You have to go into advanced mode (tap Go Advanced) to edit them. Scroll down & tap 'Manage Attachments'. There you should see them all. Then you just tick them off but really, your previous pics should only load once.

Or...you can go into Settings (at the very top⬆️), tap attachments & work with them there.

I got a paper peacock from the chest. It's very pretty, 12 hr timer. I wonder if it's the same Prudence the peacock that's mentioned because mine just says "paper peacock".

TIPS for event:
- you'll need fangbeasts. Don't need to go knocking on farmhouses like I did. They spawn from the paper stacks and while the spawn rate is not so great you need to chop them anyway
- paper tigers spawn from tending cows. Not sure if you need to get to the right part to spawn them or you can do that ahead of time. It's super cute and you can craft one as a pet with 40 paper shreds (defeating 40 tigers)
- I collected from my hatcheries before I got to the goal and got pigeons

In these events I am always able to defeat enough of the monster needed from paper stack type materials without having to find them elsewhere. I also spawn an event specific monster and don't defeat it when I'm collecting from things other than the paper stack.

I agree. Several events back, I completely stopped buying sale pkgs for events because I wasted actual money to end up with some stupid walker or an item that only drops stuff I am maxed on all of the time. So now, if I don't know specifically what I am getting, no money from me. Seems counterproductive. Wouldn't you want to entice people to spend money on your game? It's like a week long activity to do an Elvin trade. Don't do those anymore either because they got so frustrating.

Yes you can craft 2. The craft disappears immediately after you collect the first tiger so if you start the 2nd before collecting you can make 2. I collected and placed 2 tigers on my board without any problem.

seems like the paper tiger has similar drops as baby flyger. an earth wisp basic wisp lantern would complete the set.

BTW still having difficulty w chests. I didn't get a single one from today despite sending out requesrs to all neighbours. troubleshooting efforts include:
- resending, but didn't get confirmation.
- resending to all again, again no confirmation
- sending to a about 20 at a time (did get confirmation - yay!!) until all 200 ish neighbours sent requests
- still nothin'

You would probably benefit from inviting some new, active neighbors. In my experience, even without taking a break from the game, occasionally I need to add new neighbors to counterbalance the neighbors I already have that are no longer actively playing (wouldn?t it be nice if there was an easy way to determine if a neighbor is still actively playing?!? :))

during the last event where we had to request from neighbors, most of us posted here that we could add each other. i'm one of those, i don't visit daily. but i answer all requests & check my game frequently (i don't sleep much & usually wake around 2am & the game is one of the few things i can do that doesn't disturb my husband). during the last event like this, i think i ended up with over 20 new neighbors from the forum alone.

That's great! I have the max of 4 & usually always get a gold item once a week. I like them anyway for the eggs & are prettier than chickens!

My drops have seemed somewhat skimpier than usual too, but keep in mind it is still fairly early in the event. If we all finish our post offices in the first three days, S8 won?t have anyone left to play the event. Use the extra time to collect ahead on other items (and if you get far enough ahead, work on all those goals we never get a break to catch up on).

I'm doing as many adventures as I can but I've already missed one collection from Ivy's. The 12 hr timer is really bad for me. I've already collected all the materials I need so I'm just waiting on her now which is excruciatingly slow.

Also I believe the post office will drop valuable items and it's a low energy event so I recommend that everyone try to finish it.

Yes you can craft 2. The craft disappears immediately after you collect the first tiger so if you start the 2nd before collecting you can make 2. I collected and placed 2 tigers on my board without any problem.

Ivy is the bottleneck for straw but this can be helped by sending adventures as they yield straw too (I just wish golden eggs were needed instead of the nuggets).

My return to the game after two years of break. I feel my queen com is little rusty. ;)

For lower level players, step 8 is to get 2 letters, 2 packages, 2 courier pigeons and 4 paper shreds. Then have post office level 5. To upgrade, you actually need 4 of each item. I'm now waiting on the ivy's hut bottleneck to continue.

I have been pretty lucky on the adventures and bring back straw about 50% of the time. Now hopefully posting this won't change my luck!

Or check post 1, which have all 6 daily goals.

If you run out of time for a daily task, click on Expire (or whatever it says) to remove it, then you will get the new daily task

Yes, makes sense! I guess I was expecting to see the first number accumulate before I was able to give...like 2/5, 3/5...showing how many I had. Glad I figured it out though so I can get my chests 😀

I also had an issue of getting my correspondence today. I immediately got my first chest, requested correspondence for my 2nd chest and got it, and when I went to neighbors to request correspondence for 3rd chest the goal disappeared, so I can't make anymore requests. So I just got 2 chests today from requests.
I'll keep an eye on my goal book to see if the 3rd request comes up, but I doubt it will.
Another unrelated issue is that the gem traps are very easy to get into. Or at least seem a lot easier than before. I've hit 2 gem traps in the last 2 days.

Update- I just received my 3rd chest. I guess it's a good idea to close your game and then reopen to get back on track.

That magic ink says it needs 10 glimmerdust, 5 mermaid scales and 10 water. It also says it's for the storylines. I really don't think it goes with this event, but we'll see.

Hmm this ink is used to unlock the Tablet of Tabernum, wonder why it's included in the package. We don't need it for the event. The requirement to upgrade to level 6 is 8 of each thing as usual.

I have a feeling they meant to include the letter glue instead. Another bizarre bug.

I quit playing about a year a go because of boreness of the same quest all the time. I mean recycle old quest with new story and new name but in the end, same old. So after I quit, I want to come back a few times, including now.

Do you have Azura (mermaid from the Tidegate quest)? She often drops mermaid scales and the collection time is just 1 hour. Also Mermaid Pond drops mermaid scales, but the collection time is 5 hours.

Well it's nice we can spend some of our energy on non-event items, I really dislike the events where Every. Single. Energy HAS to be used on the event. I think it's the S8 compromise from people complaining there is never a break in between events. And those who started late, or miss some Ivy collections, can have a real life & still get the event item :cool:
I know I took a 2 month break after a few months of excruciating, had-to-play-constantly-to finish-event months. So I for one am enjoying not having to be glued to my device! Especially since warm weater is coming, I want to go outside & play!

I am glad to have time/energy for the rest of my kingdom. I need 4 ivy collections (so 12 total for level 6). My plan is to get the wax I need, while those items are cooking, I'll probably spend 20 energy every login on paper stacks and 20 plus any extra on my kingdom. I've still got a ton of expanding to do, finish the mermaid quests and wait for the next monster hunt to fight forest wisps again ;)

By spending disproportionately on whacking stacks, I got enough quills to go on a few adventures, got one or two of the ivy's hut straw, and presto, all caught up. Folks, if you are close to done it's because you are a low level player with reduced requirements. It has been a pet peeve of higher-level (45+) players to visit a low kingdom and see that you have already got the final goodies, because a high level needs like 150% as many of everything, so it takes much longer.

Remember, any event is metered out by a bottleneck (in this case Ivy) to take up the allotted two weeks. If everyone finished on Day 5, we'd all get bored. Rejoice that you won't need another week to finish!

I managed to upgrade to L3 this morning, so now am waiting on straw like you and everybody else. : ) It is just the structure of theze events. I MUCH prefer these waiting ones to uncertain troll camp bottlenecks - even dedicated, frequent players sometimes can't finish those due to randomly below average drops.

We will get this one.: ) I already expanded near my other town buildings to make room for the final L6 building : )

edit PS: I honestly would prefer shorter events, definitely a full week if not longer time between events. There are those expansions to focus on, plus storyline andquests, the unofficial goals, plus leaving my kitchen empty as my feast supplies dwindle (ok, below 90 is still above 80, but still). Everyone has board deco and supply preferences (eccentricities) that we also very much enjoy. Too many events compete, but the quality problem is that the events give great prizes, darnit! I was so willing to sit this out, all happy to chug along and cheer everyone else, and what do they do? Offer a trade ticket and expansion permit prize. Sigh. Quality problem. I just wish Ivy was on a 10 hour timer. That way you weren't forced to miss a couple of collections because your schedule changes (ie: sleeping later on non-work days).

I am having a strange problem and wondering if anyone can help me here. I use iPad mini and upgraded to the newest version.

I have 2 kingdoms (kingdom A and kingdom B). So I get up this morning and logged into kingdom A and did my usually morning round. Then I switched the account to do the same in kingdom B. However, I can't logged into the kingdom B. It says I need internet connections. I don't have any problem logging into any other things in my iPad mini. I can still log into kingdom A.

The same thing happened yesterday too, except I logged into kingdom B first and everything was fine and switched accounts and could not get into kingdom A. After several hours, I was able to get into kingdom A.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Just tonight, I finally got packing straw from the quest. Like you, I was getting frustrated. But I figured I'd send it out. With two peacocks and a golden mine, I have a decent number of gold nuggets. I was pretty excited for that one tiny drop. I'm behind a couple of collections on Ivy. Ten to go but I think I'll make it even figuring in the timing issues with sleep, work, etc.

Also like this event, I think it's doable even with some skipping Ivy's collections. Also glad that it's Ivy, not that Troll building with no guaranteed drops.

to me, if there is going to be some collection that is a bottleneck-that's fine. i understand the reasoning & you have the chance to get stuff by going on the adventures (which i did). but if there is a collection like Ivy or the Troll bulding that has a long timer, then it needs to be a guarantee drop. i understand that every chop of a paper stack is not going to give me a wax seal, but i can purchase as many as i want & chop them with as much energy as i have. (which of course as usual i bought a coulple extra b/c i wasnt sure & i got some stuff in an adventure & now am stuck w/ 2 full paper stacks & 1 partial to get rid of next WW)
i am honestly not collecting from the post office. the coin drop is not worth it to me when i am barely starting part 2 of sabina, still early on in glimmergate, & i'm going to have to start part 3 of the hidden forest today

Ugh if I knew the paper tiger would be as huge as the Meadow Wolf, I probably would have passed. I hate to waste precious space next to it, or move animals placed next to it, to see what I have. Slightly bummed. Definately only going for the 1 not 2.

Re: some peeps no longer collecting from Post Office---we might not get the energy Community Prizes if people don't collect. I know the last event, it was down to the wire. And although I saw a post last event stating " we always get all the community prizes", well, there have been times in Dragon Story the final Community Prize wasn't issued. So it's not a guarantee. And with all the people missing the event due to login issues, I am not sure the Community Prize final is a guarantee.

And just because you Get the walker, you dont have to place in your kingdom. Although with the massive inventory issues many are having, I can see the point of Not adding another useless storage waster:p I've only been playing This game a year, and already have 200+ inventory pages plus over half of my walkers in storage. Until S8 lets us sell off stuff it may be best to limit useless items. And if those tabs in our inventory actually worked.....too bad we cant manually put stuff there. Would take all the leftover bits of event items & plop them in "Special" so I would never have to sort them again. Plus it would be great to drag my Food items into the Consumable tab. And it would be sooo nice to move the buildings currently residing in Decorations into Buildings ah hahahaha

Note to self: once you start making materials for the last level, only buy a couple of the rock type items at a time. I am now only buying 1 paperstack at a time because I need 31 wax. That way I will end up with a few extra wax but no paper stacks.

Edit: just chopped my last paperstack and was lucky enough to get the final 8 that I needed. (Now only 5 more Ivy collections to go).

I still have seven packages to make. Everything else is made except packages. I've been sitting around twiddling my thumbs this entire event waiting on Ivy. I have yet to get even one straw from adventures. I haven't received anything from the chests worthwhile either. I've only received the flowers, pigeon roosts and writing desks. Sigh.

I am, however, grateful that I have time to do other things. I'm working on the Goddess Tree/ Fairy/Plume Hive goals (or whatever it's properly called). Since I've made everything else for the paper goal and am just patiently waiting on Ivy, one of my workshops is now busy crafting the 4 hour Faerie Offering. :)

The straw are 20 gems each, 60 gems for an item that drops trade tickets and occassional permits. Is it worth it? Impossible to tell from here, but whatever it will sell for, it will be more than 60 gems. REALLY hard call.

When you take the randomness of S8 into account? It probably has a CHANCE of dropping said items and so far when there is a chance the drops are quite rare usually. Those golden pots from the St. Patricksday event are somewhat of a dissapointment, they do drop quite some money, but gold items drop only occasionally (not every day, may be once a week and then mostly apples which gives a black flag). So, not a hard call for me, I'll keep my gems.

I have five straw collections to go. The rest are done. I stopped sending out adventures because I wasn?t getting any straw and my gold nuggets are too precious. It was also a pain there for a while trying to get the inky quills. I don?t even care about the bottleneck at Ivy?s place, I?m just happy I have breathing space in this event. I?d much rather deal with a bottleneck, especially a guaranteed drop bottleneck, than have to be glued to my game in order to even come closer to finishing. I like that I can still work on other goals while keeping up with this event.

I didn?t get any blue paper peacock from my chests so I guess I won?t be getting that small goal afterwards. I got two pigeon roosts, a desk and one of each colored paper flowers.

But remember these responses are to people who have said they don't want things left on their board, so for them this is very good advice. I only buy one as I need one, but then that is my whole approach. I do what I need to get to the next level. I don't try and prepare ahead. That way an event like this plays out evenly for me over the 2 weeks, which means I can more easily balance my whole game play.

And S8 have sometimes (often?) reduced the usefulness of event parts in the future if you then get them out of storage (eg wood drops). So I generally only do this for things that look nice and that I will use as decorations.

And in this case, paper stacks neither drop anything other than event parts or look good. Maybe the only thing they might be good for is fangbeats given how many they spawn - but that could easily change too :)

You needed to craft them at the same time, or at least start crafting the second one before you collected the first one from the workshop. The paper tiger craft disappears once you've collected it from the workshop =(

My thoughts on this event:

1. This seems to be the first event building that still looks like a work in progress at level 5.

2. Overall the event is well paced.
The Wizard Schools, daily energy items and Daily Alicorns I own have made this a low stress event for me.
For those without daily energy givers: I have NOT purchased any of mine with gems. They have been event rewards or made during my game play. Have patience and pay attention to items that reward energy. Even the items that give 2-4 energy a day add up and surprise you with 10, 20, 50 or 100.

3. I would prefer that if the chickens drop an item then the stables should drop an item, not the hatcheries. Now that I am only waiting on Ivy, I have no egg source without collecting un-needed event items. A side goal of mine is to try to not have any extra event items once completed.

4. Miles is not an incentive for me. I'd prefer he be a stationary person like the elves and faeries and even just drop a decent amount of coins.

5. The same event formula, while monotonous, did help me plan how to complete it knowing there were a number of days I couldn't play often.

6. I no longer feel the pressure to accumulate all the materials as soon as possible (thanks Shibuya for the numbers) and take it one level at a time. This may be due to my extra energy I get every day. So, again, complete events that reward energy givers, make energy animals when you can.

7. Ivy with a 10 hour timer would be helpful. It would give players the ability to sync Ivy to changing schedules rather than miss collections due to being unable to log in exactly every 12 hours.
