I never do.

I know some players would do it for Chapter 10 so as to get a headstart on filling up the "request from neighbors" and "winning four battles" acts, but if you have many good and responsive neighbors and a nice stable of fighters, then there isn't a need for it.

I cannot craft the corgi dragon, for Some reason I am missing one of the two blue scrolls.
I am at chapter 2 act 4, the mission is to craft a corgi dragon but I cannot craft it because I only have one scroll.

If force-closing and restarting your game does not help solve this issue, your only recourse is to submit a ticket to support. I feel your pain and I know you think you should not have to, but I am advising you to do so because the support staff DO NOT come into the forum to read your post. If you want an issue fixed, submit a ticket, explaining the issue(s) you are facing FULLY and POLITELY, and attaching screenshots where possible. The sooner you get the ticket to them the better because the weekend is looming ahead.

14 gold is the price for skipping Act 4, which is to craft the Corgi Dragon. Skipping this act would give you the 15,000 coins prize for completing the chapter, not the Tracker chart, which was the award for completing Act 3.

I'm curious, did you complete Act 3 by completing the breeding task normally, by paying gold to speed up the breeding, or by paying 30 gold to skip it?

Tromalyt> A similar thing has happened to me, I?m on the ?craft an corgi dragon? yet I haven?t been given either of the parts to craft it and I haven?t skipped ahead at all! It will cost me 1000 gold to buy the parts and I don?t have enough gold saved. At this rate I will lose out on three dragons, four if you count the extra one available from the craft shop at the end but I already have this one.
A similar thing happened to me a recently where I didn?t receive the second part to craft the second dragon. I tried everything to remedy this and nothing worked, I submitted a ticket but had no response and in the end paid 300 gold for the second part. S8 then replied to my ticket after the event, so if I hadn?t paid I wouldn?t have been able to get all the dragons. I submitted another ticket to s8 asking explaining the situation and they did refund me the 300 gold. I?m so frustrated this time as I don?t have the gold available and I refuse to spent my own money buying gold to fix a bug on the game!!!! I?ve never missed a Dragon from the tales since they began (or from battling) so this will be a real kick in the teeth for me. S8 please help and fix this bug for the future...

14 gold is the price for skipping Act 4, which is to craft the Corgi Dragon. Skipping this act would give you the 15,000 coins prize for completing the chapter, not the Tracker chart, which was the award for completing Act 3.

That is not what It says in the screenshot I took and I posted. It says to skip 4th act pay 14 gold and the prize is a blue scroll thingy. That is what the game told me, you can see it in the pic above. It is not photoshopped or anything.


I'm curious, did you complete Act 3 by completing the breeding task normally, by paying gold to speed up the breeding, or by paying 30 gold to skip it?
I did not pay 30 gold to skip act 3 but I used a boost and some gold to finish a 14+ hours breeding.

So, we are at least 3 players in the forum with the same problem this time!
They replied to me some hours ago, with a pre-fixed message asking me to explain to them which item is missing, if it is an event item etc. while I have already explained everything to them with details and screenshots too. It is pretty obvious that they can't handle the amount of the tickets and they try to earn some more time, just by replying pre-fixed messages, without even reading our tickets.
Unfortunately, this is a rather standard S8 support reaction lately...
So, I re-replied them the already explained situation once again and I am waiting patiently, hoping for a quick fix, as I have never lost an event all these years!

I had a similar problem on Castle Story that was affecting only a few players, I posted on the forum. It was solved in less than six hours and everybody received extra items to help finishing the event.

Here, on the other hand, problems are not solved on time and no compensation is given (see my signature) It looks like there are two different companies.

Clicking/Tapping on the screen capture won't activate the link, you need to click/tap on the links on page 1.

In the meantime I am still stuck on the 2nd day, while the event in on the 8th day now and I am not sure what to expect from now on...

The game closed, as it’s been doing a LOT lately. I went back into the game after force closing multiple times and it’s on the part for me to craft the Plume Dragon BUT I only have three pieces.

I am *so* sick of rollbacks and the game closing on its own. I just lost a bunch of bingo points because of it. I collected for completing a task, started a new task, completed it, and when I went to get my points, it showed I still needed to collect from my previous task, which I had already done. So how it could not register that I completed the task and started a new one, but it *DID* recognize that I had harvested the Diamond Dates and didn't get points for them - I don't get. It is selectively choosing which actions it recognizes and accepts when it rolls back. Not cool.

It stinks it’s happening with your games too. It’s doing it on Bakery, restaurant and fashion too. I’ve forced closed dragon and even checked to see if it’ll work on my android tablet. I refuse to spend 300 gold for an error I didn’t create.

I really want the final dragon.

Looks like S8 chose not to release a Tournament at the end of this Tales event, so there wasn't an option to wait and fight low-level dragons. Still, the four random, level-14 ones that came up were easy enough to be taken down by Glasswing, Chrysanthemum, Valiant, and Mithril.

Join the club. I don't want to disappoint you, but don't expect any kind of fix on that and you have to be happy with what you got till now on this event.
We are at least 4 players in the forum who have opened an almost similar ticket as we are stuck on day 2 and the first Dragon (Corgi Dragon), but S8 hasn't fixed it yet, while the Tales expires today!

Well now my baby account can't get the required number of Plushy Beasts, and I know that there is something not working correctly because I requested from my other 2 accounts, and only 1 of them got the request and could send the Plushy Beast. 2 hours later and my other account still has not received a request. So here I sit stuck with 3 Plushy Beasts and unable to move on. :mad: I don't understand why the amount of gold needed to skip that step doesn't go down as you receive the needed materials. If it costs 35 gold to skip that step, then each Plushy Beast should be worth 7 gold, and if you get 3 out of 5, you should only need to use 14 gold to skip. But, of course, S8 wants their money. :mad:

I raised it to level 12 right away and it WILL NOT win in the arena, even against opponents with 65-80% odds. This happened to me in the last tales, as well, and I could not complete. I refuse to give these tales any more gold. If I don?t finish due to ridiculous stacked arena odds, so be it. Sick of the gold grabs, S8!

There definitely is something wrong with their “gifting” system. I put out the request immediately after the Act came on live and after two hours I noticed, from the “news”, that eight of my neighbors had responded. However, the game did not register that the gifts had been received, even after I forced closed and restarted the game four times and rebooted my device once.

I’d finished filling up a support ticket and was about to send it in but thought to give the game one last go; well, luckily the game advanced to the next Act when I started it up and I was able to complete the Tales Event.

I got lucky this time but who’s to say that Lady Luck will be with me the next time this happens. I hope S8 puts some effort into fixing the issues with the gifting system as well as the rollback problems, but I’m not holding my breath :(

My Rainbow Plume took out all 4 opponents in the 4 final battles. :) Sorry, I didn't make note of what opponents I had. I was so PO about having to pay 35 gold because I was missing one plushy that I just went through as quickly as I could and said adios to this event.

I paid for the Ultimate attack for the last Rainbow Plume battle. All day and only one suitable dragon to fight. Repeats of Blizzard types, Double Rainbow, Divine and many Red & Yellow types. Not my day.

This happens all the time. You'll need to force-close the game and once you restart it, the other two farming boosts will appear like magic.

I am certain now that my request for Plushy Beasts was not sent to all my neighbors. I posted on a few people's walls asking them to send the Plushy Beast in case they hadn't seen my "material request" come through. One wrote back and walked me through the whole process of how to request. Well, I had already done that. That tells me that he never received my request, even though it was sent to all neighbors. My middle account also never received the request. So I paid 35 gold to skip a step that I should **NOT** have had to skip. :mad:

Keep an eye on the forum for a fix. Usually we need to force close and reconnect with the server to refresh it.
You may want to keep screen shots in case you send a ticket in later. The fountain takes 2 1/2 or 3 hours to craft and then you have 4 battles (depending upon your level, maybe less). I hope you have some speed up videos to help you. Good luck!
