First MRC Craft - Unicorn???

I haven?t crafted anything in the MRC yet but I have 39 gold troll tokens. What is the best energy dropper that is available to craft in the MRC? I was hoping I would be able to craft an alicorn but only the glimmer alicorn and armored alicorn are available to craft? I currently have 2 alicorns I won from daily videos, 1 unicorn, 1 wedding alicorn from completing a goal, and a few small energy droppers like Ciara, Diana, etc from events. The MRC descriptions for the animals you can craft are not very helpful so I?m hoping someone here can help me decide the best animal to craft (for energy not golden eggs, nuggets or other items).

What is the difference between a regular animal and a glimmer animal? (Alicorn vs glimmer alicorn, dragon vs glimmer dragon, manticore vs glimmer manticore, etc)

What is the difference between a regular animal and an armored animal? (Alicorn vs armored alicorn, unicorn vs armored dark unicorn, manticore vs armored manticore, etc)

Should I craft a unicorn first or is there an animal that gives you a full energy refill like the alicorn does or is there a daily energy dropper that drops more energy than a unicorn that I should save up my troll tokens for?

Any info, tips, advice is appreciated!!

You can't go wrong with the unicorns as a first craft. I'll happily write more tomorrow when I've time as it's nearly midnight for me but I'd suggest you read through the previous couple of monster hunt threads as this question is asked quite a lot and some players have provided excellent detailed responses. The guides are in the Game Guides sub forum or if unsure there's a link to the main thread in all first posts and in theat dedicated thread a have a list of all 30odd seasons linked in post 1. I hope that makes sense!

The inventory guide has drops as does the Hub thread for all crafts to make it easy to see in one place.

once upon a time, I collected some info about this. It might only address the original 16+ crafts; they later added a bunch more.

What should I craft first?
Unicorns, max 4. Universally recommended. Daily Energy, at least 4, with an occasional big drop.

I'm not exactly sure why glimmer alicorn and glimmer dragon aren't listed first, but I still haven't crafted them. No idea why.
