the last stove. I'm close to quitting. It's just too much. I've had quite a few neighbors quit.

I have been playing BS since May 2014. It was relaxing and fun. I met some nice people as neighbors over the years.

This recent uptick over the past few months of increasing the amount of parts to obtain to build an oven,
or, to complete a recipe to get the goal is beyond ridiculous.
I have finished and obtained the goal with hours to spare. This is not fun anymore, but a chore.
I know players who set their alarm clocks to play the game and they work.

I have lost many neighbors in droves. They suddenly stop playing, or play once a week, or announce they
are leaving and leave.

In the comments, some people have broken down the amount of time it takes to build an oven, or get the goal.
It's a lot of time invested.

It is too bad "they" upped the goal parts and upped the recipe amounts to obtain the goal.

The concerns from the players since this began has fallen on deaf ears.

I don't know how much longer I will be involved with playing Bakery Story.

My gripe is that the collectibles seem to be given very unevenly...38 of 1 and only like 10 or 5 of the other 3, makes it very hard to complete a build on your own.

I agree! I have not finished one goal in BS but I've never had problems finishing RS. I'm Irish and I'd love to have the goal items for this one but I've just started my 7hr bake. It's completely a waste of my time to even play because, excuse me, 38 10hr bake??!! Are you trying to make people stop playing?? I've already lost 9 neighbors that I couldn't afford to lose because they can't finish the goals either. And the fact that the items to build the ovens are so few and far between means these goals are unattainable. I refuse to spend my actual money to buy gems to get decor.
