You need to upgrade this as quickly as possible.

Completing each goal you get more candy from the Dispenser.

I can collect six times a day because I am a retired senior citizen so have lots of time!

New event type, trying to find more information but I don’t want to post anything that is not confirmed no the forums.

Here’s the information I have:

In this event you have to earn Candy Handfuls

You 4 Candy Handfuls every 3 hours from the Pumpkin Candy Dispenser

You complete the “Trick or Treat (X/12) goals by turning in Skeleton Candy Bags, Zombie Candy Bags, and Monster Candy Bags.” Completing all 12 goals seems to give you the ship. These three items come from deliveries.

Once you give these items for the goal, it will increase the amount of Candy Handfuls you get for each collection.

Once you get a certain amount of Candy Handfuls you get a reward; the list of rewards is in the “I Want Candy” quest.

At the end of the event, you win a Black Cat for 2100 Candy Handfuls which you can use to craft the pet you want in the Farmer’s Outpost.

What I am not sure is how we get the other items. Maybe we get them for getting 2100 Candy Handful in addition to the Black Cat but we are not sure yet.

Each upgrade goes up by 4 every time i believe. So for completing Goal 1 you get 8 items per 3 hours, for completing goal 2 you get 12, etc

Make sure to look through your goal book. You might need to buy the Candy Dispenser in the market to get the goals to appear.

Assuming

I have logged on using my sons ios phone and the farm has the task 1-12. I then logged into the same farm on my Android and there is no access to said tasks. If the event does show up, its going to be unfair on the Android players as they won't have much time to do it like the ios users

The moderator has contacted Storm8 for a response, but we will have to wait for the morning at minimum to get one. Usuallt Storm8 is good with fixing these type of event bugs and gives some type of item as compensation for the missing time.

I like the Candy Slime but this event requires doing a lot of deliveries which always takes too much time for me, add to that the drop rate is terrible as I'm still on goal 2/12.

The 'pumpkin candy dispenser' is a bit weird looking, being transparent and that face... Would've been better without it.

Im doing it with a very clingy 4mth old baby and an attitude filled teen currently. Its hard esp with having to do all normal house stuff too. Good luck

ooh, interesting event im quite liking it so far, that may change if its requires over 30 deliveries a day, what is annoying me though is each delivery that comes through asks for something from the cafe yet ive only just levelled up to get the building and had to collect a few more coins to be able to buy it and its currently under construction so ive had to delete all my plane deliveries and truck deliveries for about 3 days now bar the odd few :/

This event is too confusing for me, so I'm probably not going to get past goal 1, let alone get the candy chest thingy. Luckily however, that means I can catch a break from constantly doing something in the game. I'll just enjoy my flytrap that I just won the other day, especially since that is my favourite pet. So if I never get that chest, I won't care either way especially since it's not a flytrap (obviously).

Yay! But I still think not being able to sell the other items will be a problem later on. I understand why they?re cutting down the effectiveness of the marketplace in this event.

The drop rate for one item is always better than the rest, so my barn will probably be clogged up with Skeleton bags, while I?m still waiting to get the other two. Fingers crossed they made the drop rates more even for this event format. Maybe they should let u submit all your bags continuously instead of stopping at each goal.

Debating on just sitting this event out or not. I'm really not a fan of nor do I need any of the prizes. My farm and my storage cellular is already full with decorations and pets. So I really can live without these prizes. I would just be storing the Halloween decorations after October is over anyways so really debating on this event is worth the hassle. I already don't have much candy collected and stuck on goal 3 still.. Its just really hard to collect the candy every time it's ready and hard to keep sending airplanes to try to get the certain pieces needed especially when those drops are so low and random. I think I might just take a break from events this time and just try to craft more and play randomly to try to earn more coins. I just reached level 60 so I'm needing to save up to buy the donkeys and pens. Looks like this will be the time to work towards those. Yeah typing this just answered my question on continuing the event or not and I have just decided not to continue. Lol.. Between working, trying to get sleep, my kids and all their at home learning and other stuff they have to do, and all my other duties I have to do, this event is just impossible for me and will probably just stress and tire me out more than anything.. So I'm sitting this out. I'm definitely not complaining about the game and everything storm8 does for us, its just my real life comes first.. I will definitely/hopefully be back for the next event!! Wow yes this event is really difficult. I just got the Ghost Sheet and realized how hard it?s going to be to get the 2100 needed for the Cat. Whew. This one is going to be right up the wire of the last day to finish and will probably require gems to get over the finish line. I would like to get the Vampire Chest as the Slime people are ok but not necessarily my favs. It?s like the other pink one I already have except with candy stuck to it lol. But I?ve also got a full pen with the pink slime, the humongous Pillsbury dough boy thing and the purple bear so not sure where I?d house it. Either way this is going to be a tough event to complete!! Plane drops are few and far between that?s for sure. Good luck everyone!!

This event is too confusing for me, so I'm probably not going to get past goal 1, let alone get the candy chest thingy. Luckily however, that means I can catch a break from constantly doing something in the game. I'll just enjoy my flytrap that I just won the other day, especially since that is my favourite pet. So if I never get that chest, I won't care either way especially since it's not a flytrap (obviously).

20 plane deliveries and I see 1 drop, and that drop is not even the color I need.

The more orange bags I have in barn, the more likely I’m going to get orange bag as next drop. But I’m completely helpless right, because I can’t get rid of orange bags at all (until next level), to increase my chance at what I really need.

So for the last hr, I got one green bag (the one I need).

I don’t understand the way this event is designed. Is the end goal to frustrate players? Some ppl drop rate from planes is lower than others and this event only favors those with good drop rate. The drop rate from my planes is almost as bad as the mine. So, this event is literally asking me to mine my way through.

I started with a good drop rate, then I hit a dead zone.

This event is like ones in another S8 game I play, except 1000 % harder. In that one you usually get to the last level on the last day, and at the max drop you can finish if you spend about 100 gems. To be clear with that one you get 25 per collection and usually need 3-400. This one is different because of the planes, its too dependant on luck, which means most people won't be able to finish unless they are willing to spend thousands of gems. I'm not. I look at that in terms of real cash, so would I be willing to spend 50-100$ to get this little pink slime creature? No.

20$ is my limit (I won't say monthly because I play multiple S8 games) so if an item/event costs more than 20$ to finish, I'm not doing it. Frankly to get the $20 it needs to be something really cool. Thats why I'm disgusted with the pumpkin event (which is normally a favorite) pink pumpkins are aprox 10$ each and no guarantee you will get a pet. Thats a lot for very little. If they were 3/10$ I would probably buy a bunch but otherwise no.

S8 you know we are in a massive economic collapse right? Spending 100's on digital artifacts is not really in most peoples budgets.

Haunted Pirate Ship

Thousands of planes later, I found out that the Pirate Ship is small.

Both the Candy Dispenser and the Pirate Ship are 2x2. But the Candy Dispenser is bold and big, the Ship is puny in comparison.

Players either used hundreds of gems or sent thousands of planes for the Pirate Ship, so why not allow players that got the Ship to really show it off?

The boat fountain is 1x1 but it’s got the height, making it majestic.

Please make the Pirate Ship bigger (taller) The 2x2 is fine. The graphics super spectacular. Everything about it is great except the height. It is easily lost in a sea of haunting Halloween decorations. Make it really stand out. Make it worth thousands of planes deliveries. Thank you.

Im up to part 11 currently and my drops are awful but now helping someone with their deliveries and barely anything is dropping for them as they were stuck on 3. There is a constant flow of deliveries. Quite sad really as its a lot of work to put in for minimal reward.

If you do not get the prize after redeeming it whats you need sto do is force close out of the game and reopen it. Then, it will appear in your cellar. I had this issue with getting one of the decorations and restarting the game did the trick.

You don?t actually need to complete the collections to get the slime or mimic. It should feasible to earn the Ghost and Witch hat parts, and if u go to the farmers outpost, u can pay 250 gems for the Black Cat part to construct your pet! That should be within your acceptable budget range :) heck, if u wanted to you might be able to construct both pets with more gem spend.

The hardest thing to get is actually the pirate ship (which is what I really want). Each bag part is pretty expensive given how many u need to finish this goal chain.

I cannot remember any event before where the player has absolutely no control over the way they play the game. It is most frustrating. I must have made in excess of 40 plane deliveries in the last 24 hours and I received just 2 candy bags, neither of which were the black skeleton ones. It gets harder and harder to fill the plane deliveries as my barn is severely depleted now due to so many deliveries. I am still on level 6. How is it that some players have finished? Is it just that they are extraordinarily lucky?

I don't think I'll get the candy mimic (the chest) unless I'm going to spent money to get it, which I'm not going to especially since I've spent closer to 90 USD this month on the game already. Anyway, I cannot get past goal 4 - which is why I say I won't get the chest. But I'm fine with that. It's not a flytrap pet anyway. I hope I'm wrong and that I actually get the chest, but I most likely won't.

You can give you items in the goals and they will disappear from your barn. You only need to collect from the Dispenser if you want to participate and win the five prizes in “I Want Candy”

Are you sure about not wanting that floating Pirate Ship with floating Crew of Pirates of the 7 Seas?

Decorations like this might not be available for purchase for at least another year or two.

If you love this game, you are going to be around next Halloween. By then, your farm will be bigger, more spaces to fill. You might regret not having a Pirate Ship when your neighbors are forming a Pirate Fleet to attack all the Mayflowers in FS2 lol

What?s your candy count right now? You can speed up the Candy Dispenser (each time 6 gems). Keep collecting every 3hrs. Set your alarm to wake up in middle of night to collect. Better yet, skip sleep, keep sending planes. I know you use gems generously (flytraps). So it?s not impossible for you to get the Ship.

Once you reach each milestone you will get a goal saying "Click to Redeem Prize"

You just have to click the green button to redeem it and the prize will show up in your inventory.

I feel your frustration. I?ve actually purchased 2 of the boxes, am doing 10-20 deliveries daily, playing around the clock, and am only on level 8 of 12 (for the candy bags and pirate ship). The drop rate is sooooo low. I haven?t gotten any useful bags in 2 days. I think I?ll still get the pet at the end, but I really thought paying the extra $ would help. IT WON?T! SAVE YOUR MONEY

I totally forgot about the ghost, luckily I was behind so I didn't get the witch hat - otherwise that would mean 6 things I cannot get rid of in my storage: since I have 4 bags and a ghost which would equal out to 5.

Though my count isn't as bad as toshaw. I feel bad, that's a lot worse than mine.

Hopefully the team can delete them or have us be able to discard or sell them to bots ourselves.
