**Note** Many of us have experienced times when we completed an Act but wasn't awarded the necessary prize that was to enable us to advance to the next Act or Chapter. I've found that the one thing I did that helped me avoid this is to ALWAYS force-close and restart the game BEFORE I start doing any of the tasks for the Acts.

Let me know of any errors or omissions, especially in the task list and prizes.

Is it just me or is the Chapter 7 dragon - Primal Growth - the same one we just had as a tournament prize? :confused: I took mine out of storage and started hatching just in case.

That's what's puzzling me. The dragon that we should be crafting at the end of Chapter 7 should be the Glitterstream Dragon. But a look into the Spell Shop shows that we are supposed to craft the Primal Growth Dragon; I've already hatched mine from the previous event and it's queuing in the long line of dragons waiting their turn to be evolved :confused:

I don't know what's going on with the developers! There's one boo-boo after another. Are you aware that the Gold Token awarding was SWITCHED OFF during the last day of the LB? I did a whole lot of speed breeding to raise my score, only to discover that I wasn't awarded any Gold Tokens for all that breeding :mad: :mad:

I'd thought that things were going to improve but I guess that's just my wishful thinking :blue:

Well the picture does show primal growth as part of tales but it's definitely not a 6hr dragon. This causes all sorts of not goods.

If you have the dragon, you can get a jump to raise it to level 12 for battles but when u get to act to craft it you still need to do that or use 9 gold and players that didnt finish tourny have disadvantage on evolving ...even more so since its 15 hrs not 6 hrs!!!

I didnt check feeding sched but that may cost everyone more and if you start now and come Mon or Tues they fix it to correct dragon there went time and apples you may not have wanted to use.

I'm guessing it wont be done soon but possibly they are staying late???

Its unbelievable about these errors. This is right after they've removed videos to speed up battles on Android tho they remain on iOS and S8 says it's not an issue!!!

Hi yes I have sent a ticket 🎫 in to s8 about not receiving the gold coins for strongshine yesterday, it?s so disappointing that they can?t just pull it together, also so strange about the dragon being the one we just won everything seems to be mucked up this event already :( 😕

Unless you have paid gold to unlocked Chapter 7 early, the crafting of this dragon does not happen today (Chapter 6). It's supposed to happen tomorrow (Chapter 7), in 22 hours time.

However, my apartment building has been up for sale for like 2 months now, and, while it was purchased (or went into escrow or whatever - I know nothing about real estate) almost immediately, they found a lot of things wrong in the building that need to be repaired before they can close the sale. Searching the internet, it seems like the transaction completed 2-28-2020. So I think it's too soon to tell what the company, Stillfront Group, may do to improve things.....but it also seems like the current powers that be may be staying which may mean same old same old mess.

All I can say is this, Primal Growth is definitely the dragon needed for Chapter 7. I don't have any info on Glitterstream though.

So much for things getting better when the new company bought S8 out. Lol! However, my apartment building has been up for sale for like 2 months now, and, while it was purchased (or went into escrow or whatever - I know nothing about real estate) almost immediately, they found a lot of things wrong in the building that need to be repaired before they can close the sale. Something similar might be happening here - the new company bought S8 and didn't realize how many things needed to be fixed before they can implement any improvements or changes. This is speculation, of course, but it seemed like a good analogy to what is going on with my apartment building.

I've been through a takeover of the company I worked in before, and I can tell you it wasn't pretty.

The directors of the company keep silent about everything until the day of the finalization of the sale. They keep mum to prevent the news from being leaked and the speculators raising the price of the company's shares before the close.

Once the transaction has gone through, and the company releases the news, the first thing that happens is that the bosses will call a meeting to announce the sale. They will use this meeting to reassure employees that nothing will change and that the takeover/merger was for the good of the company because they now have funds for expansion and R & D.

Following that, the company will stream videos to every employee's computer, with a theme emphasizing "One Big Family." They may also organize some theme building activities.

Once these activities have lulled everyone into a sense of security, news about the consolidation of "Shared Services," which usually means Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, Customer Relations, and Customer Services, will start to trickle out from the grapevine.

Six months to a year later, the ax will fall, and right-sizing will begin.

Well, folks, it looks like we're going to have to play through with the Primal Growth Dragon.

News that have floated out seems to indicate that the powers that be "designed" this Tales event to run with the Primal Growth Dragon.

So the thing to watch out for is that the incubation and hatching time of the Primal Growth Dragon is double that of the missing Glitterstream Dragon, so plan for that. However, the food requirements are the same, so no worries there.

I just started crafting the Primal Growth Dragon and also popped the one I won in the previous tourney into the Evolution Temple to start raising it up. If you did not complete the last tournament and won this dragon, be aware that this dragon has 15-hour hatching and evolution times. Couple those with the 7-hour crafting time, you'll find that you're going to need a total of 37 hours from its crafting at the end of Chapter 7 to raising it to Level 5 at the beginning of Chapter 8; 37 HOURS THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE! The usual Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 Acts only require a total of 18 hours to craft, hatch and evolve the dragon to Level 5.

I just completed Chapter 7 by starting to craft a second Primal Growth with the Little Lizard parts received in previous tasks. Tomorrow will be the test to see if my current Primal Growth sitting at Level 12 will be counted in Chapter 8, Act 1 ("Raise Primal Growth to level 5"). It should count, but we all know how wacky this game can be :( I will let you all know what happens.

I wouldn't have used any gold to win a Primal Growth dragon in the tournament if I had known I would be getting one for free. I used gold to defeat a few different dragons on 3 of my 4 accounts. My baby account did not participate in the battle at all, so it has no Primal Growth, but is crafting one now. Of course that gold will never be recovered.

I saw a comment somewhere that S8 messed up the tales dragons and decided not to release glitterstream. I hope this is what happened as opposed to it being designed that way. The game is difficult enuf without adding more obstacles. But S8 has always been a company to push at its players and see how outrageous they can get with difficulty before x% say we're leaving.

This could’ve been addressed be the S8 team as it was clearly noticed early on but it seems like all of a sudden all of the S8 managers have disappeared.:blue: If they weren’t going to change the dragon couldn’t they have at least changed the breeding & evolution times? We know that S8 will go to extremes to not admit they made a mistake. So if they answered our questions it would either be an admission to a mistake or their usual, game is working as intended non answer .

What I really enjoy is when they say in the forum to contact customer support and when you do, customer support says to find the answer on the forum.

I was busy with work so while I knew about the issue early in the week, I had not checked and didn't realize until I finished crafting the Primal Growth dragon and put it on the nest. THEN I saw the 15 hour hatch time. I did have a 10X hating boost so I used that and it is finishing it's first evolving now but I will be late getting chapter 8 and 9 done, but hopefully I am still good to finish on time.

Quite disappointed, though. I don't need two Primal Growth dragons - I would have much preferred a new dragon. I JUST spent some money on the game also as I want all the habitats for this month so I can have as many of the stone type dragons out as possible. I try to no longer buy the 3 dragon habitats and just bring the new ones out when I have room on a 5 dragon habitat. Some months only a few come out and I have some World types from January that are in storage because they were necessary for the event but I don't have room for them.

It’s because they did not use the usual type of 6-hour dragon. You will need a total of 67 hours to craft, hatch, and evolve your dragon to level 12. If my calculations are right, the time you have in the game from the start of Chapter 7 to the end of the event is 96 hours.

Well I am totally frustrated with this game, Chapter 9 act 1 requires 2 arena wins! I have won5 normal battles without any registering and used gold for on an ultimate and still nothing has registered!
I have submitted a ticket for support but I doubt anything will happen as I have 2 chapters to complete!
This game is a joke, so many blunders and errors of late and nothing is fixed!

I completely agree!! I depleted all my food stores and leveled my PG dragon up to a 13 and still lost a few times to dragons that a yellow/stone couldn’t beat...I spent all evening battling & then having to wait to heal my PG before trying again. I can definitely feel people’s frustrations! I was getting there myself but was able to finally get past it. Now all I have left is the last 4 battles & I‘m finally done! Tales takes up so much of my food I honestly wouldn’t have even done this event if it wasn?t for earning the tokens for the Strongshine dragon. I hope they don’t do this to us again though.

Well, I used a hatching boost to hatch the Primal Growth dragon the same day I crafted him. He evolved to juvenile the middle of the next day and I set an alarm to wake up in the middle of the night to finish evolving him to adult and send him on his way to being Epic. I did manage to win the one Primal Growth battle at the same time, but still, I didn't finish Chapter 9 until this morning though I am almost done - just 2 more battles to go to finish the Tales but it was way to much work and stress for the game.

I only got two requests for parts from neighbors and I have over 70 neighbors. I have to go check to see who's active but if they aren't, it's probably due to Tales and other issues. I rarely get item requests from neighbors anymore.

HUGE CONGRATS. This is the first Tourney Dragon that I didnt get in the past 2 years. And she's a beauty! I think I will have to drop 2 of my 4 high level Islands if I want to continue to win tournement without the luxury of videos. Again, Congrats.
