WHOOT! After years of suffering mild annoyance and irritation every goal, the Serve typo in Goal 2 was finally fixed! Gotta give a shout out thanks to Mod Paul for flagging it again last goal - thanks a million.


Another fountain goal prize no Drink Recipes.

If it makes any difference, the final goal prize is not the fountain, it's the Luxurious Lounger.

Yes it does make a difference, I appreciate the final goal prize is something different, but it would really make us players much happier if we felt heard by them when we say we’re tired of fountains.

I really like this theme and am happy with what they've done with it. Art Deco is a style I'm a fan of in general and I'm glad to see they branched out a bit in the coloring on this one. The dark green and gold are great and not as severe compared to the black and gold they usually use when trying to show items are 'Deco'.

When I saw the CookBook images of the recipes, my excitement only grew. They look amazing! So, I was pretty disappointed when I served my first batch of Deco Cookies and saw this:

I like the cookies themselves, but I'm just never going to be a fan of the trays. Despite this, I've high hopes for the other two; especially the Sharp Cake - I need it to have a great presentation so I can display it with pride.

You guys are sad but the good news is that it's not another fountain for a final prize so we are moving into the progress realm.

This theme is not for me but, I think people who love Victorian Era decor or into antiques will love this theme.

I just can?t associate ballet stuff with a bakery. I guess I?m just a purest. My favorite decor items are things that make sense for a bakery. Although I do think the ballet stuff is cute.

Sadly, this is not the case. With the current goal schedule, the most downtime we get in between goals is 2 days and that's only when we have two 15 Day Goals back-to-back. For instance, we went straight from a 5 Day Goal into this one but when this goal ends on the 21st, we'll have downtime until the new goal starts the 23rd.

There's a Speculation Calendar (link in my signature below) that shows when goals are expected to start which can help you have a better idea of the current goal schedule, if you're interested.

EDIT: This is a pic from RS showing the new Dirndl Stove - the image on the stove top is from the first recipe but I've progressed to the second recipe and haven't seen the clock image above. Weird.

The final goal prize is quite disappointing! �� Storm8, why can’t you come up with something original? Some ideas? How about coordinated store fronts, similar to “Haunted Lines” goal item from last year? Coordinated alleys/streets of cafes, restaurants, etc. Coordinated wall and floor tiles, which would be different from each other, but matching? More shrubbery, flowers and trees, street lights… - people like to decorate their bakeries with outdoor items. Open up old goals for people who wants to do them or at least make old goal items available for sale. I’ve been asking for ‘Paris Flowers’ or ‘Titan Tannenbaum’ goal items forever… and can we go back to the old goal format? It’s really BORING to recycle recipes to build ovens requiring so many parts! This is the reason I quit RS. It’s just become boring monkey work and too time consuming…. Bring back the fun! We are here to DECORATE! Not to recycle recipes…

This goal might just have the most counter presentations I've liked in a while; lately it's felt as though there's only one out of six that I'll ever serve again after mastery while this one is a solid four out of six for me. Really glad to see the team branching out from flat trays and getting more height into the displays once more. The cakes in particular were my favs, they're colorful but not overly decorated so they'll work in a lot of different settings. But an honorable mention goes to the tiered tower they used for the truffles, it really makes them stand out and I think they'll look great in my St. Paddy's bakery next March!

I feel like all the ?best? goals have come and gone and I keep waiting and hoping for something different with drink machines. Like before, cmon storm 8 you can do better!

I agree about the truffles being nice for St. Patrick*s Day and a little better all the way around on the food.

I am not a big fan of Art Deco in general but do appreciate how things kind of went together here. Well done!

The couch does not need to take up three spaces. The third space - there is nothing there! I was going to use it, but my Goal Corner is small and it takes up too much totally empty space. If it is only 2 spaces, why make it three??
