I'm going to work on it. If I end up lacking space I can put some of these away later. I like having another centaur. Can't tell what drops Sniffles would have but I'm guessing regular skunkupine drops. The vet building is very cute. I can put a less appealing 1400 coin building away if low on space. I do sometimes collect from them.

Faerie Atrium build a vet building type event. I'm not sure if the faerie atrium items have drops yet.

Probably going to try to get the Faerie Atrium prizes, but not going to work my butt off for the Centaur. I would *love* to get the energy crates and crowns from the community event, but I just don't feel like investing any more energy than I have to at this point. The rooster on the Chicken Coop we can craft in the Faerie Atrium is the same color as the Wild Rooster many people liked during Ivy’s Magic Garden event in May. We asked S8 if we could get one for our kingdoms and they added it here.

So glad Sniffles is the 3rd craft in the Atrium and not the adventure prize. This way, I can get one. I just wanna cuddle him and tell him it will be all better.

For anyone looking to plan ahead… this event uses the Troll Camp. Be sure to wait for the goal to collect from it.

Yes farmhouses spawn sniffles which drop green goop for upgrading hospital and also needed for adventures.

Not aimed at high level players who don't need Feasts, Petals, Spellbound Dew and Glimmerdust anymore.
I was hoping for the Unicorn dropper we missed out on with the Renee debacle, but the opposite is true alas.
There doesn't have to be an Energy dropper or guaranteed Trade Ticket dropper each event S8, but you can add a bit more variety to keep it interesting for everyone.
Maybe throw a deco dropper in the mix? Those are far to scarce for my taste (in events as well as in the Tent and sales)

Are you a new player? You mentioned needing more levels. I'm not sure what level is needed to spawn Sniffles but he comes from farmhouses. The 4 hour adventure in the castle will sometimes (very rare) give a rare item, but can give items needed for the event's crafts. It's difficult to chop enough resources to send it off, but it's doable to send at least a few times. If you are new, I highly recommend working on the faerie atrium items, and collecting from the vet's tent as close to every two hours as possible to get some community rewards.

I hope the adventure is helpful as so far I have zero for two collections from the troll camp. Is anyone else having this problem?

The main source of the Medicine Boxes is the Ye Ol' Animal Hospital. It drops 1 to begin with, but the drops increase the more you upgrade it (to 25 per collection when fully upgraded)
Follow the 'Quite the Moo-d Swing' Goals and collect from the Animal Hospital whenever you can.
The Faerie Chests will also drop some Medicine Boxes. (see the Daily Goals 'A Faerie Dire Situation' in your Goalbook)

And the (super rare) Winter Mink drop from the Snowkid.. :love_heart: Love it!
It's such a shame S8 doesn't give us the opportunity to acquire them more often.

I can see from the first page that we need a total of 22 bandages which will require sticky glues from the troll camp. So why is the troll camp not a guarantee dropper??

Sometimes it feels like the programmers who write the requirements for each event don?t even play the game or really understand whats required to finish these events. But maybe I am misunderstanding and the randomness of the drops is designed to force us to buy the additional sale package with sticky glue in it.

No, I don't have the Mummie Fang Pup (alas!), but I do have 'The Witchiest Workshop' and 'Billy the Skelly' who both also drop Halloween stuff like Spooky Wall, Gate, Tower and Path, Ivy's Broom.
Ow, and I have 2 Vampire Tomb's who drop Halloween deco's (when they feel like it :p)

You can get rid of the question marks which should be apostrophes by turning off smart punctuation on your device.

If this was a Storybook Event, I would have done it. But with the rollbacks from Ivy and inability to do adventures to potentially make up for that the last event, PLUS random Troll Camp drops again on this one, I am not engaging. I will do the daily Faerie Chest tasks but that's it. I probably would have done this one if the Troll Camp drops were guaranteed. The last event was just too demanding, to then segue into a demanding Community Event. It's too much work, less fun. And I am disinclined to rewards numerous rollbacks on event-necessary long timer items by spending $. I am willing to spend money when I want something but have limited playing time for an event, to ensure I finish, but not when I feel I am "forced" to because the game software is wonky.

Deco droppers are items/ animals/ characters that drop decorations when you collect from them.
Usually they drop a Wall, Tower, Gate and Path, all in the same theme (winter of Halloween for example). And they usually also have more rare drops like an animal or a bigger decoration.
The deco droppers don't come around often, but when they do, make sure to try and get one.
Normal decoration you can buy in the store (usually) has a limit on it. Preventing you from using the same Path in your entire realm.
But stuff that drops from deco droppers don't have such limitations.. you can have hundreds of the same Paths for example. (which gives much more freedom when decorating)
I don't think we can discuss it in more detail here because it is off topic, but just remember they are AWESOME :cool:

Yes, he's great, I think the plant has a 7 day timer but it gives me 5 scrolls every time and is very a pretty orange and animated looks like music coming out of it. Love it.

Yeap the 3rd update will transform it into a cottage. The final form is visible on the first page.

I think I'm going to keep the animal hospital as a tent as well. I like it better than the little house. I'm not a real fan of the half-horse character so I'm not going to struggle to get her either. I like the chicken coop, milking cow, and Sniffles so it's basically the Fairie Atrium for me on this event. That's ok though. I'm still worn out from the Card event Whew!

Sorry you got caught this event. For future reference, you do get warned in 2 places in your game when the building will change.
1. The congratulations screen will have an unlock with a picture of what Level 3 looks like.
2. In the goals screen, look at the picture next to the task to level up the item. It will show what the item will look like at the new level.

It's my fault for not paying attention. The sneak peek screens did indeed include the hospital looking like a cottage, I just assumed they'd chosen a different look when the tent showed up at the start of the event and was quite pleased with the change in artwork. You're right, it's brilliant that the intermediate levels actually look like something other than a pile of junk. Pity I can't undo the upgrade, never a rollback when we need one 😂

It doesn't seem to be guaranteed. I didn't get anything in my last collection just about an hour ago. I'm collecting 3-4 times a day and have only gotten 3 of the event item so far. I'm on my 3rd adventure and crossing my fingers.

I take back my last post. Looks like someone turned on guaranteed drops at the Troll Camp. Now I can play at a more leisurely pace and enjoy the event.

The last two days I have got max 2 from troll camp collections. Just missed again now - definitely not guaranteed. Need 16 more in 11 days and barely getting 1 a day. Random drops are the pits. I won?t use gems ever to speed up a random drop. My luck with this game would not be worth it.

I?m not even playing the event but thought maybe I could chop some aloe plants for leaves to go on an adventure. After chopping 2 entire plants and getting zero leaves (meaning I used one entire energy refill), I?m done with that. I?d never get the pig, anyway.

While looking through my inventory to see what I might need from the Autumn Sale, I came upon the Feasting Pig. I put it out next to the Butcher Pig. The Butcher Pig is disproportionately smaller than the Feasting Pig. S8, please make the Butcher Pig a bit larger, just like the Feasting Pig. They make a great pair!

Very disappointed with the roll backs. This is the 2nd time this event that I have been doing the fairy chest tasks and I have had roll backs, the chests get added task disappears then it rolls back only have 2 chests and no tasks. ThanksIf you're still needing aloe sap for the crafts , I'd say do it. If you have all the sap needed, I say don't. The drops are normally easy to get stuff. Not worth it. And pig drop is rare, rare, rare, rare. Rare random.

Agreed. I have been playing for almost 7 months now, and the rollbacks have become more frequent in that time. Also, they do happen at all different times of day and while doing all different types of tasks. They are random and unpredictable, and there is no "safe" time.

Concerning roll backs, my experience is about the same as Kat the First. They seem to happen to me at certain times. I sometimes wonder if a visit by community or neighbor might cause a roll back. But I have no way of testing or proving that theory. Just a thought. Random thought.

Haha if I only played at the same times each day, I would consider this! But I play at various times.....sometimes a lot over a few hours, sometimes only logging in to do an Ivy collect, or another "timed" collect....and other than the "obvious" code update times (Monday doorbuster, etc.) where something posted to the game correlates with a rollback, I am seeing more and more rollbacks. Sometimes 2-3 "silent rollbacks" within a 90 second time period! Sometimes I get the energy back, sometimes not. Oh, and "quick collect" no longer functions for me, the game crashes. I think I have only 1 walker, I will double check and remove all, as well as put away some collectable items. I am also deleting deco I don't like or use, to see if that affects things. I don't visit neighbors or Community members unless I must, so if that impacts gameplay I am trying to minimize it.

Not lucky it was two over the two days. Now with less than 9 days to go I still need 11. Just checked again? and no luck. It isn?t even about getting them all by the end of the 9 days, because you need the hospital to be at max drop rate of 25 to get anywhere near the ?major? prize. Everything else is collected.
As for the adventures, not a lot of luck there either, and definitely no pig.

This is fun! I had the best luck (so far - I have only been in one account so far) with chickens, getting some mystery chests from them but no luck with all my piggies.

They misspelled "sheared" as "sheered." :( As a sheep owner, I hope I can get this cute little sheep for my kingdom.

This is fun. :). Royal pig dropped a chest and each 10 crops I got a chest. I only had 20 ready, the rest are fellora flowers. I wonder if the chests will continue to drop after this task completes.

Don't forget ghost pig and ghost sheep. I almost did.

The number in goals is not the number of chests you get but for example the number of Fangbeasts you fought. To get that number to increase for the goal you will have to harvest 10 plots of wheat.

1st line will only count Fangbeasts you fight
2nd line will only count pigs
3rd line will only count Potion Shop crafts
4th line will only count wheat

We can get chests from many other places as you see. I think S8 was trying to give us a place to start.

My take on this fun side goal is that you have 7 days to find, craft, grow and then collect and chop the mystery chests. There is no limit noted on the back on the inventory card for number of mystery boxes you can find, so it's probably limited only by your energy consumption to find the boxes. The goal said that fangbeasts and direboars might drop boxes, but I've not spawned anything else yet to see if monsters are limited to just these 2 or not. Any crop works too. It's like an Easter Egg hunt! have fun!

I just got a chest when collecting a Traveler's Brew, so I don't think it matters what you craft.

There's only a chance that crafting the items would give you a chest. It was the same with the Kitchens. I crafted a bag of flour (since we needed to collected wheat) in each of the kitchens and I got a chest from one and only flour from the other. The second time around saw no chests dropping whilst the third time around got me another.

Only my potion shop did count toward the goal. Craft standard items, not goal or event items. Lumin Essence, Enchanter's Essence, etc. worked well for we.

Curious! The game treats the Mystery Chests as if they were rocks or debris. Opening four of them cleared the daily goal of chopping up four Rock Outcroppings.

Hmm, maybe store the potion shop and bring it back out? The crafts from the potion shop are counting for me.

For anyone who is confused, it sounds like we have two objectives for 7 days:

1. Task in kingdom goals book: Get it off your chest
Defeat 5 fangbeasts
Tend to 5 pigs
Craft 5 items in the potion shop (specifically the potion shop for this task)
Harvest 10 wheat
Reward: 500 coin, 10 experience, one mystery chest

2. Then to collect from various items in the kingdom for a chance to get more chests.

Fangbeasts
Direboars
Chickens
Pigs
Sheep
Potion shop
Magic forge
Kitchen
Exchange
Crops

I've gotten one mystery chest from a rock outcropping. I've fought one of most beast types including marmosea, troll, skunkupine, aquapanther, several Sniffles sickly skunkupine, one fangbeast, two direboars.......with no chest drops. I'm not having much luck spawning fangbeasts.

Spawn fangbeasts:
Cows, Chickens, Pigs, Mink, Swan, Hot Pepper, Carrot, Trees, Stables, Hatchery, Farmhouses, Fangbeast Trap, Glimmeregg Bunny, Season 5 Training Dummy, Shih Tzu, Ugly Goose, Lair of Beasts (I think some birds like cockatoo and tropical parrot have a chance to spawn them too)

......farm houses currently are mostly spawning Sniffles
......wheat, sugar cane, tomato and aspen tree can spawn skunkupines instead of fangbeasts

Spawn direboar:
Cabbage, Cocoa Beans, Strawberries, Glimmerbulb, Buildings, Goddess Tree, Multi Flowered Hedge, Mushrooms, Ponds, Wells, Dire Boar Trap, Rock Outcropping, Lair of Beasts
Direboars are supposed to have a chance to drop chests (but the two I spawned from Petunia the bard and the goddess tree didn't for me).

For getting mystery chests, I've had best luck with crops and chickens.

I'm still working on the vet event. Drops from the troll camp have not been consistent.

This is a cute little surprise event.

Yes, you have to use the regular potion shop if you want it to register for your count of items under "get it off your chest." Using the Toadstool one doesn't count, so I doubt that any of the other ones do, either. I don't know if you can still get prizes from the other types. I am only saying that it won't add to your count under the goal.

On another note, I really need to pay better attention to what I get in drops and from chests. I opened some mystery chests and saw coins tumble out, so I assumed that was all I got. Then all of a sudden I realized that I had 30 energy when I had been down to about 5. So one of the chests must have given 25 energy?!? Or maybe multiple chests each gave me 5 or so energy. I don't know. But it was much appreciated!

ETA, my best drops seem to be from my ducks, but ducks are not listed as being part of the event.

The drop rate for Stucky Glues is horrific, the worst I've ever seen. I still need five! I've been done with the Animal Medicine and Cast kit for days, but the sticky glues are holding me back. They rarely drop from adventures either.

Regardless of what the other goals are doing....or the intent of how they are supposed to function...the crafts that drop a chest are ticking off the counter on the goals. Well that isn't how it is working on my 4 accounts. Every time I complete a craft in the potion shop, I get credit on the counter, but NONE of those crafts have given me a mystery chest. I think you would have to sell your toadstool potion shop and then buy the regular potion shop in the market.

Collecting chests from kitchens does not count in the goal. Only completing crafts in the potion shops will count toward that part of the goal. The goal is not how many chests are completed, but how many times you do the required task.

Despite a bit of confusion at the start, I was able to finish the book goal, but the chest from that only dropped coins. Coins from 199 to 5000 (once) are the most common. Didn’t keep track but maybe chopped 50. Gold apple and egg, a good number of wisp lanterns, a trade ticket, and some black flags, wisps I think.Best source of chests seems to be geese, ducks, and chickens. Eggs can make noodles and ice cream, so they’re not wasted. Also collecting from them spawns fangbeasts. Just did a round of collecting and ended up with 9 chests and yea! Got 2 sheared sheep. And it is shear with an A. Sheer with 2 Es is see through. Think they make a fun addition to my sheep pasture.

I got my first Sheared Sheep in the third chest, so I don't think it's related to finishing the Goal.
I found 4 so far, no other pets yet. (someone mentioned getting a baby Dragon ;))

The faerie chests show up 24 hours after you open them the day before. I have completed upgrading the vet hospital and I'm still getting the goals. If it has been over 24 hours and you have not received the goals, contact support.

I've had it happen where faerie atrium goals skipped a day and also where some started at 8pm CST. Probably I was late doing the previous day's goals. But I've had two days this week where I was late completing, and the next day's goals appeared just after lunch like usual. So if yours doesn't appear tonight, I would send in a ticket. But I'm not sure if tickets are handled over weekends.

My best mystery chest drops seem to be crop plots, the rock outcropping, then chickens. Y'all might want to try the rock. I was surprised at how well it worked. If nothing else, you can chop 19 of 20 and have one ready for Wednesday's weekday warrior to check mystery chest drops.:)

I only have the one kingdom. Game play was a lot slower when I started in Feb. 2013. I recall when we were waiting with anticipation on Thursday mornings if there would be an update. Having extra time back then, I arranged things in what I thought was a logical order. While I?m not fully expanded, Poicephalus is pretty big with numerous themed areas. Only the potion shop counts towards the actual goal. The other crafting buildings have a chance to drop a chest but don't count towards the goal in your book. More info in post 2 on page 1 of this thread.

The information I added with the *'s was provided to us by S8. To me, 'you can chop them whenever' means at any time, so this week, next week or next year. It's that the chests will only drop this week.

They may be like rainbow pots and other boxes we've had before. To be on the safe side, just chop them and if you've loads of them and you don't want to chop them this week, then you're probably going to be ok. This could be open to misinterpretation (use of the word whenever), but it's all we have to go on at the moment...

Given they are dropping golden items I'd say they're worth chopping and not keeping. Plus that shearing sheep is super cute!

I was surprised to see it was a 2x2 also, and had to store it, except for one account where I left it out, and have not received any energy from that one yet. I'm enjoying my milking cow and all the Sheared Sheep I got. I really thought it was going to be hard to get the sheep, but it seems like he was actually pretty common.

It was weird - having 4 accounts, I can kind of compare. One of my accounts dropped a lot of mystery boxes, and one account. it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to drop. It was a lot of fun, though, and encouraged me to harvest crops more often.

Edme is a bit of a powerhouse for multi drops (pile of seeds, hot pepper,, eggs, purple petal, n/sprite all in one collection).... in addition to the drops already recorded, she also drops Hot Pepper and it looks like Newborn Sprite is a guaranteed drop.
