The bathers show up in newspapers now so don?t give up. Get at least the macaque in the tub and absolutely do Not give it a bather. The macaque will disappear.

There will not be one until this current event is over, as there is still 4 days left. So we will not see any type of new event, leaderboard or otherwise, until about Wednesday. They (to my knowledge - in my almost year of playing) have never done a leaderboard in a middle of an event already going and it being about to end. They have done a leaderboard running next and at the start to an event, but like I said, never in the middle/ almost ending of one.

Keep in mind however, that this is just what I know/believe in my first year of playing. It could've been different a year and a half ago or even a little over a year ago, but not within this last year.

Sorry but do try to read through the thread because in Post 24 it was stated that it was a decoration only after another player asked. But all of us have made these mistakes and the Macaque will likely be put in a future sale.
With less then a day to go, but if you gather the parts from the paper and neighbours you might get close and on each turn in of a Staying Warm Fireside the gem price drops to buy

An exotic pet is a type of pet that is stationary and does not move. You also need to feed them Exotic Pet Feed (Pink bag with the white paw prints on it) and they take 12 hours instead of 6. You get the same rewards however.

I think the Hot Tub and Wooden Tubs are supposed to be animated after the event but they are stationary.
