View Full Version : Fashion Spreadsheet on value of items

This is my first time posting, so forgive any errors. I made a spread sheet (google doc) of the values for each of the items I have access to on Fashion Story (I'm only Level 9, so it's rather limited). Would love to get comments/feedback.

Wow, nice work! Thanks for sharing. I guess it makes sense that the early items are the most rewarding so you earn money quickly to expand and decorate and get you invested in continuing to play. I wonder if numbers continue to go down for the higher levels or if they rise up again?

Thank you! I know, I thought that was so weird, but then after I rolled it around in my brain for a while, I guess it makes sense. Of course, I certainly can't sit around all day and order shirts and pencil skirts every MINUTE! :) (wish I could!)

Just updated with the Midnight Rose stuff (I leveled up!) :)

If you want to send me a screen shot of any of the other collections, I can add them in. Or just post them here.

You rock! 

Is all the math based on the idea that all items sell for 2 coins? Because I have heard rumors that the spike earrings sell for 5 coins each. Can anyone confirm?

Yes, actually it is all based on the 2 coin price. If an item is priced at something other than 2 coins, let me know and it's super-easy to change the formula. Good catch!

If you divide the amount of coins by the quantity of clothes you are getting then that will tell you how much they sell for. studded beauty - mostly sell for 4 or 5 coins.

studded bags - ?2,000 divided by ?400 equals 5. Sells for 5 coins.

I'm not sure which item it was but I've sold something for 5 coins.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't have the prices myself because the second I open my doors my racks are stripped to the bone, but maybe somebody else knows...

WOW! Fantastic work Crissy! Thanks so much for sharing! <3

Can I suggest you use it as your signature? I think it would be really helpful for those of us not-so-mathematically inclined, to be able to access it via your posts :)

I updated the spreadsheet once again. I missed the fact that the ******d Tops and Cranberry Skirts from the Sweet Diva line are 5 coins each. I'm trying to add the link in my signature as suggested by TheFluffySlipper. We'll see if it works!

This is a very GREAT spreadsheet, thanks!

But I want to ask for those items listing the preparation time as "1 day", actually do they require 22 hours only?
What about those items listed as "2 days", what is the exact number of hours? I haven't tried any of these items myself.
Thanks.

I've updated the spreadsheet again, this time with "Retro Queen" and "Flowers and Lace". I have not yet unlocked "Punky Sass" or "Princess Bride". If anyone wants to post screenshots of the order screens from those collections, I can add them to the spreadsheet.

I don't know exactly how long a 2-day item takes, so for now, I'm leaving it at 48 hours. If anyone wants to run a test on a 2-day item to see EXACTLY how long it takes, feel free and I can update. I updated the 1-day items to be 22 hours.

See the column "Item Retail Price". Most are 2, but several near the bottom, including Spike Earrings, have a value of 5.

What I've noticed is that it's really hard to build your coins up in this game. When filling the slots we obviously purchase the new items we want to stock our shops with. But it seems we are double charged. Reason I say this is when I go into my shop after a time it will say, for example that I've earned $42,000 but only about $2,000 is added on the total I previously had. Does anyone know what's going on with this? Why state we've earned a certain amount when in fact it's a much smaller amount we actually get? Confused. Have been trying to build my coins up and have been 'stuck' at around $300,000 for a few weeks

no problem is it hard sometimes to know where to post. Here is a current thread on your issue. Yes it is a current problem with loss of coins. TL is going to get a fix out, but it will probably have to be in a future manual update.

You can come post here so you can keep up with the status updates for this issue. http://forums.teamlava.com/showthread.php?19316-Why-in-the-world-does-the-amount-of-money-I-have-keep-changing&p=163058&viewfull=1#post163058

Hi Crissy!

I'm new to the game (about a week - Level 20) and say reference to your spreadsheet in another post. Without even seeing it, I'm totally greatful to you for spending the time necessary to put something like this together! Unfortunately, the link does not work for me. I get the dreadded HTTP/1.0 404 error (requested site could not be found). Did the link change or is it possible to access it someother way?

Thanks, LaV
