Leaderboard boost sale

I have for several leaderboard events now gotten a pop-up that there a 50% off on boosts for the leaderboard event. But when I go into boost page in the leaderboard, there is no sale. Same price as always. Anyone else experience that ?

Yes, I saw the same pop-up on at least two separate days during this leaderboard and at least once during the last event. You almost think you have not seen it as it is so fast and there is no evidence of a sale anywhere else. It was definitely an image identical to the boosts on the leaderboard event and not similar to the more rounded bingo boosts. Also bingo was not active at the time.

I was about to use the leaderboard boost, so I thought I would see what happened. In terms of gold, it was not 50% off nor did it provide 50% extra time.
