What is the difference between Skunkopea and Spring Skunkopea?

Should I get another Skunkopea (I have close to 50 skunk milk), or hold out for the Spring version?

I have both so I?ll try and pay more attention but I just collected and the spring dropped tomatoes and fur while the regular gave me wheat. Both give rat tails.
