I wish they would mix up the community prizes, I miss getting fun deco and other things. I understand many love the energy crates I would just like something different.

Also I NEED scrolls. S8 if you keep giving us crowns then at least add walkers I can add (and store) so the crowns don't just keep piling up. Better yet bring back some of the walkers from events prior to the Town Hall being created. I purposely waited upgrade so I would not get the walker. Those walkers are only ever offered for gems. I'm not going to spend gems on walkers.

Does anyone know if S8 fixed the toxic spirits still spawning from bushes after the elemental discovery storyline is complete? I truly don't want to fight toxic spirits for no reason.

You don’t need to collect from bushes for this one so you can avoid the Toxic Spirits all together. Just chopping the stone ruin usually gives you enough skunkupines.

I don?t know about the toxic spirit and the bushes, but skunkupines are spawning from the Stone Ruins. If this one runs like past events, chopping the ruins will get all skunkupines we need.

Me too ... Came here to see if i was going crazy haha i was on the Sand adventure too .. I didn't got the one from Ivy of course ... That's normal by now unfortunately. Previous event i think i went about 10 Times on adventure : 1 ****ty Ivy item ! Fortunately that one saved my ass haha i'm always out of Luck when it Comes to the Ivy drops. Waste off my nuggers. Luckely last event apples. That i have in overload. And i'm so happy when we can do adventures in another building so the Castle is free for the normaal ones ...

Drop rate from the special adventure items is verry verry verry bad! Every event!

BTW ! I always shop the Aspen tree of we need tree items. Then at least i also get the flowers, needed for the main story Line to make that ridicoulus 70 bottels

You will get 3 quests daily that reward Faerie Chests (see your questbook) The Faeries don?t carry over between events.
The main source for the Celtic Knots will be your Celtic Castle. The more you upgrade it, the more Knots it will drop. (25 each time when fully upgraded). Keep an eye on page 1 for more info.

I'm pretty new on the Academy storyline, but I've always why there isn't a scrolls for crowns and crowns for scrolls trade in the Town Hall.

I actually kissed the Blarney Stone as a kid when I visited Ireland with my family. I am trying to log in multiple times a day as the reward for this is an energy dropper. If you need more, you can try just logging in every two or three hours to only gather from the castle.

If you do the three daily events for atrium supplies, you should be able to craft each of the items in the atrium. I don't know about this batch, but last time one of the items dropped I think it was 1100 coins upon gather.

You can chop a small rock pile or other one besides the rock outcropping. The small rock pile is only five chops. I also thought that tree logs counted but I’m not 100% sure.

For the Clear 4 debris, chop Plant in a Log. They count and are 2 chops. That is only 8 energy for that chest.
You can find them in the Other tab under nature.

These events can be a pain with glitches and roll-backs, but this one was fairly easy. I love the art work.

I miss the 2015- 2017 Castle story events. The Buildings, community drops,The decorations (the art work)
some were 2 weeks to a month to complete. It felt harder and not so “cut and paste”
I’m not sure if that’s bc I was still in my goal book but, yeah. R.i.p to the the ol days lol

I'm not finding the event boring. I'm enjoying it. Is there a thread on the forum that shows the outline for each type of the event scripts?

I think when I finish building the castle, it and the walls will look pretty with the overgrown tower. The dappled gray Clydesdale and Tablet of Tapernum do too.

Not actually sure what thread this fits on but: I just had my Harvest Champion boost going (typically don’t use the boosts because I never remember) and accidentally collected from my cloudberry bushes around my farm plots and it doubled the amount of cloudberries every time they dropped. Didn’t know that the boost applied anywhere other than farm plots, pleasant surprise! Did the same for dark pollen too.

Just go as far as you can. Each time will help your s****s. Also, the forum is great help. I didn?t find it until years of playing. Spirit Wind always post on page 1, the requirements.

Ok so I’m really confused because the info posted on page one says that Ciara is 1X1 but a lot of people are posting that she is actually way bigger than that and takes up 4 squares. I haven’t rec’d Ciara yet (close though) but I’m definitely concerned about how much space she actually takes up! Is the event info posted on page 1 incorrect because that says that she only takes up a 1X1 square?? Welcome!
There are events constantly these days.
They generally run for 2 weeks.
(except Monster Hunts/Leaderboards which only last a week.)

The game doesn’t really start until you reach LVL 50.
Until then you will struggle with most events.
(There are lower level requirements for most events so around LVL 35-40 things should become easier for a bit.)
My advice would be just complete as much of things as you can.
The more things you have in your kingdom the easier everything becomes - so always try to get more.

This is a long term game that requires patience.
The first year will be the slowest.

Yes Ciara is actually 2x2.
The info on page 1 is usually a just guess until all the details have been discovered - so that is why there is occasional discrepancies.

It’s not a mistake that she is 2x2 - it was intentional decision Storm8 made.
It’s because her design is big and beautiful. :love_heart:
But we are all still hoping that Storm8 will change her to 1x1 - cause 2x2 takes up too much space.
I’ve “pretty pleased” to Storm8 to keep her design unchanged except for the reduction to 1x1 ... so hopefully they will. ;)

As the others said, do not let the event discourage you. Typically you will not be able to complete the events for a while. The intermediate prizes for the different events will make each successive one easier and help out your kingdom.

For this type of event, I would be sure to focus on the faerie atrium prizes. If you open the 3 chests a day, you can get the banshee who will give you some good drops. (Red petals and apples were very hard for me to come by at first in addition to the other good drops.)


2 of the chests can be won for 18 energy each day then you just need the 4 monsters. If you can get 4 Skunkupines, that would be ideal. They have the best return on energy.

i have finished the 3 tasks every day by 8pm my time. the new tasks showed up at 3am the next day (again my time). and instead of saying 24 hours to get them done, it said 6 days

I noticed a few events back that the Atrium Antics goal timers had changed to match the event timer. I've not seen any mention of why this change was made (maybe I missed it?) but I did notice in my game that it also changed when my goals were showing.

When the timer was 24 hours for each new set of goals, they showed up the next day at the time I finished the previous day's goals. With the new, longer timers, they were now showing up at the same time regardless of when I finished them the day before. Then I noticed when I missed a day, the new goals showed up immediately after I finished them despite the time not matching. I just figured they changed it to give us better odds of getting every chest regardless of our playing schedules.

Of course (as with all things in CS) this may have been a fluke or an isolated incident. On the off chance it's not, I figured I'd share my experience with the new timer set up. I suppose we'll only figure out the rules of this new setup over time but it would be nice if we were informed of these things in advance so we didn't have to wonder.

Hi! Here?s a tip for new players, when we have the weekday warrior, I recommend mining as many rocks as you can. This will help you level up a lot faster! Doing this helped me jum? from level 20 to 35 within 2-3 months!

Hi! Here?s a tip for new players, when we have the weekday warrior, I recommend mining as many rocks as you can. This will help you level up a lot faster! Doing this helped me jum? from level 20 to 35 within 2-3 months!

I'm not sure if leveling up quicker is the best thing to do.
You will get a stronger realm by progressing through the Main Story Line, expanding your Realm and collecting as much droppers and other stuff on the way as possible.
That takes time... a lot of time. Just leveling up doesn't make you 'stronger'.
The faster you progress through the levels, the faster you'll have the high level requirements in events.
You might be 'eligible' for more events and such sooner, but that's not necessarily a good thing.

I think it would be better to spent that free energy on Main Story Lines, preparing for the next event, leveling up buildings, raising animals, collect resources, doing Royal Exchange trades.....
Main Story Lines give excellent rewards!

I am wondering if S8 would even be able to make Ciara smaller because of coding regarding collision of objects. She does look pretty. For 4 spaces I could wish for a guaranteed drop of more than 2 energy. Or energy plus rare materials.


I'm a new player who just reached level 15 and was initially excited to be part of an event and also to be able to purchase so many new items, but I'm finding the event and all the related tasks to actually be quite taxing. At level 15, should I be able to get very far in the event, or just do what I can and hope to level up before the next event? How often are there events in this game?

When I first started I sort of panicked with the first event. And I wasn't able to even come close to finishing it. Often there are rewards new players can acquire that are helpful even without finishing the full event. Do the faerie atrium quest when it becomes available. Haggy had some good info, and he is right that we have events back to back. S8 knows they get new players all the time so they continue to include resource droppers throughout events. As you play, resources get easier to acquire. It won't take you long to level, despite it seeming so. In a short time you will be able to complete events.

You need Ivy's hut (this is a priority...follow her quest line) and a magic forge (I recommend two forges). They are used in a lot of events. As far as animals go, I would focus on having a few chickens and cows (you may want a horse or two for monster hunt events). The Baron and goat line does not seem to be linked to events, I'd finish casually. Sheep (adventures) and Pigs (Sir Pigglesworth quest line, reward from adventures or gems in market) seem infrequent in events but are used occasionally.

I would get your Tablet of Tapernum finished and then collect from it every time it is available. It opens more bonuses and is a good source of coin. Strawberries are also.

Spending actual real world money - There is a thread on Barons Tent in the forum. It is your choice how much real money you want to spend, but some items in it are only decorative. I am selective on what I pick. The rewards cycle during a two month period then we get new ones. I highly suggest you work on getting a cabbage hut to help with rewards from the tent. This cycle, I don't think the rewards are as exciting. Sometimes the tent has energy dropping creatures, which are very helpful. I also recommend the wizard's school, two of them, as extremely worth purchasing with real money.

Please please make the castle 3x3. The high coin drop is worth it and the art is beautiful. Make it make sense please. Id rather have the castle up scaled than Ciara down sized. My cottage makes the CASTLE look embarassing. Even Fion makes it look funny. If it’s a castle it needs to be a castle. :( This is my favorite event in a long time.

I had forgotten just how awful these events are. I quit the game last year because of them, but got trapped into this one for some reason. So I spent my energy stash and some money but forgot that you can only win if you log in every two hours or make up for not logging in with a lot of money. Such a dumb strategy, you are really discouraging players like me, that have been playing the game for years (over 5 in my case), that spend money in the game and and that log in daily (in my case, every night). I kinda sound like the user all apps dream of, but still I can't win your evens unless I stop working every two hours. I'm uninstalling this time, it's obviously you could care less about user experience, long term users have been ranting about this for years on the forum, still you keep the same event strategy, no matter how much we hate it. Bonus points for the maintenance work that kept the game offline for at leats an hour yesterday, up until then I was actually using alarm reminders to log in every two hours, but that really made me stop and realise just how much you don't give a **** about long term users. Why are they not adjusting the "crowns" to "scrolls"? Don't we ALL have WAY TOO MANY crowns? Really, PAY ATTENTION!! We don't need another crown! EVER!!


I wish they would mix up the community prizes, I miss getting fun deco and other things. I understand many love the energy crates I would just like something different.

Also I NEED scrolls. S8 if you keep giving us crowns then at least add walkers I can add (and store) so the crowns don't just keep piling up. Better yet bring back some of the walkers from events prior to the Town Hall being created. I purposely waited upgrade so I would not get the walker. Those walkers are only ever offered for gems. I'm not going to spend gems on walkers.

I love the Scottish theme.

We do need more scrolls. We really, really do. It's a task that was left hanging with no way to finish. But some of us newer players still haven't maxed out on the crowns. And there are always new players joining who will need crowns. So it would be nice to have more events (one recently) with both as rewards.

I'm still thinking about the size of the castle. I think they may be able to enlarge it with it still being 4 squares. The fall castle is an example that suggested to me that it might be doable.

I'm still not done with this event, but I am still enjoying it.

I collected all materials long ago. But because of that darn Ivy I won’t be able to finish the final upgrade until tomorrow night. Cutting it so close. I had a busy month and missed a few collections. :( also, I did not keep up on collecting from the castle so I need 23 more collections from it to win Ciara. :( i did not want to stop work/ whatever I was doing to get on just to collect every two hours, and now I’m paying the price. I think I can do it though.

I am happy to welcome Ciara to the realm. Fern and Ivy are thinking maybe they won?t grow out their hair after all. And Diana is trying to figure out a way to tactfully suggest some hairstyles.

I agree with others who posted about the ease of this event. As long as I collected from Ivy I'm doing ok. I certainly did not have to babysit the game. And I haphazardly did my chests and got the Banshee. I'll finish sometime today. I may have gone on 2 adventures. I didn't want to use my gold

I did manage to unlock community prizes, so I?m pleased with that. I also finally topped level 17, which allowed me to purchase some of the St. Patrick?s Day critters, which I am happy about. 😊

I managed to have 24 extra faeries and decided to splurge and spend 276gems for a second.

Waste of gems for a 6 month chance of a exp perm. Animation is worthless without the howl / smoke emote from mouth as we saw on the spawn.

Well POTP worked somewhat! A few last chests gave enough faeries for 2 of my accounts to craft Banshees. If those drop permits over the next week, I'll consider gemming for the others. I like how Banshee looks.

If you do the 3 daily goals and get 3 chests a day, you can always craft the 3 prizes in the atrium. I didn't get the last of the yellow faeries till the last day this time (was 1 short) so only needed 1 chest to complete that component of the goals. You can really only afford to miss 1 day though to collect enough faeries for the 3rd craft. Sorry if you missed out this time...

I'm a new player who just reached level 15 and was initially excited to be part of an event and also to be able to purchase so many new items, but I'm finding the event and all the related tasks to actually be quite taxing. At level 15, should I be able to get very far in the event, or just do what I can and hope to level up before the next event? How often are there events in this game?

My first St. Patrick's I couldn't reach level 17 in time to buy the little waterfall. But after that I could do events. Trouble is, I was short on coins, and at the time you needed around 100k coins to buy the consumables for an event. No idea what that costs now, but my first two events I was poor and at the end couldn't rationalize spending my entire bank. But after sitting out an event or two, I found out that events are a necessary expense and conserved coins for them.



I'm not sure if leveling up quicker is the best thing to do.
You will get a stronger realm by progressing through the Main Story Line, expanding your Realm and collecting as much droppers and other stuff on the way as possible.
That takes time... a lot of time. Just leveling up doesn't make you 'stronger'.
The faster you progress through the levels, the faster you'll have the high level requirements in events.
You might be 'eligible' for more events and such sooner, but that's not necessarily a good thing.

I think it would be better to spent that free energy on Main Story Lines, preparing for the next event, leveling up buildings, raising animals, collect resources, doing Royal Exchange trades.....
Main Story Lines give excellent rewards!
I focused on the Main Storyline until I noticed that (a) many storyline rewards are only a few hundred coins, and (b) Events are where you can get super-helpful new things. Two years ago there was no such thing as an Expansion Permit drop, and now we have a couple. Yeah, the energy droppers are not as much as I'd like, I have several that only give 2, lol. But I have some event items that drop 2200-2800 coins per round.

Not to mention some Main Storyline Goals are monstrous drains, like the Skunkupine (500k coins!) or the Baron's Birthday (1M coins I think!) The two big "upgrade" quests are likewise time and money sinks. (Only one of the buildings actually Needs an upgrade to level 5 for a different quest.) So I had to choose to leave some quests hanging undone in my kingdom log, which made me twitch, lol.

I won't argue that being Level 50 and having heavier requirements for events feels taxing. (I was still getting "low" requirements at 42, can't recall when I switched to high.) But levelling up affects two things up front: more energy per two hours and more farming plots. By level 19 you have reached the highest automatic energy refill per two hours, which is 40. Farming plots increase by 1 every level from 9 to 29, taking you from 30 to 50 plots. The final 10 plots trickle in from levels 30 to 50, with 60 total.

And certain quests have level requirements. Advanced questlines kick in at level 30+.

Teika's advice is solid. The two Wizard Schools bought with gems are the BEST investment you can make in this game, and I say that as someone who spends more time than RL cash. They start out dropping 6 energy every 5 hours, and you can level them up until they drop 10 energy every 4 hrs 20 mins. It's priceless.

A CRUCIAL item for getting Trade Tickets (to at least save for your Tinker Camp and Chateau) is DON'T PICK GLIMMERBULBS, i.e., Magic Garden Storyline. The easiest/cheapest trade, 25 Strawberries and 5 Sugar, goes away when you get glimmerbulbs, and then another is removed later (probably due to Magic Fruit.) Avoid harvesting a Glimmerbulb and work the basic Fruit Trade as long as you can!

I still haven't bought the Cabbage Hut yet, but from reading the monthly threads it seems that fewer good droppers are on there. I could be wrong. I ended up spending gems on some cheap half-price Doorbuster alicorns (aquatic and aquamarine), with small (4+) energy drops *daily* (and occasional windfalls), which worked with my budget and play style. Until Black Friday when I went berserk and bought many things, lol.

It's a fun game and great community, I hope you enjoy it!

For those that got the Banshee, are the drops worth it? I try to get everything that drops expansion permits/trade tickets but i'm 20-some yellow fairie thingies short. It's available in my Atrium until 6 pm and I would be willing to buy gems to get it, if you all think it's worth it...?

Well, unbeknownst to me, placing the Victorian Garden, which I did because it gives 155 Royal points, gives Glimmerbulbs, so now I lost that cheapest trade that you were telling me about. :( fortunately, I do have a couple accounts, so I will not make the same mistake on the otherone. But I really want those points. LOL!

Then I had a rollback and I had a mini heart attack, tapped the banshee again and it still dropped an expansion permit the second time (to clarify I didn't get two expansion permits though as I lost the first one from the rollback but at least I still got it unlike the usual rollback where it would just drop another thing)

Banshee definitely is one of the items I would always tap 😆
