There is a camera icon in the upper right of your screen, you can use that to take a photo or you can use your device and take a screen shot of the entire screen.

As stated, I've recently updated my iPhone to version 1.8.3 and no longer have the camera icon and others have shared their icons are gone as well. My iPad is still on 1.8.2 and the icon is still there so it's only this most recent version.

Is this a bug or are they thinking of removing the in-game camera altogether?

I see what you mean, I checked and my in-game camera icon is missing also but only on the updated 1.8.3. version. If you want to take a photo it seems like you'll have to take a screen shot using your device until this matter is resolved.

Same here！The camera icon is gone after i updated to the newest version on my ipad ：（

Please return the camera icon to the game. I use it when I leave the game open so that I don’t click on any of the other icons by mistake.
