Once you complete goal 9 and have not collected enough masks to get the final individual prize of the Glimmergras Dragon, you will get this additional goal in your book. If you have, then it will probably just flash up on the screen as complete.

Goal 1:
* Tend to animals 0/10 | anything with a watering can or a yellow arrow works, doesn't have to be an animal at all!

Goal 2:
* Clear rocks 0/4 | any rock, plant in a log (2 chops so quickest), old log also work
Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp, +1 Faerie Chest

Goal 3:
* Defeat monsters 0/4 | auto spawn from Lair of Beasts, Sparing Pit & Prison, plus found in the event trees and of course dire boars from the mushies
Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp, +1 Faerie Chest

Reminder to everyone that chopping the Faerie Chests counts towards the Clearing Rocks goal.
So if you save the chests from the day before, you only have to chop 1 other Rock Outcropping/ Plant in a Log.
I realize it not the most useful tip for this particular event, because we already have to chop a lot of Rock Outcroppings, but still good to know.

It's also a good idea to chop your rock outcropping only 19/20. Then you can finish them off with one chop when you get the goal.

Thanks for the screenshots, Giselle! I agree, the dragon looks great, but I'm not convinced it's worth the effort yet. I hate chasing after fangbeasts, they are notoriously elusive during such events.
I wonder what the fully upgraded carriage will drop?
They haven't received the memo in my kingdom as yet. I'm sure it's only a matter of time though. Cows and rock outcropping are getting them to show up so far.

It was showing all zeros before I opened a chest. Now I can’t tell because I don’t know how many were in chest. Only one that seems to have drops is the gator!

Any pond seems to work. NOT a guaranteed spawn though. I got one to spawn after clearing 10 ponds. *Sigh*
Princess Lorelei (the mermaid, as opposed to the Princess Lorelei's fountain) also spawned one for me. Still wondering about that? *scratches head*. Is that a pond or a mermaid? I haven't gotten it to spawn from fountains or the other mermaids, but maybe it does? No idea. I got my first spawn from the Faerie Pond.

With me the more "expensive" cows gave higher purple string drops than the regular cows. Chopping rock outcropping gives fangbeast quite often (and more rarely direboar). Approx. 2 leaves from Aspen trees which makes it approx 3 chops per leaf. What are your drops from other trees, folks? In the featured menu there is willow, is it more fruitful?
Pity for gold nuggets, wish it was golden egg again which is much more often drop in all my 3 golden mines.
Alligator, yay! Wanted it since long! No matter what it drops.
Hope for no more babysitting the game for this event.

They haven't been carrying over the fairies in the atrium. Which is ironic since more fairies are the prize for completing it but yet, they don't show up the next time.

When chopping rocks, I am getting 3-4 direboars per fangbeast. Ugh!

Across all 4 accounts, all 4 Swampy Ponds spawned, and 3 of 4 Koi Ponds did. Zero Tide Pool Ponds spawned, neither did any Princess Lorelei Fountain or Fairie Fountain. One account spawned a Dire Boar from a regular Pond.

This is a little bit different than the normal pattern. Having great difficulty in spawning fangbeast. Doesn't want to spawn from cows or chopping trees. Direboars are what spawn from rocks and we don't have a event specific bush, tree, or flower that will force a spawn. Wish direboars were coded to drop the buttons. Boars also spawn from sparkling mines, which we also collect from.

Seems someone with Dyslexia was in charge of this event. Def different approach. Guess S8 can say they didn?t rinse and repeat.

Community Events are pretty boring in my opinion but as always, I'm loving the artwork - particularly enjoying the vivid colors and the pets on offer.

That said, I'm rather irritated that they've made all but one of the Atrium crafts deco-only this time. What even is that? I have a lot to say on the matter but it all boils down to this: I think all Atrium crafted items should be useful and that decoration-only items should be limited to market purchases, never goal prizes. After all, we use a healthy amount of energy to 'win' these crafted items so it seems only right that they should be items that will, in time, save us energy by offering useful drops.

Adventures for a chance of getting a flamingo more or less on par w being struck by lightning. : ) But it DOES happen! Last event, an informal poll indicated most people who get the prize do so in the 20-30 adventure range, but some get wonderfully lucky, and zororak has posted a picture already a couple of posts above on this page.

The gold pearl is used for doing an adventure in your castle. You have a chance to get the glimmergras flamingo (I have never gotten the main prize for doing these type of adventures). If you do this adventure you can get items for this event. So far from doing 2 of these adventures I?ve gotten a total of 2 petals, 2 strings and 2 leaves!!! Ugh! So not worth it for me bc it costs gold nuggets for these adventures and I?m getting really lame items!

Choose From Computer and wait a couple of seconds.
Select Choose File , this will bring you to your computers maps where you can select an image.
Select the image you want (select open) and then select Upload Files. (it's right beneath the Choose File option)

The gold pearl is used for doing an adventure in your castle. You have a chance to get the glimmergras flamingo (I have never gotten the main prize for doing these type of adventures). If you do this adventure you can get items for this event. So far from doing 2 of these adventures I?ve gotten a total of 2 petals, 2 strings and 2 leaves!!! Ugh! So not worth it for me bc it costs gold nuggets for these adventures and I?m getting really lame items!

Btw, can anyone please let me know how to post pictures?

Thank you for sharing this, so that now I can make an easy decision that I will pass on these adventures and keep my precious golden nuggets for other things in the game. Dont mind missing out on the flamingo, cause for me these animals are urban myths. Never gotten one in these type of events :-).

The artwork is lovely in this event. And I don't mind that the atrium has deco. The chests are relatively easy to acquire so I always go for those prizes no matter what.

FANGBEATS: the drop rate IS terrible, but I?m having good success with MINKS and FARMHOUSES. Some spawn in as few as 4 tries, others as many as 17. But I haven?t needed 30 tries, as some have experienced with cows/pigs. YMMV (Your mileage may vary)

GLIMMERFLIES: I?m having GREAT SUCCESS with RUSTIC WELLS. A fly will spawn every 3-5 tries. Unfortunately, the glimmering chitin don?t appear to drop until you reach that point in the story (at least mine didn?t).

TROLL CAMP: my first collection dropped TWO masks, but now the drop appears to be variable. None overnight or this morning...

I have had this problem before and was told it was from Apple's end. They told me to do something or the other which I didn't do and the problem eventually resolved without anything done on my part. But it didn't resolve during the event unfortunately.

Thanks to everyone for all the helpful information. I got a fangbeast from the farmhouses. I got one from chopping a tree. I have gotten a few from chopping rocks. I cannot seem to get them from cows or minks but my spawn rate throughout the day has been fine overall. I also have been getting the glimmerflies consistently from the ponds. I planted hot peppers that will be ready tomorrow since those can spawn the fangbeasts as well. Fingers crossed people.
I loathe the adventures though. I try and try each challenge and I never get the special prize. It is frustrating. But, it is what it is, I?ll keep trying and maybe I?ll get lucky on my next adventure. Or my next one. Or the next.....

Troll camp doesn’t drop the mask all the time. My personel opinion is that if a specific drop depends on structures with 6h cooldown the drop should be guaranteed. Please fix this S8, cause the event is already though enough. There is no need to increase players frustration level even higher.

Fangbeast do spawn from rock outcropping for this event. You will have to chop them anyway, but there will be direboars also. But they do spawn. So far just doing rocks, I'm managing enough buttons. Cause this is moving at a snails pace thanks to troll camp variable and amount of pearls needed to do anything

There is a ton of rock chopping needed, and the amount of direboars that spawn from them is such wasted energy. (I know I could park a beast elsewhere, but we need the fangbeasts too)

It is wasted in the sense that you don't need direboars for this event, but the other options are not producing great results. And checking farmhouses is wasting energy in the same sense that you don't need their drops, and my cows haven't spawned one fangbeast yet. It's a 'to each his own'-- situation though. I haven't decided yet if I will continue on or not. But I wish good luck and good drop rates for everyone

OMG! I am so Grateful I got the Flamingo from the very first try! That has NEVER happened before for me. I don?t know what the drops are yet; it has a five hour collection timer.

Is the layout of the forums changed? After logging in I had a heck of a time finding the storyline I wanted and it?s a bit awkward.

on the very lower left of the forum it defines how you view it. If you change it to Full Site or Child of Default Style you'll get it back to how you want it. Depends on what you had in the first place. I use full site so I can view and edit easier - it's the view that you see on your computer. Hope that helps. There are a few different colours and layouts to choose from...

Reminder to everyone that chopping the Faerie Chests counts towards the Clearing Rocks goal.
So if you save the chests from the day before, you only have to chop 1 other Rock Outcropping/ Plant in a Log.
I realize it not the most useful tip for this particular event, because we already have to chop a lot of Rock Outcroppings, but still good to know.

Just plain stupid. You buy energy packs from S8 or save energy to get ahead of the event only to be rewarded that you most probably have to wait a week to collect all the mask you need. In the meanwhile you already have all the other materials ready and its just waiting. This will cause a lot of players frustration and most likely players that support the game.....

Incredibly stingy drops. Sparkling mines drop 1 fabric textile out of 3 collections, it means 2 fabric textiles in 9 hours. Troll camp also drops approx once in 2-3 collections, it means 1 or even less drop in a day. Rock outcroppings: i spent approx 700 energy from my stored ones (i skipped several events which required baby-sitting the game and were impossible for me to complete due to my work). And after i spent this enormous amount of energy i have 100 normal pearls and only 6 golden ones. 2/3 of monsters spawn from chopping rocks were direboars which we don't need, 1/3 only was fangbeasts.
Now when i know the adventure flamingo seems to be just a deco (i mean its drops are not worthy)... I think i am not motivated to continue the event. Better I continue collecting energy for future Monster Hunt and just collect my faerie chests for the gator. Sad. I wanted the supercute dragon. Pity for wasted 700 energy. Disappointing.
However, good luck to everyone who continues, I hope your drops are better than mine.
And I hope the dragon will be in Black Friday sale or Christmas sale once, the colorful guy would look very good in my kingdom.

In this kind of event, I always get enough Beast/ Monster (in this case Fangbeasts) spawns just from acquiring the items already needed for the event (in this case chopping Trees, collecting from my Cows and chopping Rock Outcroppings)
And no need to be in a hurry, we have 11 days left AND if you want the Faerie chests, you have to defeat 4 monsters a day anyway.

The random drops from the Troll Camp can be frustrating, but for the rest I'm experiencing this as a nice and relaxed event.
I always like the 'Faerie Atrium Side Goals', but I don't really like the 2 (no drop) decorations.
But the chests are easy to get and I like the Glimmergator a lot, so I'm still happy with it all.

I am def not a math genius, but a lvl 3 or 4 carriage will not get you to the dragon in time. For that you need at least a lvl 5 or higher carriage. I am a low lvl player and we ?only? need 16 masks vs 22 for the high lvl players. If the troll camp has an average drop of 1 mask a day then no high and low lvl player will get a lvl 6 carriage. Troll camp should have a guaranteed drop, cause not all players are glued to their devices. In principle I am already finished with the event. Got all the mats for a lvl 6 carriage and now I only have to wait days and days in a row for troll camp drops. Hoping that we all get the masks in time in order to gather the magic mask number for the dragon. In conclusion: art is as always great and thats about it for the event, which is def not fun due to the lousy troll camp drops.

It might be possible if you have tons of energy & can attack lots & lots of Glimmerflies; they also give Glimmergras masks. If you have $5 to spend & a lot of ponds (like 2 dozen at least), get the Value Pack which gives 60 masks & hit all your ponds for glimmerflies. Plus do Faerie Atrium trades for the glimmergras masks, that should be good for a dozen or so throughout the event. Otherwise it's hoping for the more expensive Value Packs to give the Troll Drop Masquerade Masks, or perhaps even finished Beaded Masks.

Well fine that is s8 prerogative, but trust me, i am definitely not spending money on items i get from common cows and common flowers!

Throw in 4 masks from the troll camp plus the trade tickets and energy and then maybe we have a deal.

Their sales tactic just baffles me!

3-4 times a day. It is not alternate for me. Every 3-4 visits I get one. It is hard to get to the troll camp exactly every 6 hours, since that 4th collection is right in the middle of sleep time

I only manage 3 collections a day. I generally get a mask every second collection. I still need 2 more to get the carriage to level four.
That seems slower than I usually am.
In these events I rely on getting a couple of masks from the adventure. Haven't got any yet.
It would take fourteen days plus six hours to get the 22 masks from the collections. That wouldn't leave enough time for the 25 items collection from the carriage to finish the event.
So it will take the adventure to rescue me, as I don't get up in the middle of the night.

If I calculated correctly I am all done with the necklaces and hats... I?m just waiting on the masks. I just collected from my troll camp and didn?t get a mask :( . I hope I can finish this event... I?m at level 4 with 3 more masks needed to get to level 5. I also wish S8 would give you those masks you get from fighting fireflies with ALL monsters... I wouldn?t feel so frustrated having to fight those dire boars... I hate fighting any monsters even for monster hunts... it?s my least favorite part of the game bc it?s so slow and there?s no quick way to defeat them. Anyways I?m hoping the troll camp will drop a mask every collection... I really don?t understand why it isn?t a guaranteed drop.

I would call it anecdotal evidence (whose results vary from realm to realm) rather than an urban myth, lol. Regardless, I do recall seeing a handful of players post that they felt it helped their drop rates. Like you, I cannot attest to this method myself. *shrugs*

I received 1 mask from the 6 or 7 adventures, no flamingo (of course). I just upgraded to level 4. I need 13 more masks. It will be close, I've already received my one for today, which I needed to get to level 4.

I am basically done collecting materials, just a few more of everything, now that I'm done with adventures and glimmering pearls. Which is good because now I can finally defeat the 299 hit monster to finish the hidden forest storyline.

How many of these types of events have we had with a trade having the option to get some king of creature for the side quest? This is the first time I’ve actually gotten one and completed the quest! I honestly had given up and was just trading in hopes to get enough items to upgrade. Stunned and excited!

I’ve participated in every event since I’ve started playing this game and I never win the main prize from going on adventures. Between that and not receiving the proper drops, I’m debating on whether or not I will continue to participate in anymore events. The game should be challenging and fun, not impossible and frustrating

I didn't go looking for fangbeasts anywhere else since I got enough from chopping rocks. I do get dire boars but I figure the energy used to defeat boars will be less than collecting 50 cows to get a fangbeast. I'm pretty much done, but I did get quite a few masks from adventures. My troll camp's drop rate was close to 50%. I believe that 50% is programmed in the system, if you're getting a lower drop rate it's likely to improve so hang in there

It took me 28 cows, 24 larkspurs, 23 tree chops and 15 white trillium to spawn a beast. I don't think I've ever had that happen. I usually need to park a beast on those items. I just need any monsters for the dire faerie quest. (2 more fangbeast would be nice, since I need 2 buttons ;) )

I don't understand why people are having such a difficult time spawning Fangbeasts.
They spawn from Rock Outcroppings and we have to chop so many of them. Just don't park a monster on your board and collect the resources you need anyway.
And don't stress about Direboars, they aren't so bad.

I've been trying the 'put your Troll Camp back in storage for a couple of minutes after collecting' method, and I think it helps.
I would recommend trying it! (just don't forget to put it back out)

Gotta say I am super disappointed.
It is just a recolour and resize (it?s bigger) of the Jolly Jester.

After the release of Grimaud, the Trumpeter and the Drummer I was secretly wishing for a new Jester character to replace my Jolly Jester statue.
This new statue falls waaay under.

Feeling everyone?s pain about the troll camp collections and fruitless adventures! But it wouldn?t be fun if it wasn?t challenging I guess. I have done maybe 7 adventures so far and no flamingo. I do wonder what the chances are of receiving him? The last storyline I did SO many adventures and nothing. So I hate to fall down that rabbit hole of frustration again. I got a mask from the troll camp today which is exciting because my last 3 collections did not give me one. So starting today on a good note. I've gotten more than enough fangbeasts from the rock outcroppings. Even if people have enough pearls, my experience is that it is more energy-efficient to continue using that than gambling on farmhouses and other stuff.

My troll camp is actually doing better than last event. With that and adventures, I'm feeling good about my pace for once.

Usually, I don't care that I don't get the random drop from adventures. It's meant to be a lottery, not a guarantee and gambling isn't really in my nature. HOWEVER this time I *really* like the prize. That flamingo is gorgeous. I'm actually tempted to keep going for it even after I am fully upgraded, my personal philosophy aside. This is a tough one but I'm going to resist. I have plenty of other stuff to do in my kingdom and limited energy. Best of luck to everyone else though!!

I've just noticed that we didn't get any scrolls from this event, only crowns. I don't need any more crowns, I have over 3000 of those while I've bought everything in the town square. Meanwhile I'm just 60 scrolls from getting my last character in the academy. Is this intentional or is it an oversight? We've been rewarded with a mixture of crowns and scrolls in recent events so I'm wondering why no scrolls this time?

Haven't seen so disappointing event since long. Super rare drops make this event impossible to complete without gems. People who collect from Trollcamp 4 times a day - when do you sleep? Last time i set timer for collecting in the night brought me so bad migraine that I had to stay in hospital, so this time I am not doing it anymore. Frustrating event.
I am doing only the chest thing to get the gator, but chests drop incredibly few yellow faeries, so not sure i'll be able to get the gator as well.

I don?t know if you have him already but the guardsman is really good. You get 2 guard dogs and they give you simple feasts, longswords and light armor.

Super lucky since I only do a couple Adventures with the supplies I already have from participating in the event. (just in the hopes of getting the mask)
He's beautiful. :)

I won't repeat it again after this, but I just want to say one last time :
The method of putting your Troll Camp back in storage (a couple of minutes) after collecting from it and then putting it back on your board has helped me a lot.
I would definitely recommend trying it.
Of course it doesn't guarantee a drop (so don't stop after 1 failed try), but from what I experienced it raised my drop rate.
And it doesn't cost anything to try.
I just wish everyone the best drop rates possible. Good luck to all!

Edit, Glimmergras Flamingo is a multidropper.
On my first collection it dropped : Mermaid Scales, Roast Chicken, Water, Fuzzy Moss AND Eggs!

My first collection of the glimmergras flamingo was mermaid scales, eggs, and maybe something else. I'm SUPER happy about the mermaid scales (it dropped 3) because I've been having a huge shortage lately. I was even contemplating buying a second mermaid pond so this will save me some gems!
Yeah I'm loving my glimmergras flamingo. They're like a mermaid pond (guaranteed mermaid scales, water, moss, chance of fish) and a chicken combined (egg, roast chicken), and they take up only 1 space. Awesome. I haven't yet got a golden egg from them but considering how I'm always maxed on golden eggs it's hard for me to check. But I won't be surprised if they also have a small chance of golden egg drop.

Also for some reason I never realized that the fountain from the academy storyline is also a mermaid pond with guaranteed multiple mermaid scale drops! You can always try contacting support and explain what happened. No guarantee they'll credit you back but it's worth a try.
Make sure not to mention "accidental purchase" or "gem trap". Maybe try something along the lines of you not being satisfied with your purchase and you would like to return the item for a full refund?

I got the dragon yesterday, very cute 1x1. First drop was wisp lantern, jewel and a rat tail. Nothing special, but I wasn't expecting that much. Most of the creatures I got from events have very low treasure drop rates and rarely give something shinny :-). Artwork is great, so very happy having him. Flamingo will as all the creatures you can get from adventure events remain an urban myth for me. Mostly because I don’t see the point of chopping loads of stones to get some golden pearls. I really can use my energy for other matters and with having 4 runs you need the luck of the devil to get it :-). Please mind that I am a low lvl player, so for me is a bit easier to collect all the mats for the carriage. Loads of luck for all the other players still struggling to get all the required carriage mats.

My carriage is fully upgraded and if I'm diligent, I should get the dragon tomorrow. The alligator in 2 or 3 days.

I like the art of this event but the troll camp is a major frustration for everyone every time an event requires it.

Do you know what would make up for it? A monster hunt...

Or just make it a guaranteed drop & if that's bad for the 'game economy' up the craft requirement to 2 of that item instead of one.
The randomness of the troll camp is working against a lot of players S8! It's easy to fix!

The troll camp drops are terrible, the fangbeasts are off on holiday in someone else?s kingdom, and even the amount of fairies dropping from the chests seem to have have reduced.
Out of all these types of events, I reckon I have won the prize from the adventure only once, despite going on dozens of adventures. 😕😕

I have been playing for 5 yrs. Have supported this game to the tune of $4,117.35 (I just totaled my receipts) and still cannot upgrade to win the Dragon although I have the items necessary to be at level 5! I have been getting 7-10 logins daily to collect masks since this event started (10 on nights I couldn't sleep!). One account got the level 6 upgrade yesterday, the other 3 will be today. If I hadn't done adventure after adventure I wouldn't be finished this early (am trying for at least 1 adventure a day minimum). One account got the Flamingo during the first adventure, the other 3 have no flamingo. This is the first adventure animal I have gotten in months! I hope I will make it to the alligator; play will be limited after this weekend, and I too notice the faerie chest drops seem low. (one account has mmmm 42 of 70 yellow fairies needed & I have done all 3 goals daily) I have only been doing Masks in the Atrium until I can go for the alligator. Troll camp drops have generally been less than 50%, I too had a few "one mask drop per 3 collections" days (I can't do 4 collections a day! Cheers to those able to set timers & do it, but wish it wasn't necessary) If I didn't have any mask drops from adventures I wouldn't be done. I think I will be able to make it to the dragon. Off to visit community members......

For two days i only received 1 gold pearl from 5 rocks, that is 100 energy for 1 pearl and i need 5 to do an adventure. Today the rate has picked up but its ok, i only did this event to get to the community prize for the energy boxes. Therefore i am done with this event because i hit that goal just now, i don't need the dragon or the flamingo or anything. If i make it to the goal of 100 crowns that will be nice but i am not putting anymore energy into putple masks nor gold pearls. I will not spend money on these abysmal prizes. S8 will have to offer better prizes and GUARENTEED prizes before i spend money on gems.

I still have a lot of land to open up, i will just spend my energy on that for a while.

This is NOT a good thing. I finally made 1,000 masks and won the cute dragon. I placed it on my board very happy to have finished the event. Closed my game. Came back to collect a trade ticket late from the exchange and my dragon was GONE. No where to be found. Not on the board or in my inventory.

How do I fix tix this? Is it fixable?

Just wrong.

Maybe you could try to force close the game and start it up again.

I did. Force closed, nope, no dragon. Then I deleted and reinstalled, zipola, no dragon. There have been too many weird things happening with my game over the last few months, the worst was a huge gem trap, twice and I am very careful. Getting discouraged. Have played for years but now loosing interest.

A similar thing happened to me during an event. I lost the prize from the event after I had placed it. I had to contact support and they put it back in my game. That is probably the only way you'll get yours back. Good luck.

My first collection from the dragon was...

One single iron and a black flag for elvenite.

I'm maxed out on bone, creeptooth, fur, and jewels (of the listed drops) so those might have dropped. But I'm not maxed on any of the other potential drops. Not going to lie, a single iron ore for all that work is a bit upsetting.

My troll camp isn't dropping masks often enough either. I reported it , but still no fix. At this rate, there is no way i can complete the event without spending $.... very disappointing !!
I used 20 gems to buy a mask. Less than speeding up troll camp.

Finished event today on lower level account and need one more mask for main account. Need one mask with none the last two from troll camp today so will finish tomorrow sometime. No more adventuring for me as it will be “business as usual” in the realm trying to expand. With that said, if S8 would let us would anyone want to a exchange Circadian with the Glimmer Gras Flamingo!? Circadian sleeps all day under the Palm trees and has been no help in the realm!! Lol!!

Lol, it is really a pond. First collection was just water and no mermaid scales at all. Feels a bit cheap to me, but anyway its a 1x1 pond which is helpfull in my overcrowded queendom.

I can not get a monster to spawn (any monster, not event monsters) I just cleared everything that typically I can't clear without one spawning and NOTHING. Getting my last 3 titanium faeries will be close.

I got an earth wisp, jewel and creep tooth from my glimmer dragon...blah! He is definitely cute and I hope his drops get better bc I don?t need any of those items.
