At the end of the event, you get the option to gem purchase the Lost Child and Crocodile you did not choose to craft. The Lost Child costs 400 gems, and the Crocodile costs 150 gems. It states that you can still summon them to your Realm while this quest is active.

Soooooooo much chopping. Dead trees and live trees too. Goal 2 asks for crabapple trees, but aspens also work. Haven't tested other types yet.

I haven't been able to spawn a Pirate from my cows yet. *eye roll*

I like the Pirate Lass. She is pretty (by conventional Eurocentric standards), and she only takes 5 energy to battle. I did buy a trap for a Pirate, and he takes 13 energy to fell.

I had no intention of playing this event as I don't really care for the kids (ducks flying tomatoes, or possibly rotten cabbages?). I 'm just not a fan of humanoid creatures. But seeing their potential drops (I took a screenshot, so I know I am not delusional this time!), I figure I better play. I am stuck on several storylines for lack of Mithril. It looks like the kid in blue drops Mithril. And the white gator drops (I don't remember what it's called for sure) - life crystal? Something I haven't needed yet, but also something that seems to be very rare, so by golly I want more of it!

The Mateys spawn from cows. They drop a certificate thing and then you can convert 50 of them to having an actual male Matey or a girl pirate of your own. The girl pirate does spawn from dead trees. I have not done troll camp yet and I have spawned the girl pirate several times. The wooden swords also drop from dead trees but rarely.

The Ship Maps only come from the First Mate which only can be found by harvesting the cows. So if that is the item you are looking for, collect from your cows.

If you are asking about the planks, yes they only come from the Dead Trees.

Just came to report my bad luck:
12 ponds, 9 wells: 1 fresh water

I have gotten fresh water from my wells.

Before the above try, I had collected 2 times from the above (within the first hour of the event) and gotten 8 fresh waters. The drop rate has fallen significantly.

I think choosing 1 of the boys and their pet is only available after finishing all the Goals. It doesn't have any other requirements, so just getting it without doing the work wouldn't make sense.

And about the Mithril.. it's the same as a lot of things in the game. They are rare when you need them and not so later on.
For example, in the beginning Golden Items are super rare and really hold up your progress. Now I use them to craft Gems.
Fruit is rare, and you think you have to buy fruit trees.. but they drop from Adventures pretty often.
Then Spellbound Dew is a rare item, until Main Story Line rewards + event prizes + MRC animals gift you with guaranteed Spellbound Dew drops.
I remember needing the Orange Coral/ or shell? for the mermaid storyline.. after finishing the storyline you're rewarded with stuff that drops the coral/ shell, but you won't need it as much anymore and will max on it soon..
The same is true for Mithril. I'm maxed on it, and if I spent it I've got a couple of guaranteed Mithril droppers. 1 is a reward for completing one of the Main Story Lines, some are prizes in events and some are from Baron's Tent prizes.

Eventually you will get enough (of whatever is holding you up, Mithril in your case), the game is designed to have several of these 'rare item hold ups'.
One of the satisfying things about this game is acquiring things that drops what is rare for you at that time.
Keep working through Main Story Lines (they have excellent rewards!) and gather prizes wherever you can. (Cabbage Hut is a very good investment imo)
I think leveling your Sparkling and Deep Mine to Level 9 will also help. Good luck!
And try to enjoy the challenge. I miss it sometimes.

Mines and many armoured creatures have a small chance of dropping mithril. I purchased only 1 mithril dragon which has a guaranteed drop but there are many items from storylines mainly or events that have guaranteed mithril drops like Renata, snowpile dragon, armoured gargoyle (22h collections times) and ancient octopus (8h). Even after a monster hunt event when I would craft a mithril hungry creature, would only take me a week to refill mithril to 99, as I have all of those creatures mentioned above.

The Algae Water is for "The Academy: Herbology for Beginners." It is used in the thread to Awaken Professor Clover. I am also getting quite a bit of Algae Water. I wish I was getting as much Fresh Water, which is very scarce for me.

The Tree Fort is disproportionately larger than the Ship. The First Matey towers over the Ship. Can we get the Ship made a bit larger so we can discern some of its features? Just got a Fresh Water from my Mermaid Pond.

Really? That’s good news! It often doesn’t work for event drops. I also got Fresh Water from my Koi Pond.

I’ve been trying the Swampy Pond to no avail, but, seriously, who would expect Fresh Water from a Swampy Pond? Lol!!

I’m disappointed in the low drop rate for Fresh Water. Also disappointed that the energy packages are only for 80 Energy and not unlimited like they’ve always been before. I can’t get very far with only 80 energy. No crop harvesting for me for 2 weeks, I guess.

ETA: Cash Cows virtually never work for event drops and spawns, so I haven’t even tried during this event.

No, the First Mateys spawn from cows, not ponds. However, my spawn rate has been low.

Pirate lass spawns from Dead Trees, and she has been more than willing to come out and battle.

It is only day three so there is a lot more time. My Troll Camp has been pretty generous. Hopefully you can collect from it three times a day. You only need about 1.5 drops per day from the troll camp to finish. I'm finding the Fresh Water and wooden swords to be harder to come by.

Now, the Wooden Planks is included in this. I cannot keep track of the number of Dead Trees that I’ve purchased and chopped. WHY? WHY is this so blasted impossible? How the heck are we supposed to make these ever increasing items to upgrade this tree, if the items needed are almost nil in being dropped?! S8 this needs to be fixed! PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

I agree that the Fresh Water is almost impossible to come by, and I would like them to fix it. I’ve also had trouble spawning the pirate. It doesn’t help that cows can also spawn Fangbeasts (and bushes spawn Toxified Spirits). I’m not at all surprised that the Swords are so rare. The items needed to go on adventures during these events are *always* extremely rare. I don’t even bother trying for those anymore.

In deed, this is the energy hog. A lot of my energy is used just to get fresh water. I have not made the stats, but it is at least 10 ponds per fresh water, if not more.

Fresh water definitely had the worst drop rate.

The drop rate for Wooden swords doesn't matter for the completion of the event. It is for the optional adventure, which mostly drops berries and sticks (easy to get items).

I have lots of extra energy so was able to chop all my dead trees at once. After that I've been able to periodically enter the game and not use too much energy: wells and ponds, Aspen trees, bushes and sawmills. I haven5 been babysitting at all (except about every 7 hours for the troll camp).

I am now just waiting for 8 troll camp items and 5 sawmill items.

Don't give up. You've got plenty of time if you focus on one level at a time.

Closing in on a milestone in my game,hence one reason I skip events I'm not too interested in. Drops are different too. I agree the green crocodile timer doesn't make the drop very interesting, hence he will hit storage.

This was a fun event. My affection for Peter Pan goes back to the Mary Martin TV special of the musical play; building Wendy?s house on stage was the best part. Hey - where is Wendy, anyway? We did have Pixie for Tinkerbelle! Then when my son was little, we relaxed in a hammock every day while I read him the book. Good memories.

Surprised that Indigo is a girl. I guess you can?t tell much from the outfits they wearing. I know nothing about Peter Pan, so if it?s obvious that there is supposed to be a girl character, sorry i missed it. I only want her for the feasts and Mithril drops.

I also just realized that there aren?t many characters of color in the game. Sometimes I wonder if the people from other countries who play get some of the pop culture references in the storylines.

The event was quite relaxing for me as I have collected plenty of energy. No special timers, no disturbance in the night, no need to babysit collections. Just pure fun. Funny dialogues, funny name Peeta instead of Peter, very funny sound of First Matey while fighting it, superlovely artwork. I feel so happy. :love-struck: Extra thanks for the First Matey, I needed some brutal characters for my decoration. Made three of them.

I chose Indigo and the white crocodile because of the drops. Since I didn't get the green crocodile, I moved the glimmergator to that area in my kingdom. Now it looks like the gator and croc are trying to take a bite out of each other (or kissing).

Anyone else having to log in to the Forum every time now? I used to stay logged in but recently I've had to login each time. Wonder why this changed.

@deadpixel As someone posted earlier, maybe S8 is banking on collectors who want *everything* to actually buy these items. I did buy a green croc on one account because I need some dragon scales and like the looks of him. Had planned to buy it for another account, but now i decided to skip it and see what the Labor Day sale brings. But no way I?d pay 400 gems for something that drops petals. Lol!

I just finished and chose the White Croc. I didn’t care much for the two waif characters so they were a toss-up for me. I liked both of the Crocodiles but the decision came down to the drops and the White was the one I favored. The Tree Fort is an ok decoration but I may not leave it out. I don’t think I’ll have time though to get the First Matey Pirate unfortunately. This was such an energy drainer event for me that I had to spend a lot of time checking in to chop chop and chop. It was a lot of effort for me since I don’t have an energy-storage built up. All in all I would probably rate this event as a 7 (in a 1-10 rating). I liked the Crocodiles mainly. The storyline and the other characters were not that interesting to me. But thank you S8 for trying all sorts of different things and keeping the game interesting and constantly moving forward.

Yes. It?s been occurring every time I go to post. It says I?m logged in but then when I push Post Quick Reply it tells me to log back in.

I really liked this event. I thought it was adorable having one of the children be a little girl (especially with Wendy not making an appearance). I thought it was hilarious and super clever to have them dressed up as fang beast and skunkupine, matching the beasts of the realm. I liked the drops for Indigo/white croc so I bought Saffron despite 400 gems being too much. It really was too high for his drops but I felt it didn't look much like the story without both. And I already had a green croc. I didn't know we had a sale coming. I didn't buy the shipwrecked troll/trade ticket value pack because I had already bought Saffron. Otherwise I might have.

It took a while for me to complete this event, but I enjoyed it.

I haven't paid too much attention to drops from the lass pirate but I have been getting some dust. She also drops items trolls usually do like horn and bone.

Why don't you check with Support and see if they can troubleshoot what happened in your game. link in my signature or on page 1. Choose bugs in the drop down and not game question. Let them know what version of the game you're on, if ios or android as well. Sorry to hear you had such trouble...

Some changes were made to the forum recently (you might have noticed there is a different icon top of screen on the tab if you open the forum on a PC or in Full Mode (which is my preference)). When you login, you need to make sure the Remember Me button is ticked before you put in your password.

I was able to start crafting the Pirate Lass with 2 hours left on the timer. I just went in to collect her, the event is over and I have no pirate lass 😭. Usually when a quest is over anything that is crafting you can still collect, right?
Just when I thought I had a handle on these goals to get them completed on time.

Unless a goal screen / crafting screen extends time then the end is the end. The exception is normally in the faerie atrium which gives a little extra time. you can contact Support if you like and ask if they would be willing to give her to you... can't hurt to ask, but be prepared for a no.

Loved the look of this one but between change of role at work, ( Now in the office at front of house so no phone allowed) too much on at weekends, just lots of events in real life so struggled with this one. It was doable apart from the drops from ponds/wells which was terrible.

I was very happy the troll camp was consistent in its drops. Thank you S8.:). I realize there needs to be a bottleneck, but I felt that the water drop was very much too low. The ratio felt off. I realize some events have the difficulty level up higher but they usually have bigger rewards.

I have no idea how people who work are able to finish events.

Hmmm, in Dragon Story if we are crafting something, we can still collect it after the event is over. The only reason I see why this might be different is because the Pirate Ship probably turned into a decoration or something afterwards, but it still doesn't seem fair that TequilaShots4Me wouldn't get the Pirate Lass.

I agree with what others said - the water drops were excessively low. Other than that the event was less stressful and more doable for me than many of the other events, even without the unlimited energy packs.
