* Help! I can't see the upgrade button? If you do not see the upgrade button, click somewhere else on the board and then click back on the item. The buttons should return. Force close if still not showing.
* Help! The event drops aren't going into my inventory! There is a counter on the top right of screen and all event drops go there. They do not go into inventory.

* To get the first individual prize, you need to collect 15 Mushroom Crowns.
* When you reach 15 Mushroom Crowns, the next individual prize opens up for you and will show you how many Mushroom Crowns you will need for the next individual prize.
* Once you reach 400 Mushroom Crowns, you are eligible for any and all of the prizes that are earned by the community (shown on the second row).
* The total number of Mushroom Crowns is updated on the counter as soon as they drop, not when they are collected.
* Be mindful that upgrading resets the timer.

Daily Goal Information

Each day there are 3 new goals you can do if you want to. These goals reward 1 Midnight Mushroom.

Midnight in the Mushroom Grove I
* Visit a neighbour and tap buildings with hearts 0/15

Midnight in the Mushroom Grove II
* Defeat fangbeasts 0/2

Midnight in the Mushroom Grove III
* Visit community members 0/5

PLAYER NOTE:
If you got a Level 6 Mushroom Fortress as part of the glitch of visiting neighbours when the event first started, these have now been recalled by S8.

If you had bought the coin Fortress in the market and stored it, it may be in the DECORATION tab probably a few pages back. It may also have been inadventently removed. Unfortunately, you might have to purchase another one.

Please post in the Bugs forum (link in post 1) if you cannot purchase the Fortress again.

Reported (my time) PM 27/5.

I've sent through a bug report about:
1. Not receiving daily goals
2. Not receiving the midnight mushroom (and/or that it disappears) when completing the daily goal. I included NewPams post above in my report given it's happened to several players.

We're working on fixing the sale, thanks for reporting this!

Also, we removed the third Midnight in the Mushroom Grove goal as some players were experiencing issues with them. Instead we increased the Midnight Mushroom reward of the second goal to 2x from 1x so you can still receive 3x total daily.

I will post all of the steps in the main goal of making this Mushroom Fortress. I apologize that it will not be as nice and pretty as SW does. i don't possess her magic. also i apologize in advance for mispellings. i have let my nails get too long and they are messing with my typing
if you are not at the step indicated, you can't do it in advance (aka truffle). of course you can go ahead and make extra mushroom beams or flags because those are needed. but if the craft is not showing up in your workshop then you are not at the right step yet. if you know that you are at that point then try force closing.

* i offered to help out SW because she deserves a break. but people PLEASE READ THE STEPS. IF WHATEVER YOU ARE TRYING TO DO DOESN'T WORK ----FORCE CLOSE FIRST-- PLEASE
it seems as thugh the 3 daily tasks of visiting 15 neighbors & **** to fangbeasts & visit 5 commuity members is on a 22-24 hour timer. so whatever time you first finished the tasks on day 1 is when they will show up the next day some people reporting getting all the goals again. some are saying they aren't. you can log a ticket w/ S8 about it.

****FYI for those not in the US. it is a holiday weekend (sat 25 may to monday 27 may). they will most likely be closed come monday the 27th. so don't expect any fixes on that day.

step 1
investigate mushroom fortress
gather (clear) wild mushrooms
collect crowns

step 2:
gather mushroom fertilizer
gather glowing mushrooms
gather wild mushrooms
make fairy dust mushrooms (in workshop): 2 fertilizer, 2 glowing, 5 wild=30 min

step 3:
gather spike mushrooms (clear trees)
gather mushroom fabrics (troll camp)
gather wild mushrooms (clear wild mushrooms)
make mushroom flags (in workshop=5 spiked mushrooms, 1 fabric, 5 wild mushrooms) 2 hours

step 4:
gather sporestruck wood (skunupines)
sportstruck moss (it was checked already)
wild mushrooms
make beam in workshop (2 of the wood, 1 moss, 10 wild mushrooms)
prize for step 4 shows a truffle trap. guess that is how we get the truffle we have to fight to get the swords

TRUFFLE WILL NOT SPAWN UNTIL STEP 5. HE IS SPAWNED VIA A POND. TAKES 10 HITS TO GET A BLADE. PER ME & OTHERS POSTING IT SEEMS TO BE A 25%-100% CHANCE OF SPAWN PER POND. People are reporting a 100% spawn rate using ponds

step 5:
make fairy dust mushrooms
make flag
make mushroom beams
gather mushroom blades (4) - that you get from spawning a truffle from collecting from a pond
uprgrae to level 2 (which is oddly already checked)

it also opens the steps for the adventure to possibly get the turtle

adventure:

Goal 6:
Make 3 Fairy Dust Mushrooms

Twice I have visited neighbours to tap hearts and get the midnight mushroom grove, placed it and had the game reset and undo all the steps. This isn’t gonna work out well if we can’t visit neighbours without having our games reset. So frustrating.

I have now done it 3 times and game continues to reset. This needs to be fixed. Soon would be nice.

Midnight in the mushroom grove part 3 allowed me to place the prize. Part 1 is still not working.

Also getting a glitch on Mignight in the Mushroom Grove 1...visited 3 neighbors, tapped 15 hearts, none registered. Force quit gme, visited another neighbor, 5 hearts registered toward the 15, but then they promptly disappeared when I visited next neighbor. Now I‘m back to 0. Not an auspicious start to this event! lol

Same issue with the prize. I think the glitch is that we should only be getting one fortress as a prize and something else for the others and this thing just keeps trying to give us something we already have. Wont keep playing until its fixed though, not gonna try and achieve other goals just for them to glitch out on us as well. I have other things I can waste time and energy on.

Community Event! We will need Red Mushroom Circles and Cows, Ponds, Sparkling Mine, Aspen tree

AND THE TROLL CAMP WAAAAH
on the bright(er) side, 2 out of 4 collections gave the Mushroom Fabric needed. 50% rate is better than in previous events, IF it holds up!

But it didn't (sigh) one out of three on one account. If they are going to random a necessary 6 hpur wait, at least have the first 2 collects be guaranteed. I am still on the original level, and Truffle isnt spawning, Sparkling Mine isnt giving the item, etc. Hope this one account can finish!

Looks like other trees give the items, and Fruit Trees working also!
Black, white, and regular cows working, as well as Gnome. I haven't gotten event item from a Birthday Cow yet, but hopefully that one works also.

lol best event ever or best bug ever maybe! Instead of getting a choppable mushroom thingy I've got the fullly upgraded fortress. Love it!!!
I also got reset from visiting neighbors so no 3rd fortress.

Tips:
You can pre-collect the sparkling mines and troll camp for parts, don't wait till the goal, collect now!!!

Also when you get the clear tree - any tree works not just aspen trees. Haven't tried fruit tree yet.

I've been kicked out of my queendom with the running horse for the past 10 minutes. When I'm actually able to connect, it kicks me back to making the mushroom thing in the workshop (which I already started to make). So back to collecting from cows if/when I'm back online again.

Is anyone else having connectivity issues?

Definitely annoying and frustrating that it keeps glitching. Its done it several times so far for me. I really home it doesn't continue throughout the event because I really like this one and I'd be awful if it doesn't allow people to fully play it

Someone said the drop rate wasn't as good as with growable trees. I got 5 spiked mushrooms, but I have lots and lots of fruit trees - I probably collected from 40. Then I chopped a willow, just to compare,and I got four spiked mushrooms from one willow.
I also did the speed up of the level 6 fortress, because I wanted a midnight mushroom (it's the prize for 15 mushroom crowns). I didn't get anything great out of it - just more of the mushroom crowns.

ok i tried visiting neighbors again. i came back it said i had won a mightnight mushroom. yay! but nothing in inventory. goal still there. and that **** 2 fangbeasts that i completed. its back.

the trick to getting I & III done (the neighbours & the community kingdoms ) is to do all at once. visit 15 kingdoms. dont come back to your own. it glitched on me times until i went and visited all at once. then i got my fortress

nevermind. i got my fortress. then rollback. and my work disappeared
Didn't work for me. It all counted, I got the 2 mushrooms then game reset and I saw only one mushroom (from community visits) and none of the neighbour visits counted.

Crab Apple tree worked for me for Spiked Mushrooms. I tried a single Apple, orange, lemon tree but nothing.

First Troll Camp collection didn't give the Mushroom Fabric :blue:

Why oh why is there ALWAYS something not functioning in this otherwise splendid game???
I already completed each of the ?midnight quests? 3 or 4 times... always a reset afterwards.
I used to be a big spender over the last years but now I am seriously considering finding a better game to put my money in.
Something else created by Gameloft maybe... never ever a problem in their games.

Then, after the 15 instead of going directly back to my kingdom I went to 1 more community kingdom to give it a time to register. I came back to my kingdom and got prizes of 2 purple mushrooms in my inventory. Worth a try!

Edit: I got my two midnight mushrooms and was able to place them in my land, however, the goals are STILL on my board for first and 3rd part????

Mushroom caps never go to your inventory - they count towards the event goal.

I managed to complete the community visits and defeat the 2 fangbeasts and received mushroom reward for each...but for the third straight time, I visit my neighbors, collected 15 hearts, received the mushroom reward and as soon as I chop it...system resets and...zip...it was gone and I?m back to 0 hearts collected on that task. :/

so we get these purple midnight mushrooms to chop to get deco (paths) or little people but we don't get the ultimate prize of Truffle if we dont get all 4 people.so its a **** shoot if we will get it. worse than the chests form the faerie wedding with some people getting the people & some only getting crowns

My goals just reappeared with correct reward. Haven?t tried them yet.
Nope goal said rewarded, but mushroom not in inventory and goals disappeared. So not fixed yet
I was able to finish Goal 2, but Goal 1 keeps resetting. Going to wait, I am running out of neighbors.
I am able to "finish" Goal 1.....watching the numbers tick up....but then the game resets, the reward disappears BUT MY NEIGHBORS STILL SHOW AS VISITED. So I think I will wait until S8 officially says the glitch is gone.

I got the "Viral" goal too, but then it disappeared like the other ones. I must have visited about 20 neighbors by now. All vanished.

I barely get any time to play because my toddler hates me sitting with the phone. So if this is not fixed soon, i won't be able to play this event...

wild mushrooms
make beam in workshop (2 of the wood, 1 moss, 10 wild mushrooms)
prize for step 4 shows a truffle trap. guess that is how we get the truffle we have to fight to get the swords

Just collected from mine for first time - 25 mushroom crowns and received 1st reward in the community challenge (midnight mushroom) so that seems to work
Sporadic Occurrence has moved on to stage 2
Midnight mushroom chopped and got 47 mushroom crowns (!!!!) and 3 filigree path

i think this might be the worst event yet. i was so hopeful after the last one went so well. yes it was energy consuming. but there were few glitches (*until afterwards when it stopped with trade tkts). i figured this one would go well since they had 2 weeks to get it working! & it isn't like it is a new style or anything. it is the same as the faerie wedding and the post office. just different building

Completed the side coal Midnight in the Mushroom Grove I TWO times- got the prize, then game glitched and it was gone and goal was uncompleted to 0/15. BOTH times.

also there is some thing that is "viral" i dont know what it is as it auto completed all 3 steps (like asking neighbors for chests) and didn't give me naything

Is it possible for S8 to check these things before going live? I?m already tired of the glitching!

S8, why is this the same problem every time? The events are all the same, just with different stuff, so aren't you just using the same code? Shouldn't this be running seamlessly? Why is it failing for EVERY event? Are you firing your IT department every month and hiring all new people who have never done this before?

PLEASE fix this! We love this game and WANT to play!

I also finished the goals to get the special mushroom, and then both goals were reset. So I did the neighbour one again, got the mushroom, chopped it and got 12 mushroom crowns. Then the game glitched and was reset, but this time the goal was still complete but I have no mushroom and my extra mushroom crowns were taken away. Please fix this!!!!!

OK...just went back into my game and here is something new (and ominous!)...A new storybook simply called VIRAL. Three goals listed but all blank goals, and when I opened it the first task self-completed, no reward. Anyone else seeing this? Honestly, I am quite afraid to open it again until someone can confirm what in the world it IS!!

i think that is the "request these chests/whatever from your neighbours" then its recieve 3 then 5 then 7. and you chop them and get one of the 4 little people. or a path. or crowns.

It say find mushroom in the Trol Camp and when I click on that It lead me to the inventory buildings but I do not see it there..

Have someone maybe a picture of the trol camp???
The Troll Camp is from an earlier event. It may be under Decorations instead of Buildings in inventory, if you have it
its tan & brown/black, with a waving reddish banner 3x3 on a 6 hour timer

I have used an enormous amount of gems going on adventures trying to get the rare mushroom turtle. Believe me, it is extremely rare. This is a glitch as well. Someone needs to look into this as well, because it is impossible to have not gotten it for what I spent already.

I’m going to put this here too: This event needs a major redo. Too many glitches. If it’s done hope TPTB return my gems because as I won’t be able to play over the weekend and the next few days after that, I gemmed up and finished it and received no goal prize. Nothing. I have a level 6 mushroom fortress (had 2 but one disappeared much like everything else) that I got from one of the side goal. The last step you have to have 8 of the fairy dust mushrooms, flags and mushroom beams. I used, but they’re still showing in my inventory. This is a mess. Hope it gets fixed without me (us) losing what we’ve already put out.

Oh but this is going to be interesting lol. I have a level 6 fortress and although I am going through the motions of the goal I wonder what will happen when I am required to upgrade it. Lol. Fun and games indeed!

Pika did respond about the reward for the mushroom grove goals.

The Mushroom Fortress Lv. 6 is not the correct reward for these Goals. We're working on fixing it to reward the correct item.

I?m having the same issue and the third goal was completed, I collected the mushroom thing and then it glitched and the goal did not reappear. At least the one for neighbors keeps reappearing, not that it helps any. And, where the fangbeasts at???? Mine have disappeared for good.

I?ve only had trouble with goal 1 visiting neighbors. I?ve completed it more than 6 times and every time it?s reset. Twice I was even able to place the mushroom and chop it, earning 4 and then 8 mushrooms, but game reset and I lost them. No problem at all with goals 2 and 3.

Twice I have visited neighbours to tap hearts and get the midnight mushroom grove, placed it and had the game reset and undo all the steps. This isn?t gonna work out well if we can?t visit neighbours without having our games reset. So frustrating.

I have now done it 3 times and game continues to reset. This needs to be fixed. Soon would be nice.

Midnight in the mushroom grove part 3 allowed me to place the prize. Part 1 is still not working.

Just happened the second time to me. The first time it was 15 hearts to tap then it was 15 neighbors to tap hearts so I figured that was why it reset. The first time it reset after I placed and tapped on the mushroom the second time it reset after I got the rewards from it.

I've got the supplies and it states to upgrade the mushroom fortress to lvl 2. Problem is, when I tap on it, there's NO options to upgrade. At all. How the hell are you supposed to continue the event when you can't upgrade it like it says to?
Force close will fix just about anything. If you have the goals in your book where it asks you to upgrade, then the upgrade button will be there after you reset the game.

I like the artwork for all these little mushroom dudes but am very disappointed that they're only decos. They'll be forced to endure a life stuffed away in storage since they're a waste of space. you know what the big problem with visiting neighbours? all of us who are active on each event thread have added each other as friends. so we ar all visiting each other and tapping on the hearts. i'm only tapping one heart on each neighbor so that the next person has at least one to tap on

ALTHOUGH, those of us who have queendoms that are at the end of the alphabet (like mine-didn't think about that when i came up with it) usually have all the hearts

So, to summarize the main rewards for this event after 18 pages of comments and a reread of page 1 posts at this point:
Level 6 fortress drops 400 coins and 25 shrooms... (anything after the event???)
Portia Bella will drop the sword, and simple/hearty feasts and ...?
Truffle drops ... tbd?
Turtle drops ...tbd?

Don't the rewards seem to have "decayed" compared to recent events? ;)

Yes I also can confirm getting moss from hearting neighbor's sparkling mines.

Reports on turtle's drops: (pretty disappointing so far) egg, mushroom, mermaid scale (maybe more but I keep getting black flags so can't tell)

Truffle has a 3 hour timer. First collection: iron, mushroom. Apparently earth wisp and lantern also but I'm full so I won't be able to get any drops.

Where do i find truffles ?From what I've read you have to fight a spawn from ponds, but I guess you need to be on the right goal first.
I'm still waiting to craft a flag, so I haven't seen any yet.
Same with beams I suppose.
My plan is to follow the goals as they come up. Hope that works out

When your buildings are hearted, they sparkle. Putting them in storage and taking them out again will reset the sparkle, or in another word, make them available for neighbors/ visitors to tap again.

Whenever I notice that my mines sparkle, I reset them. Of course it means I never get to collect them but hey I'm done w the event. The least I can do is help people out.

Side note: I used to do this with farmhouses to make hearts available when my kingdom was all sparkles way back when the game was a lot simpler and we used to visit neighbors daily and it was important to have a 4-heart rating. That was years ago, boy we don't play like that anymore.

Oh WOW! Putting sparkling mines in and out of storage gives moss.

Can't believe I didn't notice! drop rate is not 100% but hey it doesn't cost a single energy to put them in storage. lol. And no waiting time.

1. Check your board make sure you don't have any monster
2. Keep chopping mushrooms. You need them anyway and they will spawn skunkupines.

They took my 2 bonus fortresses away :( Now I still think I'll be able to get Portia without upgrading my fortress but since I already have most of the materials I wonder if I should just do it.

It's sad though the spots where my fortresses used to be now stand 2 big holes. For a moment there I thought I got to keep them.

Atm, putting sparkling mines away still drops mosses.

Agrrr heck I think I'll skip the fortress, tickets or not.

Check WAAY back in your inventory. After the tragic loss of my L6 fortress, my puny L1 was several pages back for some reason. It was also under the decorations tab, not the building tab. : ) If that fails, force closing and reopening might sort it.

I did check the inventory after force closing but its still not there :mad:

For last event I lost many items because I could not come into rhe game.
S8 give's a statud fir that. So disappointed because I lost energy, trade tickets and much more..
And now I lost again items because of the event isnt working good.. :mad:

Hope they check before they start a new event all thing so It will cost us not energy for nothing :mad:

Im really disappointed..

Have to buy a mushroom fortess again for 12.000 coins :mad:

Truffle spawns from ponds including Mermaid ponds.

My Hortensia?s timer just increased also. They seem to pull that garbage FAR too often. Also, the Post Office hasn?t dropped any trade tickets for at least the last 3 collections.

I also have to constantly login to the forums where I used stay logged in for days.

I almost think they WANT us to quit with the constant glitches, resets, timer increases, advertisements and the ridiculously long time to load the neighbor! Community list.

Another thing. I just bought 10 mushrooms and only got one filigree path. I only have 2 different mushroom people and a duplicate of one and I have bought a bunch. Storm 8 needs to do a better job. I quit Dragon and Fantasy Forest stories ages ago

Troll camp is 6 hour timer and it’s history of drops, from past events and this one too, shows that it gives one of what we need every other collection. It’s worse than Ivy’s hut collections every 12 hours that always gives the needed drop item.

Edit: When I stopped tapping the red mushrooms and switched to the new magic mushrooms I spawned two in no time at all. Thanks for the help btw.

I got all of my skunks from chopping the wild mushrooms. I wouldn't go searching anywhere else (except the Lair) for them. Keep chopping the wild mushies for now.

I figured my leveled up 'rewards' would go away but it still feels sneaky to do it in the middle of the night. Due to all the glitches yesterday it would have been nice to be rewarded some of the deco statues. I rarely win in the random drop game. On the bright side the troll camp dropped the needed item two times is a row, a miracle.

We we will see how the weekend goes. My baby girl graduates from college tomorrow morning. So I will be celebrating.

I agree with the others. Events with that follow this pattern, I always get the required monster by chopping the thing that gives the item required for all 3 upgrade things.

Just chop the wild mushrooms.

The past few events I haven't finished because I couldn't get everything done with real-life requirements taking up time. I decided to jump on this event yesterday because I had time. The glitches resetting everything made that a waste of my time for the most part. I did get to keep the mushroom crowns from completing the different requirements, but I had to re-do gathering parts for the mushroom flag (which had just completed), and now I'm waiting for the troll camp to give me another fabric since the second collection, of course, didn't work. I also finally got the second fangbeast, and when I did, that part reset.

Not helping my desire to complete these timed events, especially when the prizes along the way aren't valuable.

All wells, ponds, and mermaid's pond will work, my spawn rate has been every 3 out of 4 or five or a very good rate. Check to see if you have all ponds and wells out, it will depend on your energy available. I have 4 ponds and 10 wells out and it is more than I need.

I put all of mine out, but plan on reducing based on the pattern.
Oh and I did have a glitch at first where I didn't get the goal that told me about the Truffle dude, but did need the mushroom blade in another goal, and forced closed to get my goal to show up and the ponds to spawn Truffle.

Yes, I can confirm this still works. I now have over a hundred sporestruck moss. Probably won't ever use them but what the heck. It was fun getting something for nothing lol.

I'm not getting anything from neighbours' mines though. So that's fixed I guess.

This was always meant to be this way. You buy one for 12000 coins and upgrade it to level 6. We were NEVER supposed to get level 6 one on first day - it was accident.
It is like it normally is - you buy 12000 coins level 1 building- upgrade it to level 6. Once you reach higher levels it drops more mushroom crowns.

Yes, of course. What some us were complaining about was that we could NOT purchase or acquire a new fortress after the level 6 was removed. So we could not upgrade anything. We could not buy one in the market or acquire it otherwise. We knew or at least suspected that something would happen to the level 6 fortress, but we had no ability to get a new one. This has been fixed now, at least for me. Hopefully for everyone as well.

You'll get a new set of quests (visiting neighbors/community kingdoms and defeating fang beasts) every 23 hours. Completing those will give you midnight mushrooms to chop.

No, they don't accumulate. But there's no limit to the energy amount you have so say you collect energy, not use them, or use less than what you collect, voila you can accumulate quite a bit of energy. The largest energy stored known to date: 100,000 energy. I'm sure you can store more and to be honest I'm not sure if there's a limit. The only person who can test that limit is Puffhausen but I don't know if he plans to play anymore. Haven't seen him in a while. Does anybody know where Puffy is?

It doesnt grow beyond whatever the max is. So a weekly alicorn thta gives 40 energy will still give 40. That being said, some animals give random amount of energy, and occasionally give a big jump...my Wedding Alicorn gave me 100 once! But that was, what, from over a year ago?

Say for example, if I'm busy with other things, I try to pop into the game and tap my energy sources as often as possible.

Neighbors - check your gems.
I just looked up and noticed my gems are down more than 300.
I am mostly calm with the glitches in this event, but gems equal real money as I do buy often in order to do my part to pay for s8 salary.
I noticed this AM when scrolling down my Workshop...the button to buy a mushroom st 10 gems "happens" without any notice.... be werry werry careful...

Yesterday Ponds spawned Truffle virtually every hit....today I needed 6-7 for some. Put out all your Ponds (you should have 10-12) unless you are able to log in every 10 mins if your first 3 don't give up Truffle
