Game rolled back and took my petals. The rollback put one of my larkspur bushes into storage (but why??!), left three of the bushes collected from but allowed me to collect from the other three again which only gave me 1 petal (same as first time I collected before the rollback) and canceled the craft I had started.
Also noticed a hide is missing.

On goal two it says gather pink leather from cows.

4 black and white cows gave me 4 pink leathers

1 royal cow gave me 1 normal hide
Bride cow first collection gave me 0 hides (regular or pink)

You also have to collect from rocket larkspurs, bushes count also. 6 bushes gave me two of the event drop flowers.

Pretty ticked off at the resets...I collected in error earlier from mines, so I gemmed to collect. I got the drop, started the Workshop, logged out. Came back to find there was a reset....and it reset to where I spent gems but hadn't collected. At the redo I didn't get the item. S8 is not inspiring me to purchase...I was debating getting the Value Pack so I wouldn't have to try to log in every 2 hours but now I just don't care.

They couldn’t see the Muddling that ambushed them. :blue:

The girl dancers are definitely aren’t different people.

I do wish they’d changed him slightly more - with a beard or something.

I got the dialoge with goals chopping Trees, collecting from Ivy and making wig

I chop Trees, collect from Ivy ... Both were checked off ✔️

I starting making the wig.

I visited the game several Times since then... no problems

Now i visited the game again and ???

The dialog starts again... Chopping Trees still checked off, but collecting from Ivy not while my wig is ready so i collected !!!!

Now i have to wait 5 hours to collect from Ivy again and then i can move on in to the next goal whilst the wig is ready and collected !!!

I can cry right now! Honestly!

So sorry this happened to you unfortunately it happens far too many times and they never fix it. The other day I collected from the barracks and got a fangbeast and was very happy. Collected from other things and luckily I saw the game had reset (I often only realize HOURS after it happens) when I collected again I got a dire boar trap which is the one I have the most of. Not only do they reset the game and it?s progress but they STEAL your energy that you used. The resets are sometimes so bad I seriously consider deleting the game and not looking back

Just collected from the Romantic Dancers and they dropped 10,075 coins. Finally a rare prize with the possibility of a great drop.

I only received a measly 90 coins from my first collection. And a black flag for simple feast. Not impressed. :(

Anyone else having problems with pink hide drops? It seems as if they completely stopped! Is it just bad luck, or a problem? Shhhh, it's Saturday...long 2 days until S8 is available to look at this ☹️. Wish they had a skeleton crew on for a 24/7/365 game.

Glad people are getting the adventure prize. I have never gotten one, and only once got an Ivy drop months ago, so I don't rely at all on adventures...but I still try....hope springs eternal!

I was able to accumulate 29 gold Bobby pins when chopping for all 440 needles. Enough fangbeasts showed up after getting about 300 so I parked a cat while getting the rest.

I sent 6 adventures (used gems from MH to get the last one). No dancers. I did get 3 of the Ivy drops so I'm lucky enough to be 6 hours from upgrading to level 4.

The hide drops are definitely low.

But that isnt a spreadsheet. Love the fact copy and paste from previous event works but relying on pen and paper makes working with Excel easier

Has anyone else notice when we go on the adventure, Go Speed Dancing, that no hair glue is amongst the items? I just receive one of each: heart shape leaf, pink wrap, and pink hide. The last three adventures never gave me the ivy hut or troll camp item. Just the ones that were in abundance or easy to get. Disappointing. I think just got the bonus twice in all the adventures we have had in 5 yrs. Hoops folks the biscuits are getting smaller or not worth it. Now, even the royal exchange and adventures are more chintzy than when I first started.

I have received one hair glue so far from the adventures, and I started late (tuckered out from MH). I rely very much on the adventure drops to finish early or at least catch up. They aren't guaranteed, of course, but I always get at least two over the course of an event, and w Ivy drops, that's a whole day. I only received the super duper prize twice in years of play, so I don't pay any attn to that. Expectation management/reality check. : ) If I get it I get it.

Anyone remember the goode olde days when fruit trees dropped event items too? : ) Would LOVE for that to come back!

Dailies often, as M'77 points out in other threads, drop other cool stuff besides energy. Weeklies are less demanding, pastured for a week and not needing daily strokes. Dailies drop about 92% (after accounting for the 7 per week to use them) of a weekly energy dropper, plus their additional goodies. Either way, we win! Yay! But likely to be a weekly as a grand prize. As an aside, the rainbow alicorns we get from making a gajillion elven trades for gold runes - they sometimes drop rainbow pots, which you can keep for deco or bust open for awesome goodies, incl the occasional expansion permit. Dailies and weeklies are both awesome. I am always happy to have more! : )

Do you guys have any other go-to fang beast spawners besides the crates? I have all the needles I need so it just feels like a huge waste of energy to keep chopping those for the chance of fang beasts. I have also been using minks to moderate success.

Dancers appeared unexpectedly in my realm. ❤️ (Only my second-ever rare Adventure drop! Both times dropped when I was not anticipating. ) Adventure finished while thinking about next chores and there they were. 🥰 I'll have to try (almost) completely spacing on the game while cleaning more often!

I'd defeated a Fangbeast, collected from shoppe, then whacked at a Seamstress Crate twice and scooted to another area of my realm to check if Workshop was finished- then poof! Reload and Fangbeast was back, no energy, and needles were gone. I upgraded Shoppe since then, will keep a close eye for any more rollbacks.

I hadn't had any bad rollbacks (just snap-backs of reset progress and energy) for a while, hope there's nothing amiss! 😥❤️

I've just been using "snapback" to refer to when the game suddenly 'snaps' backwards, the image jitters back with no loading screen, and it's a perfect reset where the actions are undone completely (creatures/buildings become clickable again, inventory resets, but you also get the energy back!) - annoying but less severe, as it's A Complete Rollback, backwards in time~ Rollback seems like it could apply to a variety of circumstances with either partial incomplete game resets or the complete version, with loading screen included? Sort of a longer, laggy, imperfect reset? Arbitrary difference to be sure, and definitely not universally used terms, but sometimes it seemed more snappy than laggy so I've used and said both. 😅

Yess! I'm still slogging through the Academy so trees are no problem.

Good luck finishing the Academy I KNOW you are enjoying having to cut down all those trees for hearts to get benefits from more than one quest/ story lines. I remember what a pain that was. I hope they give us more academy scrolls for the next one or it would be awesome to trade all those useless crowns. Maybe trade 50 or 100 crowns for one freaking scroll. It would be worth it

According to beast nugget #5, fangbeast can spawn from - Cows, Chickens, Pigs, Mink, Swan, Hot Pepper, Carrot, Trees, Stables, Hatchery, Farmhouses, Fangbeast Trap, Glimmeregg Bunny, Season 5 Training Dummy, Shih Tzu, Ugly Goose, Lair of Beasts

I've had them from wheat too I think? My go-to usually is lair of beasts, trees or minks/swans, and lastly, cows. If the event has a creature spawn from farmhouses, I usually avoid them because I feel like I get more of the other creature and waste more energy defeating the wrong beast. Good luck.:)

I concur! The format is so common it's become a bit boring, but right now I consider that an advantage. I'm working on the final upgrade already, so it's basically only a question of waiting for Ivy and collecting a few times a day so I won't have to babysit the game towards the end in order to reach the 1,000 (?) stitched hearts. I'm in full on busy season at work so I'm really happy about a relaxed event.

I don't care about the special adventure drop at all, so I'm not chopping extra Seamstress Crates to try to get them. Doesn't seem worth the stress at all!

Yup, missin' those academy scrolls!

I find the predictability - and DO-ability! - a relief. If the events weren't so constant I wouldn't need the emotional break from uncertainty and pressure. But that's me. Other people have equally valid experiences. : )

BUT: rollbacks, setbacks, resets - however you call the different varieties - ergh! Can't imagine anyone enjoying them! Worst when the resources are lost, for sure! and still awful when trying to keep a set of items on a timer or set something to craft. I can't tell you how many times my 12 hour group has been mucked about by silent resets so they are out of synch, for instance. It seems something S8 can fix, right? Empathy to all for these experiences... esp when it's Ivy's hut. : (

I just has something weird happen. I had collected two of the faerie chests and went to put them on the board. First one came up on top of a seamstress crate and as I went to move it, it disappeared and both were gone from storage. Did a force quit but nothing changed. So I went to get the four plant in a log to get the third chest, placed two and the third wouldn’t place. Nothing on square but it showed red as did the one next to it. Tapped on those two empty looking but red squares and the faerie chest faeries appeared like a chest had been opened. New challenge of invisible items?

Rollbacks while you are playing is something you can fix, but when you leave the app, even without closing it, you have no idea it even occurred. To prevent this in my game, I make sure I visit someone, neighbors or community, before leaving the game. I haven’t had a problem with things resetting when I go back. I know a lot of people have issues with visiting, though.

Main place to get hearts is the wig shop. The more you upgrade it the better.
In addition to the chests, you can trade faeries from the chests for 3 hearts.
Another option is to fight the Alley Cats from the farm houses. The hearts are a random drop when you are fighting.

Main place to get hearts is the wig shop. The more you upgrade it the better.
In addition to the chests, you can trade faeries from the chests for 3 hearts.
Another option is to fight the Alley Cats from the farm houses. The hearts are a random drop when you are fighting.

I have been extremely lucky this time with the adventure drops. It started like always with the first glue on the 4th adventure.
To my surprise I got another one on the next adventure, then the dancing couple and another hair glue on the next. I haven't had the special prize in so long I can't remember. What a pity it only drops coins. Don't even see a black flag.
In total I have 5 hair glues from the adventure. Nearly fell off my chair. So the luck comes around eventually.

My drops of hearts seem really low compared to my previous scores. I'm at 480, and usually much further at this stage. I have 5 days so not a problem as I will make my last wig today. My Ivy pickups have gotten a bit late!

They spawn from chopping the Seamstress Crate. (which you need anyway if you're participating in the event)
Or from tending to animals, Farmhouses, Hatchery, Stable, chopping trees..

I won the knight in shining armor, placed in my kingdom & now he?s disappeared. Anyone else have this problem?

Maybe you had a roll-back? Is the Goal still completed?
Try to force-close and double check your inventory and realm.
If it's still not there and the goal is completed, I think you should contact S8 customer support. https://support.storm8.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
They can usually help with that sort of problems.

Fangbeasts rarely show when you need them especially in monster hunts. I was getting quite a few from the boxes

Make sure you don't have a beast spawned elsewhere.
If you haven't been collecting from Ivy, I don't think you would be able to finish. But I'm just guessing at stuff here.
Obviously I don't know all the details of your situation.

I've only noticed coins from the Wig Station, I wasn't planning to craft one originally (for the same reasons 😥 ) but decided to make it after seeing a helpful post from the 5th (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?111881-Castle-Story-1-28-A-Dating-Dilemma-event-information-on-page-1&p=1641547&viewfull=1#post1641547) - I had been gathering faerie chests just through normal gameplay and would have just made coins otherwise to avoid useless chests post-event so didn't have to do anything special. Unfortunately, for those just finding out, probably too late to craft casually if coins are of interest- wish we'd gotten official heads up along with the rest of the Event info! 😥

An official heads up of ALL items' drops (both during Event and planned post-Event drops) provided along with the usual Event info would be extremely helpful. 🙃

Pretty handy if you need coins.

Mine ended up in storage cause I liked the design of the handmade shoes more.
But if ever need coins again I’ll whip it out.
(unlikely cause I have 93million+ coins currently)

I almost didn?t make the Faerie prizes either this event, because I thought they were all deco only. (Which would have been such a shame, because I really like them, even without drops)

I completed the even and placed Diana on my board yesterday. When I logged in today she has disappeared and is not in storage.
I put a ticket into Storm8.
Has this happed to anyone else?
