* At the end of this event you will have enough supplies (if you follow the Trick or Token goals in order) to craft the 3 pumpkin candles (to complete goal 2)
* Once you craft the 3rd Pumpkin Candle, the Webbed Gate is unlocked. You will have enough items to craft 1 Webbed Gate. The next event will provide additional supplies to craft the 2nd Webbed Gate required in goal 3
* All other trades are still locked (ie, the Spell Circle, Haunted Garden, and the Ghost Alicorn)

You win the items by participating in events, they'll be rewarded in bundles throughout the quests. You need to complete each event in October to get enough Horseshoes for the Alicorn, but the rest of the Spooky Shack prizes should be obtainable by casually playing through the events.

For those in the forum, these are from completing goals for the Night to Disremember event. Also I was creating the pumpkin tokens I would randomly get Halloween decorations. I’ve already gotten Tell No Tales (2 swords with a skull) and the adorable ghost bench. Happy hunting to all!

Edit: I had the source for the supplies wrong. I think this was actually the bundle for finishing goal 2 of the quest. It had a little present As the reward and chopping the chest gave me the haunted chandelier I need to finish that goal.

The dancers should come from the Explore the Graveyard adventure! They seemed to have danced their way into a few other adventures this morning but will no longer drop from those. The dancers are not as rare as previous adventure prizes.

I haven't participated in all recent event so I might be off track here, but it seems to me like this is the first community event in quite some time where we have to collect from the troll camp instead of Ivy. Obviously, the troll camp has a much shorter timer than Ivy, which is great, but its event drops are usually not guaranteed, leaving some unlucky players understandably frustrated. We'll see how it goes this time!

Just chopped two of the ghostly graves (in the market for gems) and got a spooky tower, A spooky wall, double the amount of haunted diamonds and a VERY cool looking Raven Atrium with at 22hr timer! Wonder what it will give me!

Edit - after checking, realized I got all of those decor items and diamonds from ONE ghostly grave!

Edit 2: chopped four ghostly graves and received: 81 diamonds, 3 spooky towers (have royal points!), the raven attrium, a Cownt Dracula cow, two baby widows (tiny spiders with unknown drops), 6 spooky walls, 4 songs of the undead, a raven lantern and a spooky gate! Totally worth the gems to me!

The spooky crafting parts were the items needed in the spooky shack to craft the various tokens. I crafted ten pumpkin tokens and got my first pumpkin candle right away. I also crafted my first alicorn token. I got a pop up screen for the items which looked like the pop up screen you would get when you receive a prize chest. There were a TON of popups when I started this and I didnt catch all of them, but I thought I received the spooky shack crafting items from a prize chest right after completing goal one. I checked the splash screen posted on page one for that goal and it shows the same prize chest in the bottom right corner that Im also seeing as a prize for upgrading the haunted ballroom to level 3.

Edit: I also got the troll trap but that was later. The undead troll gives the grave mappy thingy (I can never remember the actual names of the items, sorry)

Assuming it's the same Raven Atrium from the Jack the Clipper event last year, I've recorded the following drops: Coins (around 400), Various Petals, Glimmerbulb (x6), Soft Feathers, Living Wood and Glimmerdust.

Baby Widows drop: coins (around 250), Bacon, Prime Cuts, Bone, Fur, Iron, Jewels, Silver, and can spawn Skunkupines.

I love when they offer items that drop various high value prizes so thanks for sharing. I'm now excited to buy a few as well! Last I recall something similar it was the Bag of Treats from the 2018 Halloween event (I think?) - I stocked up on those and still have a few dozen in my inventory, lol.

Oic! Thank you for the clarification and info on the troll trap! All this time I thought I got the spooky craft items from chopping up my fairy chests... I wasn?t paying close attention to all the screens in the beginning. Oh and I am not in upgrading my ballroom to level 3, I originally thought you meant part 3 as in passing the third tick mark of Passing the night to dismember goal. I will keep my eyes open for the prize chest now!

I just know the craft part. You have to collect from sparkling mines and get at least 1 haunted libation(I don?t know if it?s a guaranteed drop but I got 2). Get 2 haunted Fangs from defeating fang beasts and have 10 haunted diamonds and craft The Brew of Ball ( takes 1 hour).

By upgrading the haunted ballroom. I just upgraded the ballroom to level three and got a prize chest that had 5 ghostly horseshoes, 10 Restless spirit bottles, 10 summoning spells, 100 pumpkin seeds, 25 iron spiders, and 75 webbed ropes.

I just upgraded to Level 3, and got exactly what you got from the prize chest.

Assuming it's the same Raven Atrium from the Jack the Clipper event last year, I've recorded the following drops: Coins (around 400), Various Petals, Glimmerbulb (x6), Soft Feathers, Living Wood and Glimmerdust.

Baby Widows drop: coins (around 250), Bacon, Prime Cuts, Bone, Fur, Iron, Jewels, Silver, and can spawn Skunkupines.

I love when they offer items that drop various high value prizes so thanks for sharing. I'm now excited to buy a few as well! Last I recall something similar it was the Bag of Treats from the 2018 Halloween event (I think?) - I stocked up on those and still have a few dozen in my inventory, lol.

I don't think it is the same. I got all the way with Jack the Clipper, now have the Raven Atrium from chopping a haunted grave, and my inventory showed only one. I put it out and a 22 hour timer also came up for me. I'm excited to see what it drops, but it's gorgeous regardless!

The raven atrium (that you can now get by chopping the 40 gem ghostly grave and maybe also from other sources) was a 200 gem purchase about one year ago, at the time it also dropped wandering ravens needed to craft special items. It looks awesome (but the drops are not so impressive now that you don't get any event specific drops)

But its intriguing as you have to chop trees anyway.

Side question: I only need 1 more forest compass to open a plot and I have not been getting ANY forest wisp essence from wisps. Where do I get the Essence?

Also I don?t know if it?s been said elsewhere but there are plots under the earth and water temples you can open ahead of time (I still have not gathered my tea yet). I opened the plot under the water temple bc it required less expansion permits. After that I was able to give the supplies I already had like spellbound dew, some ivy antidotes and wind chimes. Since I am still in level 1 I cannot make compasses. After I make enough expansion permits I will open the plot under the earth temple.

I'm not as brave as you. I'm very happy I didn't start Part 2 (of Elemental Discovery) yet, so I can focus all my energy on getting that gorgeous Ghost Alicorn.
BUT, I'm still working on The Academy Main Story Line, so I can still multi purposefully chop Aspen Trees :cool:

1 Small downside.. the random Troll Camp drops are the worst. :(
Weren't they guaranteed in a previous event?
I much rather have Ivy drop to wait on, than this torture.
I've only managed to get my hand on 1 Haunted Crossbones, so I haven't been able to upgrade my Haunted Ballroom yet.
This dampens my enthusiasm a bit, and I don't see this as fun or challenging.. just time consuming and frustrating. Why keep using this?

Keep collecting Faerie Chests in the mean time.
If the Faerie Atrium problem gets solved, you won't be missing out on anything by chopping the Faerie Chests at a later time.

Yes, I think White Trillium can spawn a green Wisp that drop Forest Wisp Essence, and the Cloudberry Bush can spawn a yellow Wisp that drops Wisp Essence

No, I think they mean you have to complete the events, not every optional side Goal.

Ok I think I've figured out a little about the spooky shack.

Starting out you have pumpkin candle available you can craft with pumpkin tokens.

Various activities of which I've not understood yet drop components for these crafts. However, buying fresh grave in the market for 1000 coins uses 20 energy to clear and drops some of the resources listed below for these crafts. Progressing through the story line should unlock more of the 5 craftable items.

Items I think that are craftable until 11/7/20 as you progress through the story:

Pumpkin Candle = 10 pumpkin tokens (each token requires - 5x pumpkin seeds, 5x webbed ropes)
Webbed Gate = 10 spider tokens (each token requires - 5x webbed ropes, 5x iron spiders)
Spell Circle = 10 spell circle tokens (each token requires - 5x iron spiders, 5x summoning spells)
Haunted garden = 10 haunted tokens (each token requires - 5x summoning spells, 5x haunted spirits)
Ghost alicorn = 10 ghost alicorn tokens (each token requires - 5x restless spirits, 5x ghostly horseshoes)


I was able to make other tokens with the drops I've had even though the last four of the craftable items are not unlocked, including one alicorn token. Edit: thank you RonjaR32 for the answer about tokens not showing up in inventory - clicking on one of the locked by goal items will show you how many tokens you've already crafted for that item.

Before I noticed the goal, I also crafted the other tokens ahead of time. S8 or Spirit Wind can you confirm that this will not mess with the goals to get the Alicorn? I'm really kicking myself for making them early, but I didn't see the goal! Now I'm worried that when I get to the Alicorn I won't be able to move forward because I've crafted a token too early.

After 16 peppers gathered from the garden, about a dozen cows, and 6 pigs, I gave up and went back to the grave. I've gotten two fangbeasts from two graves clears. I think it follows a pattern from previous events where the purchased item that needs the most energy for gather can trigger the beast we need.

The first two upgrades on the haunted ballroom need 4 maps each and the adventure needs a map too. So people may want to stock up on them from the undead troll that comes from the farmhouses. I've gotten fangbeasts from farmhouses too, along with hatcheries and stables.

Also needed for upgrades are:

Haunted mask
Brew of the ball
Haunted brooch

Crafted in the workshop. One item requires something from the troll camp that has a better collection rate than Ivy's. So anytime collecting from the haunted ballroom, you may wish to check the troll camp too.

To complete the 3rd candle (and finish task) I only need 5 more pumpkin tokens-each candle takes 10 total. What worries me is that I have enough pumpkin seeds to make the last 5 tokens, but I am out of webbed rope...hmmm, seems like I outta have the same amount of rope as seeds, no?!? What I can't figure out is how I'm gonna get those last 25 webbed ropes bc there's no more 'tasks':confused:. Make sense??

Btw, did anyone find it odd that there's no 'special sale' (15 min unlimited energy/task items, etc.) to go along with this?

There is A Night to Dismember quest line that builds the haunted ball that is probably one event.
I'm not sure how to "win" the faerie atrium except to collect enough from the haunted ball to get the last item the ghost jester. Is this the second?
Dancing in October is the adventure I think.

As you work thru this event and complete the tasks to upgrade your ballroom, you receive the prize chests that have items needed to craft tokens in the spooky shack. First chest was received by completing the first GOAL of the event. Second chest will be received after you complete the goal to upgrade your ballroom to level 3. There is likely to be additional chests as you continue to upgrade the ballroom, but they may not come until the second or third event of the month since all three will be tied together.

A Night To Dismember is event one.
When it ends in 13 days, event two will begin.
After however long event two is, event three will begin.
All events will be started and completed in the 35 days that the Spooky Supply Run task is showing in the goal book (may be 34 days at this point).

All of the side quests during this event like the Dancing in October (I think that was the name of it, I already completed it) do NOT count toward the prize chests needed to gain spooky crafting items for the tokens.

Lol I just found out who the ghost is.

When upgrading haunted ballroom to level 2 I received these:

I was very lucky with the Adventure. I only went on a very few and got great drops. In this game, "slow and steady wins the race." I love Halloween, so this event is great fun for me. Good luck!

As you work thru this event and complete the tasks to upgrade your ballroom, you receive the prize chests that have items needed to craft tokens in the spooky shack. First chest was received by completing the first GOAL of the event. Second chest will be received after you complete the goal to upgrade your ballroom to level 3. There is likely to be additional chests as you continue to upgrade the ballroom, but they may not come until the second or third event of the month since all three will be tied together.

A Night To Dismember is event one.
When it ends in 13 days, event two will begin.
After however long event two is, event three will begin.
All events will be started and completed in the 35 days that the Spooky Supply Run task is showing in the goal book (may be 34 days at this point).

All of the side quests during this event like the Dancing in October (I think that was the name of it, I already completed it) do NOT count toward the prize chests needed to gain spooky crafting items for the tokens.

I think I'm confused so I'm worried I missed something. My Haunted ballroom is at level 4 & so far I've gotten enough materials to create 2 of the pumpkin candles. To complete the 3rd candle (and finish task) I only need 5 more pumpkin tokens-each candle takes 10 total. What worries me is that I have enough pumpkin seeds to make the last 5 tokens, but I am out of webbed rope...hmmm, seems like I outta have the same amount of rope as seeds, no?!? What I can't figure out is how I'm gonna get those last 25 webbed ropes bc there's no more 'tasks':confused:. Make sense??

Side question: I only need 1 more forest compass to open a plot and I have not been getting ANY forest wisp essence from wisps. Where do I get the Essence?

Also I don?t know if it?s been said elsewhere but there are plots under the earth and water temples you can open ahead of time (I still have not gathered my tea yet). I opened the plot under the water temple bc it required less expansion permits. After that I was able to give the supplies I already had like spellbound dew, some ivy antidotes and wind chimes. Since I am still in level 1 I cannot make compasses. After I make enough expansion permits I will open the plot under the earth temple.

I too am somewhat confused, other than the regular event. Probably it was a mistake to start part II of the Elemental Discovery! It will all settle into place. Also, I for one am happy to see fangbeasts because I?m on the last step of the Academy.

I have found that the best place to find the Fangbeasts are chopping the Fresh Graves. Keep at it. They will show up.

I usually get a fangbeast half way or later in harvesting a grave. I had one grave without a spawn but all the rest have spawned one. If you aren't getting any from multiple graves, I wonder if it's a bug. For me to get several spawn at stroke 11 seems more like design than luck.

So, I had my willow trees lined up last night to chop during the 10 minute free energy which didn't happen but luckily we need trees for this event. For those doing the math, I chopped 31 Willow trees and got the 110 haunted leaves that you need (presuming it's a 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 upgrade event).
FYI - I was able to get 21 water compasses chopping those same 31 trees.

After you work through the first few goals, you get the option to upgrade. Chop 1 fairy chest ASAP; this is needed to advance the other goals. You can save any other Faerie Chests for later in the event. Note that the chests are event specific; they can't be carried over to other events & once they expire you can't chop them to get them out of inventory.
As you upgrade the ballroom there will be intermittent rewards for the tokens.

Title: And so it begins
Now firstly I would like to say everything is dropping; Halloween, elemental and forest you name it it's there *heavenly ray of light* I did plant and grow 29 willows ahead of starting and I got out nearly everything that the quests need to be collected from (trillium, graves, flowers. All the buildings I collect daily from anyway). So my kingdom's theme is organised mess at the moment. The reason I started today was because I had to wait for the rhino and wind lady. So I click go and start doing my daily round of collections starting with ivy's hut. I look at the forest quest step two: collect from ivy's hut and feed the rhino *internally screams* "of all the times to fancy a bite to eat you pick now?!!" But it's okay I've been hoarding my gems plus it's another ivy potion in the bag. I get to goal 3 of elemental and goal 4 of forest where they require willows and I go all out on the trees. I've got to a waiting time with the forest as I need 45 stones and only have 2 of each on the mines and sawmills. I then move on to the elemental goal: collect from a bush "....but I've just put all 50 of the bushes away to make room for the flowers" *internally cries* but it's okay it's only a 9-10 min wait so I knock on a couple of graves to see if billy needs anything (he has quite the property business going on), I stick a couple of wind chimes in the forges, go forest wisp hunting and knock on a couple of farm houses for the zombies. I was a bit taken aback at how many zombies I attracted but I put that down to the leftovers of whatever ivy cooked up for the rhino and the forest wisp's new perfume that's on sale. My forges will be very busy if you have a tinker camp that's great because you can make forest lanterns there too so it frees up some space to make other things. For all those stuck on getting fangbeasts try chopping willows I'm getting quite a few there as well as the graves. Thank you storm8 for a great Halloween event I love all the prize designs. I shall now go back to chopping willows and knocking on more farmhouses and graves

I wouldn't complain at having decorations, but I, among others, am still very energy dependent. And I'm about to hit the 46 level. I am still quite grateful for the energy.:)

If you haven't bought it yet, you can find it under the "featured" tab in the marketplace.

If you already bought it and can't find it anywhere in your kingdom, try looking in your goal book for the "night to dismember" goal and one of the tasks in the goal is asking you to upgrade the ballroom, clicking in the goal will take you right to it wherever it's hiding in your kingdom

I just got a SECOND dancing couple and I only did three adventures total this time! Thank you to S8 for making the adventure drop less rare! This is the first time I’ve ever gotten even one! And yes, we need scrolls!

Yes, if you've already completed this event, just wait for the next one! You'll be able to get more Spooky Supplies rather early on.

Yes, I have been saving my graves at 19 lol. So far I?m on level 4 but I had pretty decent troll camp and adventure drops (straight off the bat the first 3 adventure drops were completely useless!), but I kept at it and eventually got the haunted crossbones. It really sucks spending so much energy to go on the adventures AND spend gold NUGGETS (wish it was apples or eggs) and get really bad drops. Wish S8 would change it so spending gold nuggets will be like how it is now with a very high chance to get the prize and maybe gold eggs and apples how it normally is 🤷*♀️. Wishing you tons of luck on troll camp and adventure drops and the prize as well, but I think the prize is just really cute which is why I like it but doesn?t drop a lot of coins and I got black flagged but didn?t catch what it was.

Side note: I got the haystack from doing the pumpkin trade and I could?ve sworn I already had that deco and I checked but it wasn?t grouped together in the inventory. While the 40 gem grave was a disappointment to me, I got the dancing couple.:) Thank you S8 for upping the adventure drop. :). I got a black flag on living wood (the female dancer has antlers).

Those of you who have not received any haunted crossbones I wonder if it would be a good idea to store the troll camp, bring it back out, and force close the game before and after storing.

I also have done other trades in the Spooky Shack. The items required are different than for the pumpkin so I think it will just move you along quicker when you reach the next goals.

Just checked and they do share required items. The spiderwebs for making the pumpkins is needed for the spiderweb gate and the spider is needed for the spell circle then the next one needs one from the goal before. I think it's still okay but it might take longer. Good luck everyone. I'm still hoping for the dancers and the deco I don't have yet but thanks to who posted what the Cownt drops. I put them out to collect any red items.

I did this yesterday and forgot to put it back out. And when I put it back, 6 hours later still no drop.

There have been an inordinate amount of resets for me; perhaps you didn't "forget" to put the troll camp back out. I am seeing some resets occurring just after collection and some resets up to 60 seconds later (especially frustrating when I have purchased the Unlimited Energy and it resets with all the flags showing on items already tapped, whether collected or reset--talk about potential gem traps!)
This morning 2 of my 4 accounts reset after collection of the ballroom, I discovered that when going back in 1/2 hr later to collect from the Workshop. Grrrrrr.

Spirit Wind lists the spooky supplies we get on page 1 (up to level 3 upgrade). I?m at level 4 and by then you should have enough to make 2/3 pumpkin candles (unless you made tokens out of order). We don?t know how many more supplies we will get until the event is over, but for sure we will be getting horseshoes when winning the Duchess ghost.

I am utterly shocked. On just my second quest to Explore the Graveyard, I got the Ghostly Dancers. NEVER have I gotten the character from those types of quests before. And I usually do the quest at least ten times throughout the event. It has a 4 hour timer. On my first collection I got glimmerdust and a black flag for blue petals.

I finished and when I got Winifred, I got enough spooky supplies to finish my 3rd candle. That unlocked the web gate goal - two webbed gates needed to unlock the spell circle. I had enough supplies to make 10 tokens for my first webbed gate. I also made another unicorn (edit: alicorn!) token.

Received spooky supplies after GOAL 1, Level 3 ballroom upgrade, inviting Winifred to the realm:
Made: 30 pumpkin tokens - 3 pumpkin candles
Made: 10 spider tokens - 1 spider web gate
Made: 3 ghost alicorn tokens
Made: 3 spell circle tokens
Made: 1 haunted garden token

Supplies remaining:
50 pumpkin seeds
25 webbed ropes
10 summoning spells
10 restless spirits

I could make another Haunted Garden token before running out of supplies. I caution making more pumpkin tokens, it might leave you short in the next event of enough webbed ropes to finish the Spider Web Gates. If you don?t unlock the goals, I don?t think you can craft the Alicorn.

Well, I?m confused. In post #4 it states I should get 50 webbed rope after goal 1, and 75 after goal 6. So that?s a total of 125 which means I should have 2 pumpkin candles and 5 pumpkin tokens. Then after goal 9 I should get another 25 which would allow me to complete the 3 pumpkin candles. I only have 2 pumpkin candles and 3 tokens, so what I get after goal 9 will not be enough to get the 3 pumpkin candles. As far as I am aware I have only made the pumpkin stuff and an Alicorn token. I?m pretty sure I have not made anything else, but it is frustrating that you can?t check as I won?t know for at least another 11 days or so when the event starts and I hopefully get more webbed rope to complete the pumpkin candles then unlock the gate and see if I have made any gate tokens. I just wish they showed in your inventory so you could check. Is it possible some get a different amount? I hope I haven?t stuffed up as the ghost one looks gorgeous.

To get the Ghostly Alicom you are going to need to complete the goals and complete all 3 of the October events.
