Getting Started
This section will give you the basics to the game!
Getting Started
Hatching Dragons
In Dragon Story you must put all eggs in a Nest so they can incubate. The first Nest will already be placed on your island for free when you first download the game. You can buy additional nests in the market for Gems (Link Nest Post here). You can get dragons to hatch in several ways, such as breeding, completing goals, finishing events, or buying them in the market. After breeding, you will be able to put your dragon in a nest by clicking on the "Done" button on top of the Breeding Den.
Alternatively, you can buy a dragon from the Market:
1. Click on the "Market" icon in the right hand corner.
2. Click on the "Dragons" section on the left
3. Tap on the Dragon that you would like to buy. (You'll get a card with more information on the Dragon)
4. Click on the "Buy Now" button
5. Tap on the nest that you want to put the Dragon in.
6. Once it is done hatching, there will be an icon above the egg saying that it is done.
Please note that all dragons in the market display as the Baby form, they will change and look different as you feed them. (All dragons have 4 forms).
Building Habitats
In order to place hatch a dragon, you must have an empty spot in a habitat available. The habitat must match with at least one of the elements that you dragon has. (Some habitats may allow two or more types of animals)
To buy a new habitat from the Market, see the following steps:
1. Click on the "Market" icon in the right hand corner.
2. Click on the "Habitats" section on the left
3. Tap on the Habitat that you would like to buy. (You'll get a card with more information on the Habitat)
4. Click on the "Buy Now" button
5. Drag the habitat to where you would like (You can always move it later)
6. Once it is done building, there will be an icon above the habitat saying that it is done.
You can upgrade your habitat over time by clicking on the "Upgrade" button (It will appear after tapping on the habitat you would like to upgrade). Upgrades will allow you to put more dragons in your habitat.
The amount of habitats you can have will depend on your level. You can see how many habitats you can have by clicking on the level icon in the top left corner, or in the item preview card when you are about to buy a habitat.
Feeding Dragons
In Dragon Story, you can level up your dragons up until Level 15 (You need a Noble Crystal to evolve above 10). The amount of food you needed to feed your dragon will depend on the dragon and its level. To upgrade to level 4, level 7, level 10, or level 15 you will need to evolve your dragon. Evolving can be done in the Evolution Temple and will give you more coins per collection.

Currency
There are two types of currency in Dragon Story; Coins and Gold. You can see how much of each currency you have in the top left corner.
Coins
Coins are essential to maintaining your island. They are used for buying things in the market, breeding, healing and much more.
To earn coins, simply click on the "Collect" icon above your dragon habitats. Your dragons earn coins every second, but there is a maximum amount of coins you can collect in one habitat before it stops collecting. You can see what the maximum amount of coins by clicking on the "Info" button after selecting the designated habitat. You can also win coins in other ways, such as for completing goals and the "Volcanic Treasures" quest in the Quest Output.
If you would like to buy coins using Gold, click on the counter in the top left counter.
Gold
Gold is used to buy premium habitats and Dragons in the market. You can also use it to speed up most timers.
You can collect from Gold dragons or receive it from your neighbors as a gift (They can only gift 3 gold a day). You can also earn gold through promotional features, which you can read more about here. (Coming Soon)
If you would like to buy coins using Gold, click on the counter in the top left counter. Make sure to look out for sales which may appear in your game randomly!
Leveling Up
When you do tasks around the Isles, you will earn xp points. By earning enough XP points, you will level up and unlock new features, buildings, dragons, habitats, and more.
You can see your level on top of the star in the top left corner. If you tap on the star, you can see your Island statistics which will let you how much XP points you have in total.
There are 200 levels currently in game.
Expanding
There are three types of expansions in the game: Regular Expansions, Mining Expansions, and the Marble Island. Buying an expansion will allow you to gain access to new areas of the Isles!
To expand your island, click on one of the "Expand" signs in your Dragon Isles or click on the "Expand" button in the Shop.
Regular Expansions
Regular Expansions cost Mystic Maps and coins. The amount of money and Mystic Maps that the expansion costs depends on how many previous expansions you have unlocked. To get Mystic Maps, you can request them from your neighbors or buy them using gold. Some events and goals may also give you Mystic Maps. Once you have finished expanding to new locations, you must clear trees or shrubs before you can place habitats or buildings.
You can only expand to one area at a time.
Mining Expansions
Starting at level 80, players can play the Mining mini-game to find Island Parts, which are used like Mystic Maps to expand on the brand new island to the northwest of the main island, near the Mine. Unlike the normal islands, this new island is built as you expand.

Marble Island
You can use Marble Keys to unlock land in the Marble Island!
Raw Marble:
An abundance of beautiful Raw Marble has risen up from the seafloor with the new island. Baby dragons seem to find them very easily (might have something to do with them being close to the ground). Breeding dragons will help locate these pieces of Raw Marble that can then be used to help explore the new location by turning them into Marble Keys!
Marble Keys:
It seems that some archaic magic resides deep within the marble stone of the new island. When formed together and imbuded with magic, the marble seems to help expand the floating bridge and clear the untamed forest from a Caretaker's path. Collect Raw Marble and head over to the Spell Shop to create your own Marble Keys and go claim your Island!

Storm8 Account / Account Transfer
Storm8 Account
To add neighbors and be able to save your account, you must create a Storm8 Account. To create a Storm8 ID open the Social page from the Menu and tap the Invite tab. If you already have a Storm8 ID it will be displayed at the top of the page. If you do not have a Storm8 ID, you will have to sign up for one. Your ID will be publicly displayed on the forums and you will be able to use it to add neighbors.
To set a password for recovery of your games in case you lose it, click on the "S8" button the top right corner and then on "Account Settings." From there, follow the steps to choose your password. This will also be the password you can use to login to the forums. You can use this process to also reset your password if you forget it.
Account Transfer
You can use the login feature to sign into your account in Dragon Story. This feature will also allow you to play on more than one device!
1. Click on the "S8" icon in the top right corner.
2. Click on "Account Settings"
3. Click on "Log in to Another Account" and then type in your account information for the account that you would like to login to. (If you forget the password, you can contact support at support.storm8.com (https://support.storm8.com))

4. Click on the "Log in" button and confirm the account transfer.
Once you have finished logging in, all of your other Storm8 games will also transfer to the games stored under this account besides Home Design Makeover and Property Brothers Home Design.

Social Features
Community
The Community is composed of everyone who plays Dragon Story. You can help members of the Community by visiting their islands or writing an encouraging comment on their walls. To find members of the Community, visit the Social page from the Main Menu and tap the Community tab. From here you can view a list of several Community members and go to their islands by tapping the Visit button.
When you visit another player's islands, you can play with the dragons there. This grants those dragons' Caretaker with bonus experience and coins and will increase your Social Rating. Your Social Rating is displayed at the bottom of the island you are visiting and can range from 0 eggs to a full 4 eggs. A higher Social Rating increases your chances of appearing at the top of the Community list when other players are looking for someone to visit. Keep in mind that you can only play with a limited number of dragon habitats at each player you visit per day, so if you want to get a Social Rating of 4, you will need to help several Community members or Neighbors.
You can view your own wall by going to Main Menu>Overview>Wall.
Inviting Friends
You can become Neighbors with your friends from other Storm8 Studios and Storm8 games or become Neighbors with Community members you've met in Dragon Story. A Neighbor is similar to a Community member but you can send them gifts, and play with more dragons at their islands each visit. To become Neighbors you need to follow these easy steps:
Step 1: select Social from the Main Menu, tap the Invite tab and signup for a Storm8 ID if you haven't already.
Step 2: tap the empty box next to the "Friend's Storm8 ID" text, enter your friend's Storm8 ID, and tap Invite.
You have now invited someone to be your Neighbor. They won't show up as your Neighbor until they accept the invite.
Likewise, other players can invite you to be their Neighbor using your Storm8 ID. To see if someone has invited you to become their Neighbor, select Social and tap the Invite tab. Neighbor Requests that you have received will be displayed and you can either accept or decline them.
Giving Gifts
To give a Gift to another player, you must first add them as a Neighbor. You can then send a Gift either directly through the Neighbors page by tapping the Gift button next to their name or by visiting a Neighbor's island and then tapping the Gift icon on the right side of the screen. When you send a gift, you are not giving up items you already have, and it doesn't cost anything. It is like buying your friends presents for completely free! Your friends will surely appreciate that and return the favor! You can give up to 3 gold a day. If you pick more than 3 neighbors to give gold to, the game will randomly select 3 people. The gift timer resets at 12 AM PT.
Receiving Gifts
To give a Gift to another player, you must first add them as a Neighbor. You can then send a Gift either directly through the Neighbors page by tapping the Gift button next to their name or by visiting a Neighbor's island and then tapping the Gift icon on the right side of the screen. When you send a gift, you are not giving up items you already have, and it doesn't cost anything. It is like buying your friends presents for completely free! Your friends will surely appreciate that and return the favor! You can receive up to 20 gold per day. The gift timer resets at 12 AM PT.
Blocking Feature
If you want someone to no longer be able to comment on your wall, find a message they sent there and click on the "X" button. Then, you can click on the "Block" button and they will no longer be able comment on your wall and all of their messages will be deleted from your wall.
You can unblock people by going to Main Menu>Settings>Block List>Manage
Arctic Isles
Welcome to the Arctic Isles, Caretakers! The expansion update is live: a new island, dozens of exclusive dragons, new features, quests, and one enormous dragon to awaken from his icy slumber! Update now and check out my overview of all the new features!
1. Unlocking the Arctic Isles, and the Arctic Airship
Players levels 35 and higher can unlock the Arctic Isles by breeding an Ice Age Dragon! Once the breeding has finished, you'll be prompted by Freza (a new character!) to jump aboard the Arctic Airship to take the frozen egg to the new world for incubation! Breeding an Ice Age dragon isn't too tough, just combine a purple colored dragon with a Winter Dragon and see what happens!
The Arctic Airship is your ticket back and forth between the Dragon Isles and the Arctic Isles. Once you've unlocked the new world, you can always click on the airship and travel from one world to the next!
2. Glacius, the Ancient
Frozen atop the Arctic Isles, Glacius the Ancient awaits Caretakers who have proven their worth in this cold and magical new world. Collect 9 unique dragons from the Arctic Isles and evolve them to level 10 to awaken him!
Collecting the dragons and earning Glacius the Ancient works just like an award in the Album. You can track your progress by clicking on Glacius, and once you've completed the objective simply click "Awaken" and watch him burst free from the ice!
Glacius doesn't produce coins, you don't have to feed or evolve him, and he can't breed or be traded. He is the ultimate achievement in Dragon Story!

3. New Dragon Types
There are three new dragon types in the Arctic Island: Ice Age Dragons, Blizzard Dragons, and Abominable Dragons. We are releasing three dragons in each type at the launch of the Arctic Isles expansion, but more dragons are coming to join their friends in each of the new habitats.

Unlike dragons from the Dragon Isle's, Arctic Isle dragons produce special parts instead of coins. Each type produces a unique part, and these parts are essential to Caretaker success in the new world. These parts can be crafted into the egg-warming Mystic Flames!

4. Mystic Flames and the Frozen Nest
In this cold world, dragon eggs need extra warmth to incubate before they can be hatched. Instead of just waiting for a timer to run down, players can now manually warm frozen eggs with Mystic Flames to hatch them much faster than ever before.
Since eggs are bred frozen in the Arctic Isles, you won't see which dragon egg you've bred until you've warmed it most of the way to hatching, but you'll see a little baby peek out along the way!
Mystic Flames is a new currency that can be crafted at a new building called the Fire Mill. This building works just like the Dragon Isle's Spell Shop; you collect parts and combine them together to make something new.
Like growing food, crafting Mystic Fire can be done in small, fast, cheap batches, or larger, slower, more expensive batches. Parts produced by Ice Age dragons, which are called Ancient Oil, are the easiest to obtain and are thus required for the easiest Mystic Fire recipes. Since Abominable type dragons require Ice Age dragons to discover, their parts, Flammable Fur, are harder to come by, and are required in the more efficient recipes for crafting Mystic Flames.
5. Silos
We've introduced 2 storage-like silo buildings with the Arctic Isles: the Fire Crucible and the Silo. The Fire Crucible stores your collection of Mystic Flames, while the Silo stores the ingredients you collect from your new dragons. Each of these buildings has a maximum capacity that can be raised by upgrading the building. You can check in the Silo to see how many of each part you've collected so far!

6. Breeding
While it's too cold here for dragons from your original island to be comfortable, they can fly over for a quick stop in the Breeding Den. A few of the dragons in the Arctic Isles require a color from the original island to be bred. Dragons from those islands appear in one of the columns when you're selecting dragons to breed. As soon as breeding is finished however, dragons will return to their habitats on their home islands.
7. Frozen Food
Arctic Isle dragons eat Arctic Isle food, and you can grow it in the Frozen Farm and Large Frozen Farm. Feed your chilly dragons Abominapples and Spicicles and watch them grow! Your food total displayed on the top of your screen will only display food from the island you're currently viewing. Coins and Gold work across all your islands though, so those numbers will always be the same!

The Battle Arena!
Players levels 30+ can enter the Battle Arena and select a dragon to compete against the displayed opponent.
Several factors determine the strength of your dragon, including level, rarity, colors, and opponent's colors. I'll leave it up to you to determine which color combinations are strongest against which!
During a Dragon Battle, players can select from 3 attacks each turn. The battle is turn-based, meaning your opponent will only attack after you do. Every dragon has a magic attack corresponding to their primary element (each with a unique particle effect!), a bash attack, and the Ultimate Attack.

The Magic and Bash attacks are your primary weapons. The Ultimate Attack costs gold and does massive damage. This is for players who want to pay to assure victory.
Losing a match will Exhaust your dragon. Exhausted Dragons can be healed with the new Healing Spring Building available in the Market. While exhausted, dragons cannot participate in breeding, trading, evolving, questing, or battling. They will still produce coins, however.

The new Adventure Leagues can be accessed through the new Adventure League building found on the cliff near the starting location, or through the new HUD button. Adventure League events will be reoccurring, so you'll almost always be able to partake in the fun! The more points you win, the higher the League you'll be placed in. Adventure Leagues have brand new prizes like SPEED BOOSTS for your Farms, Breeding Dens, and Evolution Temple. Bingo Challenges
Each board has 16 challenges to pick from. You select one challenge at a time to complete. Come back to collect your Adventure Points once you've finished the challenge. Finishing 4 challenges in a line will earn you a BINGO! Bingos award you a lot of points and give you a new set of 16 challenges. If you're clever, you can line up two, or THREE lines in a row for a double or TRIPLE BINGO!

If there's a challenge on your board that you'd like to change, you can start the challenge and then tap the "x" button next to the timer to cancel it. After a period of time, a new challenge will appear in it's place!

Each time you complete a challenge or successfully get a Bingo, you will be awarded Adventure Points. Challenges are worth different amounts of Adventure Points, so keep your eye out for the big payouts! Adventure Points will help increase your ranking each event. The higher you rank, the better prizes you receive, and the changes of you being promoted to a higher league!

Dragon Codex / Dragon Trading
The Dragon Codex is an excellent way to keep track of your dragon collection! Use it to see what dragons you have and which you want to obtain next. By using a dragon's Essence, you can craft nearly any dragon available in the game!
Almost every dragon can be found and created with enough Essence from the Codex!
Essence: To attract the new dragons you're looking to collect to your Island you'll need some Essence. When a caretaker and dragon develop a bond, the Essence of that love stays behind even if the dragon leaves to see other parts of the world and help other caretakers with their islands. New dragons will be attracted to the amount of Essence left behind and want to join you on your Island.
To part ways with a dragon a caretaker will head over to the Dragon Portal and send them off onto their own adventure. The dragon will leave the caretaker and Island but leave behind some Essence. You can then go to the Codex, select a new dragon, and if you have enough Essence, craft it!
You can go to the Dragon Codex by clicking on the Main Menu and then on "Codex." Click on a dragon to see more information on it and to see if you can either buy it with gold or craft it with Essence.

Goals
You are not alone on the islands. The wise Dragon Mother and her assistants Rex, Anona, and Klaus are there to help. The scroll on the screen has goals for the islands that they needs help with. By completing goals, you will earn rewards. These rewards can be Gold, coins, experience, and new decorations!
When you tap the scroll, there will be a list of all your current goals. New goals will appear as you level up or complete previous goals. The rewards can be seen on the right side. Tapping a goal shows you all the things you need to do to complete that goal. There can be up to 3 tasks. Some goals are multi-part. To get the item reward, you must complete all parts of that goal and fill the entire line leading up to the prize.
There is often a button by a task that will take you to the right place to complete it. Next to that, you may see a "Skip" button. If you'd rather not do the task, but still want the prize, you can press Skip and use gems to mark the task completed without having to do it.
Permanent Goals
Permanent Goals are goals that are part of the game storyline. These will appear as you level up and continue to grow your island. They are permanent, so you have no time limit to complete them!
Limited Time Goals
Some events may have limited time goals. You can see how long you have to complete them in the main goals page. After the timer expires, there will be no way to complete these.
Mining
At level 45, your Evolution Temple will start dropping Bombs that you can use to mine for dragon crafting parts. At level 80, your Breeding Den will start dropping Dynamite that you can use to mine for Island Blocks to expand your Isles.
To mine for crafting parts, tap the mine and then the 'Mine for Dragons' side. If you don't have Bombs from your Evolution Temple, you will be able to use Gold to get more. Once you're inside the mine, tap the rock wall to look for parts. Each tap will tell you how close you are to finding something: Very Near, Near, or Too Far. Keep tapping and find as many parts as you can before you run out of moves. The first two times you run out of moves, you can use another Bomb to refill your moves and keep mining. Once you've found enough parts, you can craft an exclusive dragon. The dragon you can mine for and part you need will change every event! Check the Dragon Story: Discussions forum thread on the monthly event for more information on the current Dragon Mining event.
To mine for Island Blocks, tap the mine and enter the Mine for Land side. If you don't have Dynamite from your Breeding Den, you will be able to use Gold to get more. The game works in the same way, but the parts you find can be used to expand to new Isles. You can expand by building your new island once you have enough parts. The first square of the new island is just outside the entrance of the Mine.

Dragon Quest: Mapping the Island
Select a dragon of the required species and send it on its way! The dragon will return after the allotted time with treasure from its journey!
You'll always get a reward from the Dragon Quest, but each quest offers a specific rare reward. For example, if you send an Island Dragon on the quest "Mapping The Island", you have a chance at finding a Mystic Map, but you might find Food or Coins a few times instead, before you get the reward displayed on the Dragon Quest.
Pretty easy, right? Get the dragon required for a quest, send it out into the world, then it comes back with treasure--hopefully the treasure you were seeking!

What level does a dragon have to be in order to go on Dragon Quests?
Dragons of any level can go on dragon quests so long as they are the right species for the quest. Each Dragon Quest requires a different dragon.
Do I have to expand to the Quest Outpost in order to go on Dragon Quests?
Nope! You do not have to expand to the Quest Outpost in order to access it. You might want to anyway though, to surround it with hedges and flowers of all colors, in celebration of your dragon's accomplishments.[/QUOTE]

The Breeding Den is a lovely place to start a new dragon family.

At level 5, you can build a Breeding Den. The Breeding Den lets you select pairs of dragons to breed new dragon eggs! This is another way to get new dragons besides buying eggs from the market. You'll want to try all sorts of different combinations and see what new dragons you create. A pair doesn't create the same dragons every time either, so be sure to try again! For example, a red and green dragon normally breed to create a Life Dragon, but I hear there's a rare red and green hybrid than you could also get.
You'll find the Breeding Den in the Market's Buildings section. To use your Breeding Den, follow these steps.
Step 1: tap your Breeding Den.
Step 2: tap on a dragon in the left column and a different dragon in the right column. A dragon must be at least level 4 to breed. Please note the dragons will move from their habitats to the Breeding Den.
Step 3: tap on breed. This will require a small amount of coins.
Step 4: the breeding will take some time. You can choose to finish now, or come back when the breeding is complete.
Step 5: return to the finished Breeding Den. Tap it to get your new egg, then tap an empty nest to place the egg in.
Each breed costs 200 coins.
You can also buy a Boosted Breed for 12 gold which will increase your chances at getting rarer Dragons!

As your dragons are feed and get stronger, at certain points food will no longer be enough. A dragon will need to spend some time in the Evolution Temple to grow to its next stage. You can buy an Evolution Temple for your islands from the Market's Buildings section.
To put a dragon into the Evolution Temple, first you must feed it until the Feed button is replaced by the Evolve button. You can then tap Evolve, or select the dragon by tapping the Evolution Temple. You will see your dragon go into a crystal cocoon on top of the Temple. It will take some time for the evolution to take place, but you can always finish it instantly with Gold by tapping your Evolution Temple and tapping Finish.
Once the dragon is ready, tap the Evolution Temple and your newly evolved dragon will be returned to its habitat.

Monthly Event
Every month there is a month-long event where you have to play events to win prizes! Throughout the month, you will earn a special item from completing events, completing battles, and more.
You will also be able to buy a boost which will give you a certain amount of the items every 8 hours.
Once you collect 25,000 items, you can craft your special dragon from the Spell Shop!
Mining Dragon
Aligned with the monthly event, there is also a dragon that you can win from winning Minerals from mining on the left side of the mine with bombs. The minerals will look the same but will have a different name so they can be identified from the previous ones.
Once you collect 100 minerals, you can craft your dragon from the Spell Shop!
Battle Arena Dragon
Alligned with both events, there will be a battle arena event that goes on all month long. This is not the same thing as the Tournament. In Battle Arena events, you will earn a badge every time you complete any battle in the Battle Arena. The badges will look the same but will have a different name so they can be identified from the previous ones.
Once you collect 100 Badges, you can craft your dragon from the Spell Shop.
World Event
In World Events, the whole Dragon Story community collects items from around their Isles to earn individual and community prizes.
While a World Event is active, you can check out its information to see what actions let you earn items.
To see your progress in a World Event, tap its button on the right side of the screen (You might need to scroll). The number on top of the icon will be the amount of points you have in the World Event. This icon may change depending on the event.

Once you collect enough items to earn an individual prize, the next one will unlock. After the Dragon Story community collects enough items to earn a community prize, all players who have collected enough items to be eligible will receive it. All prizes you earn will be placed in your storage.
Dragon Tales Event
The Dragon Tales Event is a fun way of earning new Dragons for your Island, while also learning more about the lore of your Island!

When the Dragon Tales Event starts you will notice the Dragon Tales Archive Building on your Island. Tap on it to start your Dragon Tales Event!
Complete ALL Chapters of the Dragon Tales earn beautiful new Dragons and Decorations!
A new Chapter will unlock each day of the Event and includes multiple tasks to complete. Carefully read the tasks and complete them to earn the rewards.
Tip! Some rewards give you Parts or gameplay elements that may be required for Crafts in future Chapters.

Leaderboard Events
Leaderboard events will ask players to compete with their friends and other community members in a friendly and fun competition! During a limited-time leaderboard event, players will vie for incredible prizes by completing various tasks to earn leaderboard points. Don't worry about competing against players with a higher level than you! We'll pair you with community players who are similar to you so there?s no need to be intimidated! Remember, smaller ranked groups of players of similar level ranges means more winners and more prizes!
How you earn points can change from event to event. One event may require you to breed and hatch dragons to earn points while another may have you harvesting crops from your farms and feeding your dragons. Make sure to check the Info during the event to learn the specific details!
In order to earn more points during the short event period, you may acquire Boosts to tip the scales in your favor! Boosts will multiply the number of event points you earn for a limited amount of time. At the end of the event, the leaderboard rankings will dictate which players are the victors and which rare and exclusive prizes they will earn.
Prizes! There are different ways to earn prizes during leaderboard events. We've discussed prizes at the end of an event from your ranking but you'll also hit milestone amounts of points and earn useful items during the event. For example, you may earn a bundle of food when you've earned 100 points and another great prize at 500 points. The final milestone prize will always be worth working for. Perhaps it will be a dragon! In order to earn a prize you have to collect at least 10 points, so players with fewer points won't get a prize!
A wondrous wheel of prizes will frequently appear for players to aid in your progress and boost your rank! You may get bundles of additional leaderboard points, gold, coins, food, and much more! Check back often to spin the wheel and continue to climb the leaderboards to the top!

Global Leaders! Now you can compete against the best in the new Global Leaderboard! To be eligible for the global rankings, you must first obtain 1,000 Leaderboard Points.
Compete against other Caretakers for a chance to win many prizes, including GOLD!
Any eligible action will count for both your Local and Global leaderboard totals!
Spin to Win
Spin-to-Win events allow you to spin a wheel and get a free prize every 22 hours!

Why Can't I Place a Dragon in a Habitat?
There can be two reasons a dragon can't be placed in a habitat. First, the habitat already has as many dragons as it can hold. In this case, you'll either want to build a new habitat, or upgrade it if you can.
The second reason is that the habitat is not an appropriate color for your dragon. Dragons can only live in a habitat than share a color with it. For example, a Forest Dragon is green and therefore needs a Green Grove habitat. A Life Dragon is red and green, and could live in a Red Rocks or a Green Grove habitat.
You can check the colors of a habitat by tapping its Info button or by looking in the market. Look at the colored gem symbols under the habitat image. To check the colors of a dragon, you can tap the habitat it is in, and tap its button, or look in the market, and again look for the colored gems.
How Can I get a Specific Dragon from the Breeding Den?
Creating new dragon eggs is a magical process and it can't be controlled perfectly. It's best to try different combinations of dragons, and trying each one more than once. The same combinations can often produce more than one new egg, with some being rare than others. The colors of the dragons put into the Breeding Den can be passed on to the new egg. When you have hybrid dragons (ones with 2 colors), try putting them into the Breeding Den. You might get a special or rare outcome!
If you want to get a specific dragon, you can always visit the Market and buy the egg you want!
How Can I Get More Gold?
You can get more Gold by tapping the Add button (a '+' symbol) next to the Gold icon at the top of the screen. Once you tap this Add button, you will be able to select from several Gold offers available for purchase.
You can also get Gold from your friends as a gift! See "SOCIAL FEATURES" for information about how to add friends and receive gifts. Send your friends Gold and they will return the favor.
How Do I Increase my Level?
To increase you're level, you have to earn experience points. There are a number of ways you can do this.
- Hatching dragon eggs.
- Building a new habitat, building, or decoration.
- Clear foliage on your island.
- Harvesting a crop from your farms.
- Completing goals.
How Do I Move Items?
Items can be moved by tapping the item and then tapping the Move icon from the menu. You can drag the item to a new position and tap the green check mark when its in an eligible place that you're happy with.
To move a dragon from one habitat to another appropriate one, tap the first habitat, then the button for the dragon you'd like to move. You'll see a Move Habitat button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Tap that, then tap the new destination habitat!
How Do I Sell Items?
If you would like to sell an item, tap it and then tap the Move icon from the menu. While in this mode, there will be a Sell button in the bottom right. Be careful before you decide to sell anything though, you may have to work hard to get it again, and some rewards you won't be able to win a second time.
To sell a dragon, select the habitat it is in, then select the dragon's button. You'll see a Sell button in the bottom right.
Please note that a habitat with dragons can't be sold until all the dragons in it are sold first.

Basic Troubleshooting
Here are a few tips you can try if you are having in-game issues before creating a bug thread or contacting support. If all fail, feel free to create a thread. (Please try to make sure someone else has not already opened a thread on the topic already)
- Force closing out of the game and reopening it
- Closing out background apps
- Creating storage if you have none available.
- Restarting your device
- Reinstalling the game or clearing cache if on Andriod. (This will only fix graphical issues, like for example an egg appearing as a black square)

Re:Facebook -- This isn't a bug. We intentionally don't use Facebook connect in the game, but it hasn't been fully removed. Plans can change, it's easier to update something than put it back if you cut it.
