Yes you will be collecting from the Maple Trees and using the Studio.

As mentioned previously, the tickets are not drops from collecting other crafted items. It IS a crafted item specifically for this event. Once you reach goal 3 of 8, the recipe should become available in your Deep Fryer (located at the far right of the options). It requires 3 Director Horns and 1 Actor Headshot.

Yes this has happened to all of us. It is so tempting to go to studio and make item before you let the goal complete.
So you used the item and it is no longer there for the goal to count it.
Make the items for a goal and don't try moving ahead before goal is completed.

It just released (maybe an hour or so ago, as of this post). Basically, you will have 6 goals to fulfill that have NOTHING to do with the current event, BUT which may provide some event-related item (or items) or decoration at the end of the 6th goal.

You absolutely MUST make at least 1 of the requested items to fulfill the first part of the goal. For the rest, however, you only need to turn in (give) the required number. So, for the first goal, you must make 1 Pancakes in the Bed and Breakfast...but if you already have enough in your Barn, or you find them in the Market or a neighbor's Side Shop, you can buy and turn those in instead, and that will still fulfill the second part of the goal.

Actually finished the task and got the gorilla! Now I see that I need the gentle gazebo to place himy on my farm.... 500 gems (which I do not have, as I use gems when needed, and haven't accumulated near that many yet)... so spend real money (not likely), or just keep the worthless monkey in storage for foreseeable next couple of years.... yay!

The default response for most of the pets, when its appropriate habitat is not already out (and not already full) on your farm is the Gentle Gazebo. However, if you take out some of the other potentially appropriate habitats (usually the Wildlife Den or Exotic Enclosure are the best options) and then attempt to place a pet, it may go into those habitats as well.

Thanks for the info! When I had posted my initial comment, the jungle falls wasn't in my market yet... it "showed up" shortly afterwards. And when I first tried to place the gorilla, the only message only indicated that the gazebo was the neededay habitat, so I was pretty disappointed when I thought it was going to cost 500 gems to "activate" the pet. Still wouldn't know without having seen the earlier post here about it. I posted this info on my wall so any visitorsto my farm can see it. Most folks don't access the forms regularly, if at all.

Until someone gets to goal 6, we will not know what the final reward is. It might be components needed for the Film Festival goals (it does say 'resource' in the original announcement) but it may also be mining tools (if in case something is needed from the Mine to complete one of the later recipes). I do not THINK it will be a decoration (it has been decorations in the past), but it may be...we will not know until someone reports back to what the last goals and final reward are.

I?m hardly collecting any film reels from the pigs. I have 12 pigs, and I can only collect from them once every 2.5 hours. When I collect, I?m lucky if I get 1 or 2 film reels, and often, I get none at all.
It is physically impossible to collect enough film reels to finish the goals for this event.

Ugh i wish i had not turned in those items. Selling them would have been more beneficial. Why do they give an old expansion permit for all this work. I dont even use those anymore sigh

Hmm...so, knowing in advance that I only need 1 Completed Film Can and that it does not need Actor's Headshots, I can start making all the extra items that I need for the Farm Film Awards, right? And, knowing that I only need 1 Completed Film Can, I can sell any extra Film Cameras and Cold Sodas that I do not need, right?

Anything to just reclaim some inventory space!

My pigs are not handing over any Film Reels, and I think I know why: they are all shooting audition reels to send to agents in hopes of becoming the next big animal star.

That said, if anyone has Film Reels they don't want or need, please let me know.

This event is unfair! I spent days and most of my cash to finish and just won the King Kong character, and now I can?t put him on my farm, because I can?t afford 500 gems for the gentle gazebo!! And, just so you know, I purchase gems regularly since I began playing this game 4 months ago!
You *******s should give us a way to display our hard won prize. Now it will just sit in storage, and all enjoyment of this event and this stupid game is gone.
You should be ashamed of yourselves for dangling a useless prize in front of us, and now I hate this game.

It was reported that the Movie Star can go into the Jungle Falls habitat, which should be available for purchase with coins, rather than with gems. When you do not have the habitat already out on your farm, the default alert is to refer the pet into the Gentle Gazebo. However, the text on the back of the Movie Star's card should say where its appropriate habitat is?

The text on the back of this pet didn't list a habitat but a few players posted in the thread where the Movie Star can live.

Very very disappointed. I recommend stating this somewhere in the instructions so people can decide whether they want to waste time winning the pet if they don?t have the gems for the habitat.

Read the top line post one page one it tells you he can live in the Jungle Falls Habitat.
The Gentle Gazebo is the default habitat for all the pets.
The Jungle Falls should be for sale in your market or you could already have it was won in a previous event.

Sigh...just 19 more Film Reels to finish the event and invite the Movie Star to move onto the farm. I don't think my Pigs understand that, if they hand over the Film Reels, they'll be able to meet the Movie Star and get some first-hand training and coaching, and then they can submit much, much better audition tapes...
