But I do like the Seamstress, so I'm trying to decide which prizes to go for.. if they even show up in my Tent that is.. can take a while.

Thankful Gnomes are wonderful of course, but I already have 3 (1 for the original event, and 2 from past Tent prizes)

Oh, yes, the Wild Turkey. I do like him because his drops are the same as a Swan - fertilizer and soft feather in addition to the usual chicken drops of eggs and roast chicken. I find the Feasting Pig and the Raccoon to be cute, but I already had a raccoon from a recent sale, so didn't see the need to get another one.

I don't know if your question was rhetorical or not. Obviously only you can decide what you want in your queendom and how much the Seamstress is worth to you. To me, yes, she is pretty and has nice animation. However, there are so many other items that drop wool and petals, and you can get those items for coins. She is not worth gems to me. I guess you are asking about cabbages, not gems. If there aren't 2 other Baron's Tent prizes that you really want to spend cabbages on, then, no, I would not use up all my cabbages just to get to the Seamstress.

I will keep accumulating cabbages but fear the next tent will be mainly Christmas themed; there’s never been Chanukah themed. I've waited till the last moment, but decided to get the 2 prizes in the 2 final days to get the Seamstress. (bit of a 'in for a penny' issue, I already got 2 prizes only for the challenge before I found out the disappointing drops)
I like the Seamstress, but she wasn't worth me getting 4 prizes I didn't really want :(

I had 1 Thankful Gnomes couple from the original event and 2 from the Tent last year. It's super helpful to go on the better Adventures more often.
In the beginning I saved the spicy and sweet feasts for the beginning of events when I needed all the help I could get. (I don't know if it's true, but I feel like they drop more energy then 'cheaper' adventures)
Now I have enough feast droppers to go on any Adventure I want any day. I love that, higher chance for getting Gems and rare box drop items. :love_heart:

I already had the Feasting Pig from the original event, and the Autumn Doe and Stag from the Tent last year. And I already have 2 Wild Turkey's (think they were gifts)
The Turkey drops are nice indeed. But I mostly only collect from my Peacocks lately (for the rare Gold Item drops), so I don't really need more chicken drops.

I wonder how long these prizes will stay in the Tent.. I'm hoping for some cool new winter prizes. :cool:

Proves how truly random these things are. I got the pink fire for Halloween only once, and I had wanted at least 3. Shrug. It's really ok, I would rather they be random as they are. Part of the fun for me is to come up empty handed sometimes, makes the wanted item even more precious. : )

I thought this was odd: 1 of my accounts managed to get 3 Thankful Gnomes. I am so thankful! ;) But what is weird is that all 3 of them were due to be collected at the same time last night, and every one of them gave me a Sweet Feast. It seems like the odds of that would be rather low as what they give is so random from time to time. Anyway, very happy with that as that is one of the harder feasts to make.

Yes, I agree it was just luck, but I thought it was interesting. I'm glad you got more Gnomes, but sorry you missed out on the Seamstress. I have her but haven't been collecting from her. She's just there to look pretty. Lol!

I have amassed hundreds of bronze runes, but they are of little use without enough silver runes to make boosts and craft an Alicorn, not to mention the nearly impossible to get gold runes. I have decided that if they ask for something I am on the fence about giving, I just won't give it because the payoff probably won't be worth it. I have made a few harvest boosts which have helped me to get my food stores built up, plus after getting the boosts or whatever from the Tablet of Tabernaum, I am finally getting somewhere on being able to harvest crops without using so much energy. It made a big difference once I reached that point.

When we have new new prizes everyone struggles to get their hands on, the 'Tent month' is cut off after exactly 1 month, and when we have almost exactly the same prizes as last year, the 'month' goes on and on. :(

I know what you mean by "Stingy" elves. It took me years to craft and build up my stable of 18 Rainbow Alicorns. But then I did religiously cater to the elves' request, only skipping it when they ask for a ton of Gold Nuggets or Luminous Silver or Gold Tridents (the last two taking impossibly long crafting times to make). The "payments" are random (haven't spotted any lasting patterns yet) and for now, the only way to ensure that we earn the Gold Runes is to keep fulfilling their requests; I'm two Gold Runes from my 19th Rainbow Alicorn.

As for the Thankful Gnomes, I have three from last year and managed another three this year but am still hoping for more. I worry when my store of Sweet and Spicy Feasts fall below 80 :D

Me three! I have enjoyed the chance to get more Gnomes - I have 4 each now on 3 accounts, but one account only has 2 Gnomes. Would definitely like to get another Gnome pair on that account, but I am also ready to move on. I thought we would get Christmas or winter prizes, like you said. Maybe they are waiting to do some sort of Valentine theme?

I hope you get the Thankful Gnomes before they change the prizes. I posted how disappointed I was that they had not shown up in my Tent and just like that I was able to get four of them. I know it can be extremely frustrating with the randomness of this game (you don't get good drops for weeks at a time or sometimes longer and you read about how some players are able to get multiple items or get pretty decent drops). I wish it could be the same across the board for everyone. The power of the post seemed to work for me and I am hoping it works for you before they change the prizes. :)

P.S. I hope that I didn't offend anyone by my mentioning that some players get multiple items and decent drops because that was not my intention. Good luck to all hoping to get the Thankful Gnomes. :)

It's good news prizes are changing next month, but I think it's not ok we were stuck with the current ones (that were already repeats from last year) for 3 months (by the time they change)

The programmers might have been concentrating on the holiday and current events and maintenance for all their games, and might be stretched too thin to also update the Tent. Hopefully they'll come back with something generous to make up for the wait!

Oh no, that fine, I live in Southern California and businesses having to deal with staffing shortages are in the headlines almost daily. Not sure how much that’s true in Silicon Valley, but I did notice the company has some art and creative design openings posted.

I'm very excited for new prizes since I only recently bought a cabbage hut and have already acquired one set of the Thankful Gnomes. Would love to get a second set before they change the prizes but definitely not something I'll be upset about if I wont.
