If I don't collect from the crop before the event is over, will I be able to leave them as is, (after said event is over) as long as I don't collect from them? Will they remain as is and not disappear?

Okay first thing first, whoever designed this event please pat yourself on the back. All the items & materials are just gorgeous!

It would be nice if after the event the crops remained as decorations so it doesn't get accidentally harvested.

In my personal opinion, it's too red for my liking so I'm leaving it in storage if it's a final prize that I reach. It wouldn't look good on my farm.

If you can't grow anything in the seasonal plots you can force close using the following steps on an iOS device:

Devices without a home button:
1. Swipe up to the halfway point
2. Pause for a second
3. Scroll up on the farm story 2 app preview

I was wrong! Luckily I was just speculating and not hoping, but it's just a decoration. Slightly disappointed, I wished it was an exotic. I think it would been better if it was.

Gems, people selling there stuff, and having a few farms planting the extra crops I could use on my main farm where I was doing the goal: so I could have more crops growing while I was waiting for my crops and crafts on my main farm.

Plus, you can sell actual crafts.

Stormie was selling some, specifically the holiday garland.

So I had farms in full circle. Working on crafting towards the end, and also growing crops. Whatever I made, I sold off to my main farm when it was finished.

Also it's a pain the you cannot store the building until after said event is over.

Hopefully in the future, Storm8 will make it storable after you complete said event. Not when it's over, but when you're finished. It's not good that I have to wait almost 2 weeks to be able to store it. So I have a random gingerbread house that looks seriously out of place on my farm until these two weeks are over. I should've just took my time.

I don't know why I was rushing so bad to finish it :confused:

Yes I completed goal 3 and the submitted the garlands and the terrariums. The gingerbread house shows a Christmas bulb and lantern icon but no holiday gift 2.

For a total of 828 plants. This is 138 harvests if you have 6 plots or 104 harvests if you have 8. Given the 1.5 hours to grow, and assuming you want to sleep and don’t miss any harvests while awake, you can have your exotic pet in 13 days if you have 6 plots or 9 days if you have 8.

Glad I ran the numbers. As they would say on Shark Tank, “I’m out!”.
I would love it if you could just keep the gifts to use as decorations and forget about the exotic pet.

Yes, the same thing happened to me in the Winter Revelry quest ... I have posted in the Bugs thread about it! ...... I tried restarting the game but that didn’t work!

The present mimic is an exotic pet, you need to make the green pet feed in the mill that has a flytrap face on it.

The texture changed a few years ago it is now pink. If you don’t see the latest texture, try reinstalling or clearing cache.

I got a pop-up saying the 'Gingerbread House' was on sale thinking it was some new deco but it's the craft building.

What's up with that if most people are doing the event, unless it was meant that the boost was to be on sale. :confused:

Not paying 150 gems to move on with a chance gift 4 wont show up either. will be selling all stocked and finished quest items to help those who can finish. Sad.

I find it very difficult to get the individual parts for completing the tasks. Since the event fields need 1.5 hours to be harvested. You have to play the whole day to get anywhere near it. I will not be able to complete all of the Christmas events within the given period. I find that very frustrating!
