Besides fungal aesthetics, is there a point to Builder's Guild?

Builder's Guild allows me to transform farmhouses, cottages and spires into "toadstool" version. Normally these buildings only drop coins. Once transformed, they start dropping toadstool crafting materials, so the more fungal buildings I have, the faster I can make them. But do they ever produce anything else, useful in other quests/crafting/etc? I do not particularly care for the "toadstool look", so if that's all there is to it, I will ignore it.

I don't have any toadstool items as I hate the look also.

If you do not want to complete some quest, is there another way to remove it from the quest panel?

i've seen some players who have some toadstool cottages & farmhouses & they have made it look good. but i made one toadstool farmhouse & that cleared it from my questbook. i don't have it out in my layout

Level 3 toadstool cottages drop mushroom caps along with other toadstool stuff which Nadina the elven bird always seemed to ask for, especially when I didn't have any. Now I have them in abundance and guess what the annoying bird has moved on to more hard-earned stuffs like spellbound blocks and beams.

Unfortunately no. If you want it gone just complete it and then store or, if possible, sell the items you have crafted.

I'm working on my Toadstool Cottage right now.
Once you have it at level 3 you don't have to do the adventures any more, because it will drop Shroom Caps.
So if you want to build more Toadstool buildings, you should start by upgrading your Toadstool Cottage to at least level 3.
I'm hoping it will be worth the trouble.
I like the drops at higher level, but if it's worth it will depend on if it drops more things at once or not.

Toadstool Cottage :
Level 1+ : Coins, Fuzzy Moss, Fuzzy Vine, Sparkling Toadstool
Level 3+ : + Shroom Caps
Level 7+ : + Mushrooms, Sugar Cane, Wheat
Level 9+ : + Cocao Beans, Strawberries

Toadstool Farmhouse :
Level 1+ : Coins, Fuzzy Moss, Sparkling Toadstool
Level 3+ : + Spawns Toadlette Soldier
Level 4+ : + Fuzzy Vine
Level 9+ : + Corn, Mushroom, Tomato

Toadstool Spire :
Level 1+ : Coins, Sparkling Toadstool, Fuzzy Vine, Fuzzy Moss
It goes to Level 9, but the drops stay the same, I assume the Coin drop will increase.
