I'm unsure if I'm going to participate in this, even if it's a exotic pet - due to me not having a place to put it in currently, let alone ever having a place for it in the future. But at the same time, I feel like if I don't do it I'll regret it.

You can keep it in storage until you expand, you might find that you even like a particular item. :)

My chickens work, but what's broken for me is the kitchen. Not a single boot. Since I don't love exotic pets, I'm not that broken up about it, I can just sell the stuff and make some badly needed coin after my last expensive expansion. But man, I'd imagine no one's gonna easily finish that one without spending gems.

I finished the event but the prize seems to be a pot of gold instead of a leprechaun. Even when I feed it the exotic food it remains just a pot. Is this normal, or did anyone get an actual leprechaun?

The leprechaun jumps in and out of the pot once the 12hour timer is over after you feed it. Just like the leprechaun that currently pops up on your farm like a mole/butterfly does. If you collect from it after it's feed and re-feed it, it will repeat the same process all over again.

I think that it is just a few expansion parts. It said that it was a resource item and that is what we normally get.
