How does the cabbage hut work?

in the Barons Game Tent I had 3 Rotten Cabbage in stock, after this i collected my Cabbage Hut and from there I fell 1 Rotten Cabbage, but it is not available anywhere. I'd like to know where the Rotten Cabbage every day goes, falling from Cabbage Hut, thank :) ...
