Noooooo 5,000 Food Store Limit

Well ok, I was on my merry lala time of collecting my food. I hit the limit. I didn't even think there would be.

So that's another thing to factor in when playing the game. I have no idea if this changes by level, or if it's set at 5,000.

Anyone else hit this?

Now this limit is going to change things up a bit for me. Need to get rid of a few places for food because at this point I have too many things and can't collect them.

The limit should really be changed to 9,999. That is what it shows as the maximum when you get that glitch where everything is 9999999999.
And it makes more sense since it's extremely easy to go past 5000.

What level are you at? I've gone a bit over 5000 before because I think I was collecting too fast, but it never let me go any higher after that.

Currently at level 16 and Food store is at 5573 - but I was up closer to 6k earlier, just feed the animals. :p

hmmm i see... maybe it depends on the level cause I leveled a lot since the last time I tried.

Could be but Kooky posted up above that they were on level 20 and the limit was at 5,000. Could have been changed.

It seems like they did change it. I can go over 5000 now. And I have also noticed that I could only have up to 6 animals and now I can have 8 (I have not completed any of my buildings yet so it's not the building thing). And I just got the promotion on my other iPod touch and started playing it and noticed it starts off at having a total of 8 animals and not 6. So it's not the level thing, I think TeamLava just implemented this or something.

Cool, I also noticed that the elephant didn't have a multiple one when you had multiples, like with the bears and zebras and there is now. So it looks like TL is hard at work tweaking. Woo!

The only time I was able to go over the 5000 was when I didn't collect the apples until after I picked everything.

I've noticed same as others that u can now get higher food lvls past 5000. I'm sure TL upd the number.

The limit is now 10,000

The trick to get past the limit (now 10,000) is to collect all your crops without collecting the little bouncing apples, and let them fly to your little bar. I've gotten a little past 10,000 by doing this.
But when I did this, at first I got a pop-up saying the limit was 10000, then I tried again and it said 5000. So it's still a bit glitchy.

I was actually at over that over 10,000 at some point during the weekend, and then when I went to collect more food, it came back with the message can't collect over 5000 food (even though I was already over 5,000). I had to get rid of 6,000 + food until I could get more, by that time some of my food had withered.

I was at 11,624 food (level 18) and received that message again (5,000 limit). This was on Saturday I believe.

But could be one of the things they are still tweaking for the game.

I had the same thing happen as trenae. I had over 12,000 food at one point (don't collect the apples until all your plots are harvested and then it gives you all the food). Then when it dropped below 10,000 after feeding my animals, I tried to collect and it said maximum is 5,000. I had to wait, collect and feed my animals, used up too much energy, had to wait for that, and between the two issues some of my crops withered :(. I like the more interactive features of this game, but I think there's a bit too much making it rather complicated sometimes. Truthfully, if I want rocket science, I'll get my work done, I kinda like my games to be a bit simpler, a mindless break from work. :)
