To slow us down.. there are other things to make in workshop for the Goal so they dont allow us to have multiple items to make for upgrades at same time ie Slow Down.. like Ivy isnt enough right!

I'm using Crab Apple trees because they are the fastest to grow and they drop chalices just fine. Usually in this type of event any tree that has to be grown works, but not dead trees. I haven't tried, but sometimes even fruit trees work.

Aspen trees, Crab Apple trees and Red Acer dropped chalices, dropping rate was 3-4 chops per chalice. Honeycomb tree from one of previous events didn't drop any chalice (it took 10 chops to chop down the Honeycomb tree).

I think i recall in past events, there may be some small goals you might have to complete before you can upgrade...Then it will tell you to upgrade...

They don?t drop from the many dead trees I chopped attempting to rid my messy ass kingdom from the last event. I?ve been getting 2 at least per willow tree! They are big but cheap cheap cheap.

They spawned for me and I am at goal 3. I am waiting for my tropical drink to finish and decided to check my farmhouses to see if they would spawn.

I'm late starting, so I'm at the first goal and was able to spawn a lava golem on my 5th farmhouse. I'm not seeing upgrade option on the tropical getaway yet. I'll see if I get the upgrade once I complete the first task.

Do we need oysters again for this task? I'm not seeing the resource in the market to harvest them.

Thanks for all of your effort in getting the walkthrough for each of these events. They are very helpful.:cool:

Edit.........I'm now on the 5th bubble on the event and was given a task to upgrade the tropical getaway. So it did start out unavailable but opened up. And the adventure is available.

I’ve been having the game immediately crashing on opening. Checked the App Store and there is a May 20th update to 2.3.3.
Installed and then had to do a couple of force quits to get in. Hopefully that’s taken care of the issue.

I have not once been able to get the bonus item that we ?have a chance? of getting on these supplementary adventure goals.... can anyone tell me if there?s a trick to it or something... I do all the events and numerous times have continued on the adventures even if I don?t require any more supplies, I have spent money on going & am completely thinking that these bonus items are not real but are only to get us to spend money on the game....

Any ideas of words of wisdom are most welcome! Thanks in advance!

I have not once been able to get the bonus item that we ?have a chance? of getting on these supplementary adventure goals.... can anyone tell me if there?s a trick to it or something... I do all the events and numerous times have continued on the adventures even if I don?t require any more supplies, I have spent money on going & am completely thinking that these bonus items are not real but are only to get us to spend money on the game....

Not words of wisdom, but possibly gloom.... lol

Unfortunately, it's just the luck of the draw... the probability of it dropping is quite low and it's hard to quantify how many forum posters get the special prize, but it's maybe around 10% or so, maybe less. I'd prefer to think of the adventure as a bonus to hopefully get the other resources needed for crafting. I personally would only go on as many adventures as I have the potion for (gold nuggets are not an issue for me). My fingers are crossed for you this time though! Good luck :)

The items are real, just a very rare and random drop so the only thing we can do on our end is send out as many adventures as possible.

There have been times where I've gone on over 60 adventures before getting the special prize. On average though, I'd estimate I send out anywhere from 15 to 30 adventures to get the prize. If it's something I really like, I'll devote all of my extra energy and time to getting the materials and sending out even more adventures.

Sawmills are dropping the Lava Gems. These events do come one right after the other, and it takes me about a day to figure out what is going on!

The Tropical Parrot is animated, it hops along its perch and bends forward to peck as though it's eating. For what it's worth, I wanted the Volcano very badly but I worry that I'll get another Beehive so I'm holding off until it's fixed.

Thank you for posting! And thanks to AnnirasSweets reply-- I wouldn't mind a second beehive actually! I just don't want a broken little volcano. I do hope it all gets sorted out soon! It looks like It could be such a great deco that would coordinate with a bunch of things we already have.

I am always looking for alternative chickens and the parrot sounds great too! A good backup! ;)

Also? did I miss the rules on playing this event? I have cleared over 20 pineapples and still not enough red bottles I ended up with 2! I had unlimited energy for awhile and clicked on everything in my village and not ONE Lava Golem showed up. I haven?t see a parrot or Volcano I know I may have to build one but in the process of clicking on everything on my screen I didn?t even get a fairy chance to open to get more fairies!

I had that problem a couple of days ago. There is a May 20th update. After installing, I still had problems. Then did several force quits. CS still crashed a few seconds after opening. I then did a force restart on my iPad and it’s been fine ever since.

Regarding the bubbling volcano: since I have the beehive in the atrium, I have no idea the size of the volcano. Assuming it gets fixed, I’d still want it to be a 2 x 2. Graphics could just be made bigger. Kaz’s abode is 2 x 2 and is pretty tall. Animation would be awesome. The deco only fountain is tall and animated. Please don’t make the volcano a 3 x 3. That’s too big for just a decoration.

Though, I do wish it was scaled up a bit; not a bigger footprint necessarily, but I would like to see it scaled up to at least the size of the Ice Cream Mountain. It seems downright ridiculous to me that most items on my board should dwarf a volcano!

This item excited me despite its lack of drops as I had every intention of using it for a Dark Wyvern display however with it sized as it is now, it's too small to work. True, the Wyvern Hatchlings fit the volcano's smaller stature but the simple fact is that they don't look nearly as cool next to it. As you can see... :(

Atrium is separate from the community goal other then you get some wreaths from opening CHests.. Collecting from the Building and ****ing Golems also gets wreaths

For the last year or so the community prizes have been requiring 25 million, 200 million and 400 million points to earn. I wouldn't worry too much about not getting the prizes though, they're all but guaranteed for any player who reaches the 500 point benchmark and unlocks them.

If you get 3 chests everyday, you should be able to craft all the items. It's easiest to make the 1st item as soon as you get the required materials. I usually make them in order; you have to make them as you get the required faeries because of th3 faerie storage limit.

I did not do the reinstall, my kingdom is huge as well. (I have done it a couple of times in years past) Someone else had posted that theirs crafted OK. As long as it placed correctly, I don’t care if the beehive image is still in the atrium.

The first page of this tread has lots of information. You will need 1000 wreathes to earn Ana. You can see the number of wreathes you have collected by clicking on the community goal on the right hand side of your screen. You won't see them in the goal book. The higher the level of your Tropical Getaway the more wreathes you collect when you click on it.

You can see the number of wreathes you have collected by clicking on the community goal on the right hand side of your screen. You won't see them in the goal book. The higher the level of your Tropical Getaway the more wreathes you collect when you click on it.

The community goal isn't showing up on the right hand side of the screen. It never did. I played the goal using the goal book. I thought it was weird but didn't think too much about it since I could use the goal book to play. I'm getting 25 wreaths from the Tropical Getaway, but I didn't keep track of how many I've gotten so far, so I don't know how many I have. I automatically thought they were in storage since I didn't have the community goal on the right side. I do not want to report it ...get a ticket ..etc. etc., so I'll just keeping clicking on the Tropical Getaway and hopefully when I do get the 1k wreaths I'll get Ana. Thanks for your reply. Loving this event, esp since Value Packs have Ivy drops. My schedule is crazy this month, I probably wouldn't have attempted it, much as I like these prizes, because it would have been impossible to get all the Ivy drops. And I much prefer purchasing a Value Pack to spending gems.

I recommand everyone go for all 3 Atrium prizes.
It doesn’t cost much energy or effort to get all the chests every day.
And even if you don’t need the drops of a specific prize now, it’s always good to have as many droppers as possible in case we need a lot of a specific drop in an event.

Thanks! Yeah, my Petunia The Bard from my very first event has saved me from ever having to make Enchanter/Lumin Essence...amazing! I’ve never actually tried, but do the fairie chest (unopened) carry on in our inventory to the next fairy event? I guess I was deciding if I prefer to stock up for something I really want. I kind of hate that I made the parrot since I have 397485478 chickens.

Chests don't carry over. They become decoration that you can't sell afterwards.
Faeries don't carry over either.
No need to 'stock up' for anything. If you get all 3 chests everyday you should have enough Faeries for all 3 prizes.
But you do have to craft them when you have the Faeries and not wait till the end of the event.

Don't feel bad about the Parrot. He's cute and he was free, and he looks good next to the Tropical Getaway. :)

I’ve been really lucky this event and seems I will have enough to go for a fourth! Atrium prize! :cool:
Still can’t decide to get another Tropical Parrot or Bubbling Volcano ... decisions, decisions ...
Leaning towards a second parrot as they fit amazingly with the Jungle Grove from the last event.
But now the volcano is bigger it is amazing! And two could be really cool together.

Also thanks Storm8 for increasing the size! So much better now! :love_heart:

On another note, the community prizes have definitely been programmed wrong.
By event end only the first two prizes will unlock - instead of all three.
Storm8 please fix.

She is meant to have drops but at the moment there is a bug where she's deco only. In the Bugs Thread (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?111011), SW said she was going to flag it with the team so hopefully we'll see a fix soon.

Kaia is so lovely!! She is such a fabulous addition. Her wings are really great.

However, her drops are not so helpful. S8-- can you please have her drop 3+ water, or mermaid scales each time?? So far she has dropped one water each time, and I get black flagged for anything else. I hate to put her into storage but that's where she's headed like this.

I agree, 1 water is pretty bad.
I'm keeping her in my Queendom anyway because she is so beautiful, but I would love an excuse to collect from her regularly.

Loving this event and the prizes. Great job S8!

I think this is the first time I have gotten all the prizes from the faeries. It was fun arranging them - the golem flows right up out of the lava from the volcano, and the parrot watches from on high.

Also remember that if you have the Toadstool Adventure you can spawn a Monster from those. Regualr Caste is 2 hour advy 4hr in the other. The reason I say is I am very much on energy saving mode on one of my accounts and this helps having to not waste energy chopping 2 much to get a spawn.

What time do they release the tasks for the Faerie Chests? It seems to have been more than 24 hours since I last saw them (I always complete them within minutes of their release). I'm waiting on the last three Talinium Faeries to craft my Lava Golem.

The timing for mine has been off since the first day, and I think I had a day it didn't even show. Mine has been showing up very late between 6:30 and 10:30pm cst. The market daily seems to be on time, 1:00pm cst. I don't know if it matters, but you may want to check and make sure you don't have any past chests you haven't opened yet from the atrium event.

Edit......ok it just popped up at 9:00pm central standard. It's odd.

RE: Ivy.....you have to suck it up & collect twice a day during Ivy drop events. After the initial collection, I do it again the next AM as soon as the alarm goes off, then again at night. I have to set timers. They slowly time change since it's really hard to collect Exactly 12 hours later! And I don't particularly enjoy getting up early on a weekend, but sometimes I just collect Ivy & go back to sleep :rolleyes: I think you can miss 2-3 collections and still make it to the final goal, if you can't do adventures & get Ivy drop items, or spend $ on a Value Pack that contains either the Ivy drop or the finished item.

I went on the adventure for about 15 times and I still could not get the tropical dragon. Is it worthwhile to continue one last time or just use whatever remaining time there is to do other tasks as getting the Bottled Pyroclasts is taking a lot of energy (typically around 150 or so) and I don’t want to exhaust my golden nuggets supply. Any thoughts? Thanks,

Yea! It did that for me too. Mine usually comes up earlier than that.

On one occasion, a couple of events ago, I had the tasks for two days overlap because I had not opened the game for a full day, and I was actually able to complete all six of them and receive all six chests. Wierd :confused:

Me too. I would just go for the adventures until the goals are completed and then spend the rest of the days just stockpiling energy. I refuse to be baited.

I do a few adventures for the special reward, usually for the extra supplies that drop. I am just back after having lost my game, so haven't done a lot of events yet. I tried hard to get the little seahorse in a bubble (Denise) from the under the sea event and that is how I figured out that if I had enough gold items I would do the adventure when I could, but not specifically for the reward.

I like seeing the photos of the parrots in people's kingdoms. I don't know how to post a picture yet, but I placed mine above the troll camp (does it ever drop anything special?) and I really like the look.

I did spend less than 20 gems for missing some ivy collections but I am good with that to get an energy dropper and 2 parrots that spawn monsters for monster hunts. Thumbs up

This time, for some reason, I never did get enough fairies to get all the atrium prizes. I make and open all three Chests every day and got all the chests from the event. I really wanted the volcano, so had to pay some gems for it. This does not seem right.

Did you craft the Tropical Parrot and Lava Golem before you crafted the Bubbling Volcano?
In that case I can see why you maybe didn't have enough Faeries for it.. but otherwise (if you didn't craft the other 2 first) I don't understand how you could not have the Faeries required for the Bubbling Volcano.

The best strategy is to immediately craft the first 2 crafts (not counting the Flower wreath, or other item in other events) when you have the Faeries, and save the 'main prize' (the one that costs 70 Talinium Faeries, in this case the Lava Golem) for last.
If you do this, normally you should be able to craft all 3.
But the drops are random, so you could be unlucky and fall a few short.
