Recommend/ of interest:
- make 2 of the island bouquets
- leave Ivy's hut alone if you can, bet we're gonna need it later today.
- noted that coconuts have fallen from the palm trees (appropriate) : ) so, we will probably have an adventure for supplies

I noticed that the Cash Cows don't seem to be dropping blooms, either.

Yes, there is an adventure for supplies, but, like an idiot, I didn't notice what all we need. :( I'm sorry. I know that we need Gold Nuggets and Panther Token, which we get from defeating Panthers, but there was a 3rd item needed as well. I won't be able to do much adventuring because I don't have many nuggets. I have been using the few I had on the Tailor Trade - I should have known better.

It's hard to get stuck without a drop this early since there's so little to collect from while you wait. I don't like to chop too many event items this early since I don't think they'll spawn the panthers until we get the side goal for the adventure, even though the event adventure is in my keep.

I’m getting a drop from either panthers or rocks that looks like some kind of fiery crown but they do not show up in my inventory even with a game restart. I’m wondering if I should wait on these tasks now until this is fixed because it appears I’ve lost about 5 thus far. Anyone else?

Side note: I love that S8 has been including other drops for regular kingdom production with all items in the event. Ie: panther dropping eggs, chopping trees and rocks giving wood, stone, silver etc. It’s great because with this event gathering I can run trades all day long with milk and eggs! Thank you. :)

You will automatically get them for completing the goals/tasks in this event. If you look at the. Bottom of the page in you will see them listed as rewards for some of the steps.

I had to chop 10 trees to get 5 coconuts. Generally I get enough of the "rare item" (in this case coconuts) to go on 6-7 adventures, from chopping all I need of the regular item (usually 440), so yeah low drop rate

Make sure you get all 3 chests every day.
Begin with the fire pit or Hut immediately when you have enough faeries. Then go for the other when you have enough faeries.
Save the Panther for last. You will need (almost) the full 2 weeks to gather the Golden Faeries (Talinium).
If you do them in this order and if you don't save up your faeries, you will be able to make all 3.
There is a max of 99, so you can't save the faeries up. If you do that, you won't have enough or the easier to get green and purple ones in the end. So make them when you have enough

For extra clarity..
This is the problem when you want to craft the Panther first. You still have to wait 2 weeks to get enough of the Golden Faeries.
You will have maxed out on the other ones long before. You will have 99 green, blue, purple and rainbow Faeries.
You make the Panther and then you won't have enough Faeries to make any of the other craft. Which is such a shame and waste.

Instead, if you spent the faeries when you have enough, you will have more then enough time to replenish the easier to get Faeries in the time you have to wait for the harder to get ones.

I've always done it this way, and I've always managed to make all 3 crafts without spending any Gems.
The drops are random though, so no guarantees.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the cash cows should be dropping plumeria? I have a lot of the cash cows and a few other ?special cows? from past events like my ghost cow, purple cow, etc but I don?t want to waste my energy on them if only the regular cows are dropping the plumeria!!

I really prefer the smoke belching level 5 volcano to the erupted level 6 version. Can anyone tell me what the finished volcano is supposed to drop after the event is over? Will the level 5 volcano drop anything after the event is done, or does it need to be finished to drop anything?

Does anyone know what the two Firefoxes drop after the event is over? I have a bunch of creatures in my inventory that drop common supplies. What do you think about stopping at level 5 to keep the cute level 5 volcano?

Also want to point out that you don't HAVE to craft everything, unless you just really like them all. I usually skip the things that are only deco with no drops. This time, I'm only crafting the panther. I'll use my excess of other fairies to craft extra crowns or coins.

I just finished chopping all my palm trees and got exactly 35 coconuts. It definitely went hot and cold with the drop rate.

I averaged about 8 palm leaves per tree.

I cant get fangbeasts... Tipps?!

I was having the same problem last night. Prior to reaching the goal where I actually needed to battle fangbeasts, I literally couldn't make 2 moves without tripping over one of the darn things. Once the goal was triggered, they were nowhere to be seen, no matter how many cows I visited. I just chopped some palm trees and didn't see any either. I hate to do this, but I resorted to buying a Fangbeast trap so I could move forward. Also, I should mention that I got an endless supply of trolls and dire boars during this time, just no Fangies.

You can't always spawn a monster, sometimes you have to wait until it comes up in the storyline.

When I got the goal to **** it it went to my inventory and I got him that way but when I clicked again because the ponds didn't work, it took me to the market so I exited out. I am ready to go to sleep anyway. Hopefully restarting will help

Concerning the Troll Camp. There is something I always do, and I feel like it improves the drop rate. It is in no way guaranteed to improve your drops, or a proven theory, just something I feel helps. Here it is :

I always store the Camp after collecting. For just 2 minutes while I do some other things, and then getting it back out.
It's something you can try if drop rates are bad. It costs nothing. (just remember to put it back and wait a minute to make sure you don't get a roll-back)

Troll camp and mines are being stingy again. Seems like they were stingy the last time we had an event like this. Takes forever to get started on individual and community prizes when it takes so long to craft the volcano upgrade items. I'm sure we'll finish, but it does get a bit discouraging to collect and not get anything.

My troll camp stopped giving me gemstones this morning. I only seem to be able to get one gemstone a day from the troll camp and my mines are only dropping the twine about one out of every 3 times I collect.

two days and only one fangbest i get panters just fine so i know theres no monters on field yet i cant get a fangbeast to pop up. this has never happend to me before but now i know how others feel. i do not have countless gems to spend so i might not win this. all well i was only 30% into this adventure.

Fangbeasts pop up while chopping palm trees. I went through my 19 farmhouses twice the first day before I saw it in this post, lol. (and no monster on my board at the time, I checked the music to make sure!)

Level 6 Volcano spurts yellow lava. The puffs of smoke are gone.
The collection time of the Flame Cats is 8 hours. The Flame Cats are more like Flame Kittens. They are smaller than the other Cats in the game. This seems to be a trend lately to make things very small (e.g., Winter Castle, Lobstermaid, Ethylle).

The volcanic gemstone doesn't come from the volcano; these drop from chopping the red volcanic rocks purchased in the market. The volcano drops island crowns for the community event. (just to make everyone 100% clear :))

As long as you've been getting the peridot (whatever it is) from the troll camp, catching up on the rocks should be no problem. They take me several hits to get one but it works out, even when I'm scrambling, worst case I can get 5 from 16 hits. My usual problem in events is stopping myself from wasting energy on my regular collections, leaving none for the event, lol. For some reason I'm logging in frequently, so I'm getting more sessions of replenished energy.

Really need more time for chopping ash to make 70 benediction brews, though, lol.

EDIT: I may be wrong, but has anyone noticed coconuts drop more when you don't have a monster out? it means encountering more fangbeasts but I have the delusion that I'm getting more coconuts?

My troll camp is only dropping the gems once a day or one every other day!!! Today it dropped once, yesterday it didn?t drop any and Saturday it only dropped once. I?ve been trying to upgrade my volcano to level 4 for days now but I?ve only been able to craft 1 Island Necklace all weekend. It was dropping at least once or twice a day until my volcano got to level 3 and now it seems impossible to go on with this event if the drop rates aren?t fixed - I know I?m not the only person with this problem. The drop rates for coconuts is extremely low as well, I?m getting maybe 1 coconut for every 10 or more palm trees so I?m not really able to do many adventures either even though I have plenty of gold nuggets. Fangbeasts, on the other hand, are popping up like crazy!!

This event has not been a very successful one so far. At first my chests were invisible. That got fixed but my drops for coconuts are not very often and the troll camp gems are even less often. I'm planning to keep my volcano at level 5. Personally, I love the look of the puffy smoke animation, and the erupted volcano, not so much. I wish they'd meld the two so the volcano would still puff smoke after it has erupted. The only thing it looks like I'm going to miss are the Flame Cats. I have items in storage that drop items similar to the kitten's drops. I'm going to have plenty of crowns to be able to get the crown prize. I have the volcano ready to level up, so I need to remember NOT to do that accidentally, lol.

It seems like a fair number of my neighbors are also fond of the puffy cloud version of the volcano. I suspect that some might be planning to do what I'm doing. S8 did too good a job on the pre-decorated version of the volcano, but dropped the ball by dropping the puffy cloud animation. This could have been the best decoration in the kingdoms. Instead, it feels strange to be able to level up to win everything and not wanting to finish because the end prize is a visual step down from the transition graphics.

I took the plunge and upgraded to L6, and it does spill lava over the top of the volcano which is yellow and I think looks just as good as the cloud puffing out... The new volcano is right at home on the Island of Audra with the bubbling volcano's and other lava items.

I managed to get Journei on my fifth adventure and am now just 1 Peridot Gemstone collection away from the final upgrade. And I didn't have to spend a single gem :tickled_pink:

My troll camp is every 6 hours not 5 and I usually collect from it 3x/day. I?ve been mostly getting just coins from my troll camp and if I?m lucky it will drop 1 gem once a day or once every 2 days for a few days now.

Drop rate from troll camp is awful ,fortunate if get one a day I also found coconut drops were few and far between too

Coconut drops seem VERY low, the drop rate is especially tuned down. I've gone on a total of 3 adventures so far with 1 dropping the coveted Peridot Gemstone. Wonder if they're tuning the drop rates given previous adventure prizes showing up "too frequently"? It would be nice to see the specialty prize drop rate increase if you are able to go on more adventures. Like if you're able to go on 10, 20, 30 adventures and don't get the specialty drop then maybe increased drop rate one you hit the 20, 30 adventures? That's a lot of resources invested in this hypothetical.

In previous events, I'd estimate probably going on 5 or more adventures by now (at least chopping down enough for 1 adventure per day). For perspective, I'm level 50 with a moderate collection of energy droppers. My volcano is level 4 and I'm sitting on 4/5 Island Necklaces, 8/5 Island Bouquets, 10/5 Island Tributes. At this point, it's better optimized to go on adventures than leave my castle empty waiting for a nonexistent adventure.

I don't see why you shouldn't try.
There are people who finished in a week without spending Gems, but I'm guessing these are players with many Energy droppers, so they can go on adventures non stop to get more of the bottleneck Peridot Gemstones from the Troll Camp.
I'm not able to pull it off in only 1 week.
But like I said, why shouldn't you? There is nothing to lose in trying.
You might win Journei on an Adventure, the Volcano has a wonderful puff of smoke animation when not fully upgraded, and you can craft at least 1 of the Faerie Atrium crafts (Island Fire pit is great, with fire animation)
You should at least buy and store some of the Island Palms, they are great for decorating ;)

Are you below level 46? This is a critical question as the requirements are less. The "bottleneck" for this event is the Troll Camp, which is every 6 hours. At low level, you will need 14 peridots from the Troll Camp. The camp is expected to drop peridots 50% of the time, but some people got less, some got more. If you get 100% drops, that's 84 hours required to the end. At 50% drops, that's 268 hours to the end, which is 7 days of round-the-clock collecting. So it really depends on how well your camp is dropping. Many of us got no drop from our first 1-2 Troll collections, but if you get to 3 and 4 without a drop it's a Bad Sign.

If you don't have a ton of energy resources, I found back when I was a low level that I had to stop even the most routine pickups (chicken coop, magic garden, etc) in order to have enough energy for an event. In fact, I used to bank those extra buildings just so I wouldn't be tempted, lol!

The event started a week ago and many people have finished, so it can theoretically be done. A gold nugget is required for each Adventure to get the optional Journei - and an Adventure might give a peridot, which is likely how many people finished quickly.

So it depends how invested you are. Journei is an *adorable* animated hula-dancing troll, but she gives routine troll drops. The flame cats (award from finishing volcano) have regular animal drops. Bedelia (from getting 1000 crowns) is the big prize: she may drop a trade ticket or a wisp lantern. There's no way to get 1000 crowns if you don't complete the volcano.
The Panther is a prize from the faerie atrium, which is separate from the event. But it usually takes me 10+ days to get enough fairies for the best prize. I'm not there yet! But faeries are mostly from the daily tasks to get 3 chests. You definitely have time to make 1 deco, but you'd need better luck than me to get a panther.

Overall it amounts to how often you can play (those every-6-hours from Troll Camp), your level, and how much energy you have for the rest. Many of us got no drop from our first 1-2 Troll collections, but if you get to 3 and 4 without a drop it's a Bad Sign.

I sympathize with you. Just did the math and I ended up spending 20 gems so that I could level up to 5 just now.
This was just a tough event. My Troll Camp was very stingy and my rate for peridot gems from the adventure was 20-25%.

Even with the gems, I will have to collect from the volcano 7 times each day Fri to Wed so I can get 700 more crowns for Belinda!
Good news is I think I am on track to complete things now.

For anyone who hasn’t tried it yet, rotate the Tiki Hut. 2 of the options are slightly blurry, but 2 of the options are really crisp and clear.

Just clarifying/confirming questions:
Can we still go on Dance the Fire Dance adventure AFTER upgrading volcano to level 6 and BEFORE getting 1000 fire crowns to get Bedelia?
(If the answer is no then perhaps this is a glitch as that is not how it has been in the past. Would be a disappointment if S8 purposely changed this feature in this event type.)

Bedelia has a chance to drop trade tickets, not a guaranteed trade ticket drop. (Edit: I just re read page 1 to confirm this one)

My first drop from Bedelia was 3 Trade Tickets and 1 Earth Wisp. She is beautiful and animated. She throws a flame of fire, which she is holding in one hand, up in the air. Her skirt is dripping lava and her head moves around. Quite excellent!

I bought the energy pack with the gift and the game crashed at LEAST five times. It happens far too often when I buy energy packs that the suddenly stops, sometimes it rolls back and others just the galloping horse and trying to play doesn't work so I have to exit out losing the time I PAID for.

I am still doing the adventures because I want the prize which is why I bought the energy pack, to chop coconut trees.

I believe that the game has issues syncing the state of your game on your device and that on the server. The game tends to crash when you carry out mass collections, such as chopping multiple rocks, reefs, and in your case palm trees. When it crashes, it often also rolls back and you then find your work undone and your precious collections confiscated.

This happens ALL THE TIME on Weekday Warrior events during the unlimited energy segments. It is a bug in the system that has been reported countless times but hasn?t been resolved. It is because of this that I NEVER, EVER purchase their packages with unlimited energy because all the unlimited energy time is wasted on a retarded galloping horse.

I upgraded my volcano to the highest level (on one account - the others won?t finish ☹️) and did not receive flame cats. I have force closed a couple times and looked through my inventory as well as looking in the market to see if they were just ?unlocked.? Is this a known issue?

I guess he?ll have to wait a while longer.

Remember you can always park a monster if you don't want to fight. Nothing will spawn if there is already a monster in your realm.

Thank you!?I have considered doing that. In the future I?ll have to remember to do that. I was kind of torn about doing it because I did need troll horns, but I mostly got those darn boars!

ETA, but not on this same subject. I completed the ?Dance the Fire Dance? adventure, and, while I didn?t get Journei, I did get a sword for Sabina. So I guess even these event linked adventures will give the Sword, if anyone is wondering.

This is why I quit playing the game for over a year. It may be time to write it off permanently. There are other games that don?t cause the frustration and irritation that this one does. And they are fun to play. 

Someone else also mentioned being flooded by Dire Boars. That's part of a quest, I'm not 100% sure which one, but I think it's A Boaring Problem (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?94062-New-CS-Main-Story-Goal-Guide&p=1364425&viewfull=1#post1364425). I think that's the one that starts the "stampede" of Boars. Not sure when they stop, but IIRC the quest has some items that are uncommon drops, so it takes a while to suffer through the stampede of finding Boars everywhere you click. If that *IS* the quest that causes it; it's been way too long for me.

Nice layout. Good that you could post the animation. I was thinking about moving my jungle stuff to the island, but found with moving some boulders to the island I had room. Plus I have cleared some space for more Kelpies if needed for the next event.

Lost track of how many adventures I’ve been on… Still no Journei!!! I’m starting to become frustrated. Seems all I do is chop palm trees, **** the panther, and click on my mines (with the nugget boost) and golden peacocks.

Another nice one, team s8! The artwork was lovely across the board and especially love the Journeis I scored - their little hula dances are beyond adorable and the possibility of TT drops are always welcome in my land!

The only complaint from my side is that my board is now uncomfortably full. Seems it's about time to put in for a vacay at work so I have the time to properly sit down and do a deep clean and remodel, lol.

Fingers crossed they give us a land sale soon or at least give us some new plots that require less Explorer Permits/time to unlock.

I find it odd that the Volcanic Rocks drop items, but the volcano doesn't. Usually the rocks just become decos after an event, right? Like the Enchanted Ore from the previous event is now just a deco.

I've asked about the L6 volcano, but interestingly, the Volcanic Rock now has a timer of 3 minutes and is dropping coal, stone and fuzzy moss so far... I'll collect a few more times and see what else it drops and add to page 1.

I stored my volcano. It feels like 3x3 structures have been more common lately. I'm all for variety but space is definitely a problem. Although the face and swirly designs are creative, I agree that I wished S8 had kept the puff of smoke animation on it. I pulled my 2x2 volcano out of storage.
