There are now 8 possible outcomes and of course the dreaded 26-hour Pegasus and 27-hour Elder dragons are looming out there. You may encounter two other 4-hour dragons as well, the Confectionary and Wiselord.

Took two tries breeding Neo Forest with Neo White to get this one. The first failure was a 13-hour Lorekeeper Dragon.

Just got a 4 hour timer using forest and light...keeping fingers crossed that i got it first shot. Are there any other 4 hours with this combo? I can't remember what we used for spellspine.

Oh goody! Green & white again, second favorite to pink & white combos for commons.
Grumpy because my first is the lovely 26hr Pegasus brought to me by Albino Peacock & Lorekeeper. Break out the bingo boost...
Happy that tournament is starting today & will be much better timed for Tales battles.

Fourth attempt: Light + Forest = 8hrs
Fifth attempt: Light + Forest = 27hrs AMAZING. THANKS AGAIN
Sixth attempt: Light + Forest = 8hrs
Seventh attempt: Light + Forest = 8hrs
Eight attempt: Light + Forest = 4hrs

Finally got it!! The 27 hour fails were so painful. I really do not understand why they can't implement the same functions for crafting the so-called 'Common' dragon, as they have for LB and WE...

Fail after fail and then just got elder and pegasus off the nest. Had a run of 4 hour fails with fuzzy fails. This is pretty frustrating after buying the extra breeding nest. Looking like all my extra food will go to leveling up my ultras instead of this event. Can’t win em all.

I just did my second attempt Forest and Light, and a 4 hr time. Waiting fingers crossed. I got it after two tries this is almost a miracle. It is hatching right now on the nest. So happy

Maybe I misunderstood, but those two dragons have a total of 11 possible outcomes when bred. I would love to be in your shoes. Just bred forest & light with 13 hour timer. Pegasus 1 has 10 plus hours on a nest and Pegasus 2 has the entire 26. I tell myself I don't need the dragon until day 6 but these long fails are aweful.
So we keep trying, good luck!

Yep. Tried this combo thinking oh awesome, only 3 outcomes all 4 hours. Gave me 27hrs. Again. -__-;;;;;;;;

I love the huge green eyes. I'm a bit confused by the description, though. It sounds like a parasite. And when it's grown up is it the dragon on the other dragon's back, or is the whole thing the Greensight dragon?

Yes I am having just as much fun,I am about all fun'd ( new word )out. I am stuck in the tournament can't get pass a certain dragon and here I cannot breed the common., just to make it even more fun I am getting the longer breed times. I may get to save up some food if the common doesn't show up.
Have you had any luck yet? I got a 4hr timer but wrong dragon and now another 8hr. We have to breed with Mist soon & that will take up nest time. I love the idea of saving food but am worried I won't get enough Bday crowns if I don't finish Tales. The second Tales dragon is red/royal, same elements as the one we just crafted.

No, no luck yet. I've bred all the dragons of the green white combo ,the 26 hrs 27 hrs 13 hrs 8 hrs and a couple 4 hrs ( confectionery) this one is really evading me. Maybe it's an April fools trick .lol
As for the battle I finished up using an ultimate as my frustration level was soaring. April isn't looking good for me in the land of DS.
Hope our luck turns around soon

I'm sorry! I'm mostly getting long timers on my old account, too. I think I might not even worry about completing the event on that account. Finally got it on my newer account using commons. Glad I got it before I got the 44 hour timer I got from breeding with a Mist dragon. 😊

It's really bad with our entire month of game play affected. I got another 8 hour fail and am debating if I should breed Mist when it's done or try again. I've had long breeding times with Mist and haven't found a good dragon to use that's preferable. My patience is about at it's breaking point. I sell my Elders right off the nest bc of the time.

Yahh!! Finally bred it just in the Nik of time. I was happy to read that you had bred it so I thought one more try before bed and woke up this morn to find that S8 had waved it's magic wand and the 4 hrs was the needed egg and not the confectionery egg. That sure was torment with those long fails.

I was about to give up as I was falling behind but did one last attempt with Forest and Light and got a 4 hour timer. I had sped those 4 hour timers but let this one time out and it was finally got Greensight. I guess I can finish this afterall. Had Elder, Pegasus, Confectionary, and Fuzzy galore. Only one stone fail. Guess I can actually do this. Was not optimistic but thought I could give it a try before quitting the event. At least I have enough food for this so my other hungry dragons wanting food will now have to wait. Good luck to others this trying for this hard to get common.

Glad you didn't give up and got it in time to finish Tales. Those long fails are torturous. This also makes a huge difference in qualifying for the monthly dragon that looks like a good one with nice elements. Congratulations😊

Hope your next post says you've got that allusive common hatched. I felt like I was getting horrible long fails from "fancy" breeding combos & stuck to Light & Forest as well. You are well due to succeed, best of luck.

In the 8th chapter, is anyone having trouble getting the Greensight Dragon to come up to breed with the Sunsnake Dragon? I have him evolved to level 9.

I've used 50gold to skip the breeding Greensight act coz I've gotten a Pegasus and another Stone after that. Finally I switched to Angel & Quetzal and got it first try! Thanks guys for the encouragements to persevere.

have to give up again after 12 tries never got Greensight so I'm not going to finish this tale. This is always the hardest part, getting a specific common dragon that doesn't want to be, maybe next time

Quit this quest...three days and using breeding boosts.....worst thing about not getting common one,Greensight. I got nothing new, all I already had. Too far behind to finish.
I even hoped the angel and forest would give me..Quetzal...haha on me.

Finally got it with Earth and Light. Used gold to skip the step to hatch it but kept trysting so I won’t have to skip past the other steps where it’s needed.

I won't finish the goals either. Been trying for Greensight for three days with various combos. Finally tried Jester and Light and got it. If you don't have Jester, try Royal and Light. Yes there are possible 14 combos for that and one fail is 24-hr. Sunrise, but at least not 27-hrs!
