Event information


1. The Wee Little Pig - complete these goals and upgrade the Piggy Cottage to win the Pork Chop the Prancing Pig - kingdom citizen. The 3 new event beasts drop pig tokens to exchange in the Pig Pen Market.

* Big Bad Skunkupine - spawn from trees. 5/5 hits to defeat, so you don't get many (or any) tokens when defeating.
* Big Bad Fangbeast - spawn from farmhouses. 8/8 hits to defeat, so you might get a few more this way than BB Skunks.


2. A Putrid Perfume - complete this goal to summon a Mud Puddle Pig, a Big Bad Skunkupine and a Big Bad Fangbeast to win the Biggest Baddest Wolf (who drops coal, earth lanterns, earth wisps, iron ore, trade tickets)

Notes about pigs from other players: (random drop)
My royal pigs work for collecting mud, I get maybe 1 mud for every 5 pigs
I got mud from Gnome Pig, Sir Pigglesworth, and the Royal Pig
Sir Pigglesworth, Gnome Pig, Royal Pig, Pig and Spring Piglet all worked. It is not a guaranteed drop. I have 8 black pigs and only got 1 or 2 from them.
Albino pig works too

* Defeat the Biggest Baddest Wolf 0/1 | random spawn from the Piggy Cottage. 12/12 hits to defeat.
* Gather damaged helmets 0/2 | random drop from defeating the wolf. Wolf also drops pig coins.
* Search the sparking mine 0/1
* Gather armor shine 0/8 | also not guaranteed drop. You need 8 per repaired helmet, so 24 in total
* Forge repaired helmets 0/3 | Magic Forge, 1.5 hours - 2 damaged helmets, 8 armor shine, 30 iron ore | craft has 2 hours, but it's really only 1.5 hours.
Rewards: 170 coin, 20 xp


Goal 10:
* Place the Pig Pen
* Recruit Armored Pigs 0/3 | Piggy Pen, 4 hours - 1 repaired helmet, 1 light armor, 1 longsword | MAX 3
* Upgrade the Piggy Cottage to Level 6
Rewards: 180 coin, 20 xp, 1 gift bundle (auto opens with 25 crowns, 10 academy scrolls, 1 Big Bad Rug (deco))


You need all three armoured pigs before you can get to the next goal where furs and twines start to drop.
Before the third one is ready to collect, make sure you do not collect from the two you have finished and placed on your board.
This way, as soon as you get to goal 11, two of the armoured pigs are ready to collect for its twine.

You can craft the clubs, beams and roofing materials in advance though. They count towards the final goal.


Goal 11:
* Tend to Armored Pigs 0/1 | 2 hour collection timer. Swine twine is a guaranteed drop. You may spawn fangbeasts from the armored pig as well as the BB Wolf.
* Gather swine twine 0/18 | guaranteed drop of 1 only per pig
* Defeat the Biggest Baddest Wolf 0/1 | BB Wolf will now spawn from the Armored Pigs as well as the Piggy Cottage (not guaranteed spawn).
* Gather biggest softest fur 0/14 | drop from BB Wolf
* Prepare a roll of fur 0/4 | Workshop, 2 hours - 18 swine twine, 14 biggest softest fur | In total, we need 72 Swine Twine and 56 Biggest Softest Fur
Rewards: 190 coin, 20 xp

Notes from other players:
* The 4 rolls of fur crafted in goal 11 count towards the 6 needed in goal 12. You don't always spawn the Biggest Baddest Wolf from the Piggy Cottage and the Armored Pigs. When you defeat the Biggest Baddest Wolf, it drops 1 soft fur. I have not gotten any multiple drops of soft fur.

Biggest prizes a very cute walker (adorably named Pork Chop) and a wolf that has a *chance* of trade ticket dropping (will most often be items I am totally black flagged on). Plus the fully upgraded building, which may (hope hope hope) be a guaranteed trade ticket dropper.

I am undecided. I got four black widow spiders in the last MH and they have been fantastic for me, at least four trade tickets a day and often more. I could always use more trade tickets....

My skip goal for that is 320 gems in the putrid perfume quest line. If anyone has 15 gems to skip, do so immediately!

I decided to just chop aspen and visit the haystacks, no monster hunting. It seems the building can be fully upgraded without going for the putrid perfume animals. I have a lot of benediction potions to brew too.

Anyone try fruit trees? I got apples but no twigs, 10 tries. I am guessing it has to be a choppable tree that we have grown.

Edit add: 2 loose straws from haystacks. 2 hr timer. 3 collections to get 6 loose straws. For just the first brick thing to make in workshop. I am out, unless some other source appears.

True, but there's 10 expansion permits. 10! Those are usually in the $10 packs, and it seems there are only 1-2 when it's expansion permits. Usually the initial $5 pack has trade tickets, if I am remembering correctly.

Biggest prizes a very cute walker (adorably named Pork Chop) and a wolf that has a *chance* of trade ticket dropping (will most often be items I am totally black flagged on). Plus the fully upgraded building, which may (hope hope hope) be a guaranteed trade ticket dropper.

I am undecided. I got four black widow spiders in the last MH and they have been fantastic for me, at least four trade tickets a day and often more. I could always use more trade tickets....

Or I could sit this long one out and complete the academy quest line. The voices of others appreciated.

My black widow spider has never given me a ticket. What's with that.

The badskunpine drops are very low, and sometimes a coin drops but doesn't show up in inventory.

Edit: Actually I have a widow queen and an armored widow and a baby widow, cannot find a black widow, where did that come from. I'm guessing adventures, and I haven't had success with that for a very long time.

I hope the one hour collection from the piggy cottage doesn't continue. If it does I'm out. Can't babysit the game like that. I really hoped this time it might be 3 or 4 hours.

I HAVE been getting twigs from Aspens...drop rate is low...maybe 0-1 per tree, but that's what I had for the Elms as well, so I'll stick with Aspens since I have so many benediction brews left to make! Haystack drop is ridiculous...1 per collection every 2 hours and we need 6 to make 1 roofing material? Hoping we won't need too many of those! Bad skunk drop rates are a total bust for me....I've battled at least a dozen and had 1-2 coins drop max. Bad fangbeasts are definitely the way to go!

:) your new beast description needs to say "may" drop pig tokens. :). The big bad skunks don't drop them often.

My second haystack collection also only gave 1 loose stick bundle.

I really don't want/need another walker so I'm wondering what to do. I'd like to be out but I do need to chop boats elm and willow trees. Unfortunately on BBskunks (and regular skunk and fangbeast) spawn and usually don't give coins, so getting the monsters will take forever. The walker doesn't excite but the fun monsters do. Decisions decisions. I was really hoping for a monster hunt instead of babysitting a building every 2 hours.

Have we figured out anything about the pig's house? I got nothing again.

Aw....don’t be [tempting] I guess based on how long you’ve been playing, probably racked up several daily trade ticket producers already, am I right? It would take a few days to craft those 10 expansion permits. I would be tempted it those were Explorer’s permits. I stock up on gems instead lest I fall short on events with good final prize those give guaranteed energy or trade tickets. Don’t mean to ramble, just me sharing.

Elm trees are spawning multiple Fangbeasts and out of 7 Elm trees chopped I only got two Big Bad Skunkupines that did not drop the Pig Coins. Old Thomas isn't dropping anything either since the first collection.

As much as the piggy is cute, I am sick of events that involve growing and cutting down trees. The most boring activity in the game, and only suitable for people that don't have full time jobs where you can't constantly tap at your game. So I'm sitting this one out and going to carry on.....growing and cutting trees!....for the benediction brews.

Well, I think for many it's just a given that they'll work on the main storyline of they aren't busy with events and people don't like leaving uncompleted goals in their goal books forever.

That said, I decided a while back that I wouldn't chop a single aspen tree for life flowers anymore. I'm slowly progressing towards my 70 brews with the flowers I collect from my study circle and flight dragon.

Back on topic for this event - this one is a miss for me as well, and I haven't skipped an event for many, many months. I don't care for walkers, the drops for the pig, bb skunkie and bb fangbeast are completely meh for me, and while we don't know yet what the upgraded piggie home will drop, I doubt it will give energy. Yes, it might still be a trade ticket dropper, but I've accumulated quite a few guaranteed tt droppers, so I'm fine taking the risk of missing out on one.

My naming error - Widow Queen indeed. It is crazy how different drops can be for diff people. My armoured direwolf almost only drops 20 energy and the four queens once had 6 tickets AND an expansion permit.

1. I have been saying for ages that I do not care for the animals, this is a cstle story not a zoo story, after all and I do not intend to turn my queendom into Old McDonalds had a farm kind of thing.

2. I have very strict immigration policies in place and in fact my asylum centre is bursting at the seams; folks have been waiting for years to obtain residence permits and I can tell you, some will never make it.

3. We have been chopping tress in the last events ALL THE TIME. With the waste not, want not approach, I am already maxed on all sorts of beams and I really do not need more wood.

It IS like WW, and like WW, if you are concerned about losing energy, take a screen shot just before as proof in case anything goes wrong. It only and very rarely does.

The screenshot is just to make sure that in the unlikely event something does go wrong and you have to file a ticket with S8, you have "proof" of how much energy you had before, so they can restore it.

Just in time. Last event I was considering but getting sick in the hospital make up my mind. However I checked in enough to get that cute pig eating a turkey leg so not all was lost.

I have a procedure today and if all goes well tonight I can go home and finish recovery there. still will be tired but hopefully more time for CS and cross my fingers maybe enough time to complete this event. Looks like a cute one and it would be nice to have a pen for my various pigs to gather as soon I will have two more expansions.

I think I can manage the 3 animals in the Pig Pen (already have the Big Bad Skunk!) but I'm not so sure about the Piggy Cottage.
A lot of time and trouble goes into the first material, and that's just 1...

Between this being a holiday week and work/family responsibilities, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to stick with this event and I can't imagine I'm the only player facing these constraints. If these first few goals are an accurate portrayal of what the latter goals will be like then I'm never going to make it. As a long time player, energy isn't an issue, it's the timers and the poor drop rates - it seems like this is going to be an event that will only be finished by logging in every two hours which is kind of ridiculous to expect during a big holiday. I hope I'm wrong and thing smooth out but as of right now I'm not feeling optimistic. :(

I got mud from Gnome Pig, Sir Pigglesworth, and the Royal Pig on my last round of collections. Clearly mud is not a guaranteed drop on most of the pigs. On a positive note, the Fangbeasts, which had all but disappeared from my kingdom, have made a resounding comeback for the Academy storyline. So far, I am enjoying this event. The timers are slow BUT so far to upgrade to level four it only requires like 1 or 2 instead of the normal 4-5. So I?m ok with slow timers but it?s not an overwhelming amount of crafting material.

Yes, I get some - most often from Beastline display - highest chance for Gold token outside of monster hunt. I have gotten some ( including gold) from Unicorns.

Now that I've reached the goal where I need to defeat the BB Skunk, they are nowhere to be found. Before I couldn't clear a tree without one spawning. Now clearing 9 trees got me 2 BB Skunks and 5 regular skunks.

The mud pig is really cute, it's animated and it's actually rolling in the mud. If you don't wanna waste tons of energy and time fighting monsters, just skip goal for 15 gems and voila, the piggy is in your storage.

Also, I get twigs and big bad skunks from chopping aspen. I still need the last 50 benediction brews so I I might as well get it done. Too bad the skunks seem to be very stingy with tokens while the wolves give at least 1 token for a hit.

I do not understand-where do you skip the goal for 15 gems? on mine it says I can skip it for 320 gems. I must be missing something here. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me. :)

I can appreciate that they're trying out new ideas for events but something seems off about the rates and timers to me....

Between this being a holiday week and work/family responsibilities, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to stick with this event and I can't imagine I'm the only player facing these constraints. If these first few goals are an accurate portrayal of what the latter goals will be like then I'm never going to make it. As a long time player, energy isn't an issue, it's the timers and the poor drop rates - it seems like this is going to be an event that will only be finished by logging in every two hours which is kind of ridiculous to expect during a big holiday. I hope I'm wrong and thing smooth out but as of right now I'm not feeling optimistic. :(

You are definitely not the only one. Also a long term player, energy is not a huge problem, but I still haven?t upgraded because I can?t log in often enough to collect the hay pile which only drops 1 at a time. Also hoping I?m wrong but not as optimistic as I would like to be at the moment.

My 2 cents....Some events, even logging in every 2 hours, are difficult to finish when drops are random. There was a robot one earlier where I bought the first pack because I didnt want to be tied to my device....and I STILL needed to log in constantly to get the prize. I really wanted that prize, but I worked like a dog because my drops there were so random. It was the first time I couldnt easily finish an event when buying a Value Pack. Some people get good drops, some don't; unfortunately it's random. Especially when the dreaded Troll Camp is involved :p It's challenging, you may very well finish but if you are in the "low drop" group you may not finish unless you pony up for a Value Pack or two.

My strategy has been crafting gems, focus on certain events and use the gems to speed up on the last day if I haven?t completed it because I missed a few in the last hours. Right now I only play all in for events with prizes that give energy.

Yes, I get some - most often from Beastline display - highest chance for Gold token outside of monster hunt. I have gotten some ( including gold) from Unicorns.

Same for me. I even prefer Ivy drops to the troll camp. At least those are guaranteed twice daily. If my troll camp doesn?t come through soon, I intend to post eviction notices.

Second day seems much better. The new flash screens when you open the game give more information now, so we know what we are working for.
All the pigs seem to work with a drop rate of 1 in 4 or 5. Not sure about the spring piglet.

For those still unsure about the number of pigs about 25 will probably suffice. I have about 40, so I can pick them up as and when I choose.
I had lots in storage. Most fully fed.

Folks seem super annoyed in here... dang! I have to say, this is the first event that I chose to do one part instead of the whole. Focusing only on summoning these awesome creatures and put the hut away so I can focus on other game goals. I have never done that, always tried for both. But just putting that hut in storage was already a huge relief and is saving my energy. I only keep 5-6 walkers on my board at a time anyway, so I feel cool abandoning the building upgrades.

I am super into this event and am personally REALLY glad for the ease of play, because Black Friday is coming and I do not need anything else distracting me from spending gems. Also? That ten expansion permit was INSANE and it was so worth it. I now have three plots ready to expand much more quickly. That would take me ages to earn the old fashioned way.

I just leveled the pig sty and was waiting to collect and summon the biggest baddest. With 15 minutes left I spent the one gem. Got the token (for a nice change) but no monster and when I look it rolled back to level 4 and couldn’t be upgraded so I had to reset the game to upgrade it again and wait again.

Yup. Troll camp a random drop. Tends to be about a third, not sure what it is here. Some people have lower rates, some higher, just by chance. Just gotta sit tight and try again later. I didn't get one from my first visit either. Haven't had a second visit yet. Will gem speed right before bed to make it as cheap as poss.

My black widow spider has never given me a ticket. What's with that.

The badskunpine drops are very low, and sometimes a coin drops but doesn't show up in inventory.

Edit: Actually I have a widow queen and an armored widow and a baby widow, cannot find a black widow, where did that come from. I'm guessing adventures, and I haven't had success with that for a very long time.

I hope the one hour collection from the piggy cottage doesn't continue. If it does I'm out. Can't babysit the game like that. I really hoped this time it might be 3 or 4 hours.

There has been mention of several other items that people get tickets from all the time and I never get them from that item. Each farm is so different in what they get. The widow queen is the one I was talking about-sorry for the confusion. I do not think there is a black widow at all. My widow queens drop trade tickets all the time and one even gave me an expansion ticket a few days ago. I also have some buildings that never drop tickets but others have said that their's drop tickets all the time. It is just plain weird.

I do like the fact that getting all 3 of the Pig Pen monsters seems very doable, but all the waiting on random drops (for upgrading the Piggy Cottage) is a bit frustrating.

So basically, it takes you 12 hours to get enough straw for roofing materialX1 or 24hours for roofing materialX2. I know! There?s a chance to get more than one with every collection but, as luck has it, I?m getting one at a time. And that?s assuming a log on every 2 hours like clockwork.

Now I can look forward to 24 collections for level 5 alone - and who knows how many for level 6? And judging from the comments on the troll camp drops, that?s no better. This event takes tedious to another whole new level.

I hope after all this trouble, the piggy cottage had better be a guaranteed trade ticket dropper!

I'm not sure if this was answered:

I cleared 16 fruit trees, no twigs and no monster spawned.

Other than elm trees, monsters also spawn from crab apple trees but you also get normal monster spawns e.g. skunkupines and fangbeasts. You also get twigs but drop rate is not great. I presume you will get this with most trees that are grown. I only tapped on the 9 fruit trees I had placed and got neither twigs nor monsters spawned.

Yup, quite gruelling requirements. Also to add that armoured pigs (3 max) drop swine twine, 2h collection time, so far a guaranteed drop. Also spawned monsters like fangbeast and biggest baddest wolf.

Reward for goal 10 also included a big bad rug which is a deco item with no drops.

I can understand that our drop rates might be different, but for some people to get none at all, and some people to get them dropping "all the time", doesn't that seem odd? Are we all talking about the same thing? I have a Widow Queen and an Armoured Widow. Neither of them seems to be permit or ticket droppers. This is them. Can someone post a picture of the Black Widow that drops permits and tickets?

On another note, is anyone doing just the Putrid Perfume part of this event, like me? I want the wolf, but not going for the walkers or upgrading the cottage.

I am just doing the Putrid Perfume part, and only the Mud Puddle pig. I have decided to not do events that involve the Troll Camp with the utterly low, random drops.

Plus, I dont want a Piggy Cottage in my queendom. I would like to see more "Castle" or fantasy themed items too. Loved the comment that this game isn't Zoo Story hahahaha!

Woohoo on the Hay Pile, I gemmed an extra one so I wouldn't worry about the two hour timer as much.
I sold some of my farmhouses during the last sale so I could get the spooky stable only to find I still at cap.
At least the timer on those is only 10 minutes so not much of a wait.

I have one more Big Bad Clubs to forge so I can level my cottage to 5.
And nearly have enough pig coins to cease the production of the eau de toilet ;)

Some info for goal 11.

Biggest baddest wolf is not a guaranteed spawn for level 6 piggy cottage or armoured pigs. BUT unlike in goal 9, if they do spawn and are defeated, there?s a guaranteed drop of 1 biggest softest fur and strangely the chances of a damaged helmet is very much better than in goal 9 which is pointless as we can?t craft more than 3 armoured pigs from repaired helmets. Armoured pigs also have guaranteed drops of 1 swine twine each, not had more than 1 but if someone else has a rare drop of 2 or more, please do correct me.

Very frustrating, I know. There is no answer to that. Some people get more drops than others. This event has several things that have no guaranteed drop, so just keep on trying.

I am disappointed in this event. Not only do we have a few bottlenecks (troll camp), but the animals we can get from the pig pen and the big baddest wolf that is awarded when you craft all three animals are awful! The animations are annoying! It looks like they are sneezing all the time and the big baddest wolf is quite tall! I hid all four animals near trees and will remove those who do not drop things that are worth it.

I think all my farmhouses are spawning them. It can be up to 7 farmhouses to spawn one..

I finally crafted the BB fangbeast and I agree, he looks like he's sneezing.

Amid all the frustration- a bright note. My widow spider gave me 2 trade tickets today! Not that the earth wisps and wisp lanterns weren't welcome, but hey, they aren't tickets.
I think she heard me say she would be going into storage - great place for a spider though!

I have been collecting from biggest baddest wolf for more than a day with nothing dropping not even the pig coin. Finally today, I defeated the wolf and received a damaged helmet. It appeared in my inventory, but didn't show as a drop. So if after you defeat one, check your inventory. It may be there.

Reminder hint to all, including to myself - front load the hassle of making 3 armoured 'space' pigs to make the twine collection do-able.

Not making all three means either not finishing, not sleeping more than two hours at a time, or buying a pack to complete. Those things may be in the cards anyway, but at least stave it off w 3 little piggies! : )

Sigh.. a lot of waiting (and disappointment) involved in this event.

I don't like that things get 'introduced' so slowly. Fort example, that you can't start spawning the Biggest Baddest Wolf (for collecting Damaged Helmets) or start collecting 'Armor Shine' from Sparkling Mines before you're at goal 9.
I know this is usual, but it feels like it takes a lot longer than normal to get through the first few goals and have 'access' to all drops/ spawns.

The waiting for the Troll Camp would be less annoying if I could start collecting the Damaged Helmets and Armor Shine in advance.
I'm not really enjoying this event because of all the waiting and uncertain drops.

I do like the 'A putrid Perfume' goal, but I agree with other players the animation of the Big Bad Beasts could be a bit slower (less sneezing like). How they are now, I would rather have them un-animated.

I think they drop both 1075 and 2075 (random). Got the 1075 yesterday, but 2075 this morning.

Me, too! I've been hoping for a Storybook for ages, they're hands-down my favorite type of event... well, excluding those rare Baron based events that offer up free weekly Alis, lol.

I've just reached Goal 9 and am getting pretty nervous reading all the posts about how rare the required drops are even knowing we have 10 days left. Fingers crossed for some holiday magic to come along and bump the drop rates up a bit.

This forum has kept me playing through the frustrating events. I don't think I'd still be interested in the game without the foresight and support of this forum. I bought the max package for gems to prepare for Friday and guess what my spawn rate is for the BB Wolf? LESS than 15% between the cottage AND the haystack. Have had the two items on timer and ALL day only three BBWs. Guess how many helmets? If you said zero, you would be on target. Randomness bites. On the bright side - Not about secretly awarding players for spending cash.

i would kinda think the opposite to be the case if it was based on Gems spent by players. if one is a regular Gemmer in timed events, game would make drops more rare knowing player will eventually spend gems to speed things up/etc.. but, who knows, been two days and i am stilllll waiting for my first elusive troll camp club and i do rarely gem ahead/etc in events (except when its a guaranteed drop and under my 5 gems limit per item that i set for myself a couple years ago for i only buy gems when i will spent most of them on an item/s ASAP so S8?s gem traps/glitches can?t ?steal? most of them again!!)

No I am still at goal 11, 4 rolls of fur require quite a lot of biggest softest fur and swine twine to craft. I would imagine that as level 6 needs 4 roofing materials, 4 big bad clubs and 6 pigsty beams, level 7 will need 5-6 roofing materials, 5-6 clubs and 7-8 beams. And probably more than 4 rolls of fur...:(

Me too THREE times in a row my level 5 pig sty only gave me a star. It was bad enough when it took 3 times to get the wolf to spawn we at least got the pig coin. I crafted the animals for the prize but I was thinking of crafting another cute pig in the mud. I need the broken helmets to finish the goals. I finally got one crafted and was extremely disappointed to see I had to repair TWO more. This is IMPOSSIBLE when the beast only very rarely drops it and NOW won?t even spawn.

I have been playing this game for YEARS and I am getting so fed up. I stopped Dragon and FantasyForest years ago but kept playing this one because I liked the storyline and the various quests were doable especially with the prize packs you can buy. They need to fix these issues ASAP
