May brunch not giving credit for strawberry cake

Playing from ios v 12.3, bakery v 1.8.3.
May brunch part one, requires cooking 6 strawberry cakes. Didn?t get credit for first six, cooked another 2 , watched videos to finish cooking. now cooking another six. Still not getting credit..shows I need to cook 6.
Got credit for six espressos.
Is there a fix?

I have read other forums. Seems this problem is game wide. I used 6 gems on the strawberry cake wallpaper because that is what is pictured in the challenge but that did not work either. I hope they fix it quickly.
