How to play?
1. For each day, you get a new set of goals and you need to complete the Smashin' Pumpkin goals (Part 1 and 2) to earn 100 Pumpkin Smashers and a Smashing Pumpkin.

Send 20 Planes
REWARDS: 200 coins, 1 Jack O Lantern Smashable, 3 experience points

The above two goals repeat every day.

The goals start at 3 am eastern daylight savings time and you have 24 hours from 3 am to complete the goals. At 3 am each day the same goals start over from zero.

3. Collect/smash 31 Smashing Pumpkins from daily goals, events or purchase from Market to complete The Spider Tree goal to earn the Spider Tree


How to smash a Pumpkin?
Place your pumpkin on your farm and click on it then click on the pumpkin smashers at the bottom of your screen.

What happens if I missed a day or 2 of the Daily goals?
You can also earn pumpkins from events!

Note:
(1) Pumpkin Smashers are not found in barn or cellar because they take up space. You can see how many you have by clicking on the pumpkin and see the number of pumpkin smashers shown at the bottom of your screen.

(2) You get a new set of Daily goals at midnight PST.

(3) Daily goals expire at midnight PST. They don't carry over to the next day. It's important to note this and convert to your own time zone so you don't miss out. You can use this Time Zone Converter (https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html) to figure out your local time. You can enter "San Francisco" for the S8 time zone (PST).

My grand jack-o-lantern gave me a sheep o lantern. So a great big nothing. Not a great evert, storm.

EDIT... oops, I actually got a black pumpkin stack. My mistake. I appreciate the new decoration, but I still think that all of that effort deserves more than just one decoration. It definitely should have been a pet at least, if not a pet plus decorations. I get it that this is random and I'm sorry to complain, but this has been pretty lame so far in my opinion.

Hey, just made sure to inform everyone that one of my neighbours (of course not revealing their name) got a pet no one has shown on this post yet. It’s actually a Halloween crab! This was from the grand pumpkin too

I believe the item that you win also is visible and goes to the top of the screen after you collect.

Unfortunately some people when they collect just get a +1 shown (such as me), we only see the decoration if we already have one of that same deco. So some people won’t see they have won a prize without checking their cellar. So everyone make sure to check your cellars afterwards! :D

You need to grow the Jack O Lanterns. Check the "Do the Monster Plant Event" thread. You should have received 4 of them at the beginning of the event, and you can grow them (as you probably grew the Ghost Flowers, Tentacle Fungus, and Eyeball Plants.

Darn...I really want to get the Cursed Husky (I already have the Haunted Husky and the Unearthly Husky), but if I do, that will drop my gem total down to 10. I guess I will need to hope and pray that one of the Jack O Lanterns I smash will give me another pet...maybe the Cursed Husky...

I get your frustration. I've been lucky with the regular pumpkins, but my two white ones were a whole lot of nothing. I feel like the randomizer really ought to spit out a pet for the white ones. It's a ton of work to get them, the commensurate prize should be a pet.

Is there any text on the flip side of the Fairy Hippo tile? If not, the most likely habitat is the Jungle Falls. After that, the options would be the Wildlife Den and the Exotic Enclosure. One thing you can try is placing any of these habitats out on your farm and try dragging the Fairy Hippo out to see which habitat is pointed to.

I got *****ed by the game today. I started the daily smashing pumpkin. Made the usual visits and the message came up for me to make 20 deliveries. I made 7 deliveries, then visited a neighbour and the daily event reset and set my delivery count back to zero. I'm absolutely gutted. I hate the glitches in this game.

I can definitely understand how frustrated you might be! I finally won a pet last night after smashing so many pumpkins and never winning one. However, the chicken popped up and I looked in my storage and the spooky dog I had just won was gone!! I closed out the game and opened it back up and went back to my storage just to see the spooky dog still go and my smashing pumpkin back in storage! I smashed again and got another sheep lantern. So frustrating!!!! Not the first time this has happened before. Last year I had won a ghost and the game took it away!

Try placing out different habitats (since it is for Halloween, maybe the Haunted House, and also maybe the Jungle Falls, Wildlife Den, and Exotic Enclosure, and maybe even the Rescue Pen). As you drag the Llama out of storage, arrows may appear over one (or more) of the alternate habitats.

The gazebo seems to be the default recommended habitat now, unless you already have an appropriate habitat on your farm (and as long as it has an open space).

Yes, it's a pet. Rodent grotto or Wildlife Den.
Mine lives in the Rodent Grotto with my Harvest Mouse. Actually they look almost the same.

I have just smashed the last of my jack and grand jack o lanterns havnt missed 1, and the only pet I got was a superhero raccoon, I’m trying really hard to just be great full for the 1 pet but woukd really love it all to be a bit fairer, some get multiple pets and it’s the luck of the drawer but can’t they be more shared out

I'm guessing that the Grand Jack O Lantern received after completing the It's Slime Time goal series is the last one for this season. And I received...a Spooky Bush.

Sigh. Unless the Spooky Bush is one of those special pets, I'm out of luck this year. Oh well.

I smashed all pumpkins during Oct?did not receive any pets. Just received the last pumpkin from the leader board event, had my hopes up that I would receive a pet, but no-o-o. Can?t believe with all the pets available to win, that I didn?t get at least one. Very disappointed ☹️

Right!! I wasn't able to win a pet from any of the regular or white pumpkins I smashed!! I smashed so many and nothing.. Well I did win the spooky dog at first one time, but the chicken popped up on the game and took the dog away and gave the pumpkin back and when I smashed it again, no pet smh.. The game did me the same last year during this event.. Had won a ghost last year and it took it back.. Makes me mad. Guess my farm is just unlucky. Would have been nice to win a pet

I neglected to smash two unfortunately on my baby game and I don’t want to keep them perpetually out especially since Halloween is over. It looks like you can’t sell them or store them. Will this change? I’ve read that some ppl are still stuck with those satellite dishes. Is this the same? Am I stuck with the pumpkins? Thanks to anyone that can answer.
