Dire Boars - are they extinct?

For about a week or so I spawn nothing but Skunkupines - not one Dire Boar in sight.
Anybody else experiencing the same?
I have plenty of Mercury Feasts in store and need those piggies desperately.

They do like a good rock outcropping and hanging out near water! :)

Mine usually spawn from stroberries, mines, and from ponds and wells. I get them too often:(

5 Rock Outcroppings later spawned (only) 2 boars...
Water (4 different ponds, 8 rustic wells, 2 fountains) spawned none...

Will try strawberries now - they are in season here in Germany anyway at the moment :)

Well, since event started and I need those red mushroom circles- they are now spawning boars like crazy for me.
