* Help! I can't see the upgrade button? If you do not see the upgrade button, click somewhere else on the board and then click back on the item. The buttons should return. Force close if still not showing.
* Help! The Heart drops aren't going into my inventory! There is a counter on the top right of screen and all Heart drops go there. They do not go into inventory.

* To get the first individual prize, you need to collect 15 Hearts.
* When you reach 15, the next individual prize opens up for you and will show you how many Hearts you will need for the next individual prize.
* Once you reach 400 Hearts, you are eligible for any and all of the prizes that are earned by the community (shown on the second row).
* The total number of Hearts is updated on the counter as soon as they drop, not when they are collected.
* Be mindful that upgrading resets the timer back to 2 hours.

Regular skunkupines spawn from the rose bushes quite well. The pinkskunks spawn from cows (random) after that goal is reached

I always have a field of Fellora plants ready for harvest at the start of every event in case we need Skunkupines.
I get a better rate of spawning from them then anywhere else.

HOWEVER. Although from now on I won't / can't assume previous patterns, I am not happy w wasted resources. I am still grumoy. I will get over it, and have four carriage drapes extra as souvenirs.

You will need them later on. In the goals section, the next step is 2 of each of the crafts needed to upgrade the carriage.

This must be the 3rd maybe 4th wedding themed event, the 2nd in the last few months not exactly original! The chest prizes are really pretty but I think it would be better if we could all have a chance to earn them as event goals rather than it being just random. I love decorating my kingdom & these will be displayed rather than banished to storage like some of the ugly decs from previous events but a useful collection would be more helpful than more decs plus there?s the space issue 😕

My level 5 carriage doesn't even have windows so I'm wondering what I'm crafting all these curtains for! I just rotated it & saw the right side does have a very tiny blue heart window. For level 40 player, To Level wee carriage up to 5, the upgrade only needs 1 carriage drapes,1 wedding saddle, 2 chocolates (10 count pink skunkupine from cows) and 1 carriage wheel.

Totally agree about the missing logic re materials and story line. In the last event we made red yarn out of wool and (wait for it)... iron ore. Not red dye. (?). This time around curtains are made from...chickens. 🤔

I like your theories! The couple will need to set up housekeeping even if you cannot see it. So much nicer to come up with reasons for the repetitive items than commenters grousing. :-)

The suggestions for other things to make (windows, seats) are pretty cool, altho maybe the variety would be hard on lower-level players who don't read the forum and know what is coming up next. idk.

I'm not tired of weddings and the stuff is cute. Thinking the horse will kind of match my Spring Steed. Chests are only dropping hearts so far. No sunset strip for me!

I agree with all of the above! Why so many curtains and saddles? The extra wheels, I guess, are spares, but how hard are they going to be on this carriage?

I also hate that the community prizes have been reduced to crowns (currently have 4K + :rolleyes: ) and a couple of ‘free’ chests. The little minister, flower girl etc would be excellent as either individual or community prizes. The random aspect is annoying and never welcome for most players. For example, when the chests drop walkers or deco, I always seem to get that. But when the prize is a pet or deco with drops, I never get those. I got the church the first day, but without any drops, it will be in storage as soon as the event ends. Real estate is too precious.

However, the one bright note I’d like to mention is that at least S8 finally has us collecting from both chickens and cows/stables in the same event. It makes it super easy to crank out milk and dairy trades without burning extra energy. So kudos for that!

The first wedding did give us the Wedding Alicorn (not to mention the fiasco involved) It drops from 4-100 energy. I don?t remember all the details but maybe lots of curtains and wheels. Horn and hoof polish, maybe brushes. I?m sure all the details are in the Hub.

Even though much of this event is cut and paste actions from previous events, the artwork is great. And thank you for using Ivy with her guaranteed 12 hr. drop instead of the random and sometimes rare drop from the Troll Camp. A wedding is a good intoduction into whatever Valentine event is planned.

It was at 85 hearts and I’m pretty sure it was the 80 crowns. Crowns are sort of ho hum since I’m already above the maximum of walkers allowed, I’d have to put 6 or 7 walkers away to be able to buy one.

...... I am only setting our one full r'bush at a time to 'prune' - the rest are sitting with only one whack to go as decorations on L in LOVE. I really wish we could use them as straightforward decorations and be able to put them back to change a theme. The rosebushes are really pretty and I would love to spell the whole word out with them for spring. : )

You can store some for later if you wish. Just purchase them and after placing them, immediately put them in storage. Do not chop them or leave the game before storing! Then you can place them and re-store them whenever you’d like as long as they remain unchopped.

Indeed I did, but on the bright side; at least I can use a few of the chocolates for upgrades so it's not a total waste. While I agree that the limit of 1 is silly at least this time it's an obvious limit so everyone didn't waste their energy for something they can never place.

I did mention in the Suggestion Thread that these limits on event 'pets' is maybe not the best choice for them. Who has ever thanked them for this limit? Why do they think continue to think it's a good idea?

I like this event because of collecting from a variety of sources that are needed for trades in the royal exchange -- cows, chickens, mushrooms. It feels good to be able to continue advancing in the in game while spending so much energy on an event. Thank you s8! :-)

Also with so many red petals dropping from rose bushes i am using them to make fairy elixir, I do wish it didn't required 20 water to make fairy elixir because technically it is rather stupid to spend 20 energy collecting water just to get 20 energy back. Really dumb! However thinking back to the last monster hunt when it was down to the wire and I desperately needed energy, at that time it was worth it. So for now I am making ingredients so that if I am ever desperate again for energy and have the water stocked up, well I guess that works out in that instance.

This event is much more positive experience for me, I am also happy to say my drops from previous events have improved! Good thing, maybe s8 decided to be a little nicer instead of that awful strategy of continually disappointing dedicated (cash spending) players. The game is difficult and time consuming, they won't ruin the economy by actually giving the rewards, but they were certainly ruining it by making things unattainable! Just my two cents.

Now if only I can get some good thing from opening these gifts :-)

I have to say, thank you. S8 did a good job on this one. The carriage is 2x 1, so much easier to place. Looks well already at level 5, not like some blobs I have in the cellar. The requirements are not too crazy so far, same for level 6 as for level 5, and I think I read some of the higher levels behave likewise. The rose bushes are adorable. The chests are adorable and everything they drop is adorable as well. It can now only get even better with the horse's and the last individual prize's drops being helpful. Speaking of which, this one is not out of reach. But even if the drops disappoint, these look adorable. So yeah, good job S8, I am inspired and will be buying whatever need be. You've got my business this time. :) Keep it up.

I find it beyond hilarious that of the 3 Wee Fairies, the Flower Girl is the only one who doesn't drop petals for me, lol. The Minister and the Ring Bearer have given me the 1100 coins and Petals/Glimmerdust each collection but the Flower Girl is only dropping coins, no black flags or anything. Perhaps she doesn't know what her job entails?

I’m enjoying this event even though it is very similar to previous events. I never seem to get the decos from the wee boxes (or treasure chests in the past). Only once have I received something that dropped anything and that was several events ago. Wish the random drops were spread across more people. Seems as if the same people get these drops and others like me only get the hearts or whatever is needed for the community prizes.

I’ve gone on the adventure for wedding supplies 3 times and still haven’t received the wheel. Usually the second adventure provides the rare item and then I get one every other time. Disappointed in the adventure this time as everything brought back is easily obtainable. I’ll try again though. Ever optimistic.

The baron is absolutely correct, the carraiga is fine. "I" (my ruler) even said a wedding needs so much more, even mentions stuff besides carraige stuff. S8 has the story written for crafting food stuff, party favors,etc, but nope, can't do it.

That is odd, I have been doing this for quite some time, (purchase and store immediately), after reading it in a tip here on the forum, and it has always worked. I checked my stored ones after reading your post and I can place them and store them without any trouble. I even left the game and went back and was still able to store them. I play on an iOS device, not sure if that makes a difference.
I would try support, but I?m not sure if it will help, since I?m not sure if they intend for us to store these type of things. I?ve always suspected it may be a glitch. Good luck though! I hope you can get it to work.

You get the horse as a prize when you complete all the goals by upgrading the Wee Carriage to Lv. 10.

After finishing the upgrades (if you keep collecting the Hearts that drop from the Wee Carriage) you will get the Bride & Groom once you've collected 900 Hearts. Then you can keep collecting to add to the Community points for the Community Prizes which are the energy crates.

Important to check for other monsters on your board. I usually have the sound turned off, but I set the music to play to see if I missed a spawned beastie hiding anywhere. The rose bushes gave decent spawn rates; really weird to go two days with no s'pine and no explanation!!!

I'm not finishing event either, for different reasons. We can probably get enough hearts from the wee chests and an L4 or L5 carriage, and the prizes from the chests seem way better than the carriage and its drops (although the carriage is REALLY PRETTY, the drops may be perfect for many players, and there is a lot of satisfaction from finishing for its own sake). It was a hard decision, and that is a sign that this is a great game. Spoiled for choice!!

I hope you get to the bottom of the Skunkupine Disappearance Mystery and have time to finish. : ) Depending on energy resources, you might well have time to finish!! : )

I have the same issue. Had been able to store and take out to decorate event items, then restore at will, until the Xmas sacks. Now also does not work with the pink rose bushes.
Would really like to be able to keep some for future decoration.
I wonder if not being able to store is a glitch and not the new norm.

i'm on an iOS device and just bought a rose bush, stored it, put it back on my board and force closed the game. I was able to store it again and take it back out. Still have the ability too. So something seems to be wrong somewhere for you. I hope it can be resolved.

I’ve just got one, put it in storage and taken it out again twice, but haven’t clicked on it at all. I suspect if you just click to check it, even without clicking again to chop, the it won’t allow you to store it.

In the past I have been able to store items from events but when I placed them back on my board, I could not store them any longer. A couple of days ago, after reading a few posts about storing the rosebushes, I purchased three rosebushes and I was able to store them. However, when I placed them back on my board and immediately tried to re-store them, I could not. After reading this post, I placed a stored rosebush on my board and immediately force closed the game and it let me store the rosebush again when I reopened the game. So, it appears that if you place a stored rosebush on your board, you need to immediately force close the game in order to be able to store it again in the future.

As stated in my earlier reply to a post, I did a little research with the rosebushes. When you purchase a rosebush, store it immediately. When you place the rosebush back on your board, do not click on it again until after you have closed the game. When you reopen the game, you should be able to store it again. I am on an iOS.

But I have a gripe S8:
I've been playing CS for over 6 years, loved and enjoyed it. But, the last couple years I've had to keep telling myself "hang in there girl" each time I START to get excited about a new event, only to discover (about 48hrs into it) that the '20 chops' at a rose bush produces a mere 4 petals...that the 'Wee chest' I ask 250 neighbors for every day ONLY gives me 'pink hearts', never a cute decoration (the ring bearer coulda helped me WoRk on it all) and oooooweeee, I have a whopping 24 boxes of chocolates...and THATS after feeding my cows at least 1000 times. Soooo, now they are fat, they're on strike, won't eat and have threatened to jump fence to my neighbors if i EVEN try to feed 'em again in my search for another Cupid Skunkupine!
And lastly__The "Great prize" that we've been working so hard for- The Wee Wedding Pony- after 3 drops, it is the SAME as a REGULAR HORSE :(

I've been here just about as long & I wonder, too, each time a new quest starts, why am I still doing this?

Thanks for the laugh about the 2-ton carriage 🤣. Seems to be the only way to get any enjoyment anymore is to read the forum. S8 has lost their way with the 4 or 5 templates they're using now. A tweak here & there to fit the theme can't be that hard!
This carriage needed upgraded seats, a beautiful stained glass window or 2, maybe a nice bar inside (akin to a limo). I'm sure other players could come up with many other great options for the wee carriage..lol

And, yes, that horse is a complete let down! If the carriage already came with horses, why do we need another completely out of proportion?🤔

Yep. I am a long time player too. I managed to get my carriage to level 7 today, and came here to see what else I need to get in order to get it to 10. After all, it wasn't that hard to get to level 7, so I should be able to do it! WRONG. There is no way. And I am not revolving my life around chopping little pink bushes on a little phone game. I’m one wheel short from upgrading to level 9. Almost done with curtains and saddles. So far one wheel from 4 adventures, #5 is out. Since I’ll have to keep chopping rose bushes, I do the adventure when I have the necessary stuff. Like so many of the events, I love the artwork. I just wish the little faerie people were community or individual prizes (don’t need crowns) instead of random drops from the chests. I have 2 chapels, 2 sets of heart paths, and the villa.

Otherwise, I agree that the end prizes hardly seem worth the effort. If anyone has the wedding couple, what do they drop? I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the little doll couple.

The images of villa and final upgrade of the wee carriage have been fixed. A reinstall may be necessary to see the updated items.

Well the Faery Bride and Groom shows that they have a "chance" to drop energy and .... petals. So even if you aren't going to get the carriage to L 10 you probably can still get them by opening chests and collecting from the carriage consistently. Plus the energy crates.

But the horse is a horse of course. (Of course).

I've been playing at least 6 years too. Finally able to do more expansions due to some animals which give trade tickets so have been doing that. Still have the mermaid quest to complete. My kingdom is a disaster right now as I keep putting things out for events.

I am at Level 8 and only need 4 old wheels to reach Level 9. I may stop there.

i didn't read all 23 pages of this. but i'm about to upgrade to level 10. i had a feeling after the last frozen event that i would need lots of roses. so i was constantly chopping those. and basically didn't really collect from the non-necessary things (although there are plenty of buildings and things i don't collect from regularly). but i have only gotten a bunch of heart paths, the villa, and the chapel. no little fairies. which is what i would like.
i would like to mention that the rose bushes are not storable (or @ least not while the event is on going). because now that i don't need any more flower blooms, i have a few extra rose bushes. guess i could always use them for decoration.

Since the Faerie Bride and Groom has a 22 hour timer I've only had one collection from them so far but it was 2400 coins, 3 energy and a black flag for Blue Petals. This leads me to believe they will behave more like an Ali than a Dragon in regards to energy since the dragon-type energy droppers only ever give 5 energy at a time but I guess only time will tell.

While the drops are similar to any other pet Skunkupine, I'm happy with it mainly due to the 1,100 coins it drops every 4 hours.

IDK - I have the Cupid pig and Cupid cow from a previous v-day event and they just drop regular pig and cow stuff. I won't be working on the Cupid skunkupine. Not enough energy.

I really don't like the daily chest thing.

1. The good drops are too random. I have 5 buildings that ar3 deco only and the preacher, others have multiples of items with drops, others don't get any drops.
2. It's so tedious sending out requests everyday.
3. It completely messes with daily gifting. Apparently, my entire friend list has received the max number of gifts 2 hours in to the new day every day.

Lesson for me and any others interested - even with a L5 carriage, I should just about make it through to the end of the community-based event. Since the wee chests can give a huge amount of hearts, it is worth the asking. It would be great to have a 'select all' button now that we can ask for more than 20 at a time. I often have to ask only every other day, but that is also due to good neighbour hygiene (I had a clearout recently after reading the neighbour tips - it is a sticky on the forum, Nugget #3 - Neighbors, and obviously answer all requests as reciprocation).

L5 wasn't too onerous to do, L6 is a bit of effort but not much. Final carriage prize ever so cute but it is subjective if it is worth it or not; I have other priorities and need the energy for those things.

I really appreciate that doing the carriage up only just over halfway still enables me to finish with the parallel event. Barely, and I have to collect every two hours, but still possible.

After you give those first 3 to the Baron, go back to the goal & click the next step to send out some more requests. I do this all the time, practically everyday since some of my requests come in over night. I just give those to the Baron & go to the next step of sending requests to about 30-40 neighbors for that day. Each day I send a new batch to those neighbors & have always received my 3 chests. Sometimes I'll even send a request right after I have responded to a neighbors.

Yes! I love the idea of little characters, special animals and buildings from events giving RPs! We've earned alot of them through crazy energy consuming events, seems like they should give a little bonus =)

Recently a poster did not know that if gifts are sent individually (as opposed to all 3 at once), a failure restores that gift to your count. But as an experienced player you probably know that. One of my partners keeps full stocks, so I may have to try six different items until I find one that will go through.

I had high hopes of pairing the carriage with Ivy's Carriage (due to similar shapes) and the Pony with the Spring Clydesdale (for their matching colors) but of course the sizes don't match right.

The Wee Carriage won't line up right with Ivy's when placed side by side and the Wee Wedding Pony is more Donkey-sized than Horse-sized (never mind Clydesdale-sized!) on my board. I think I've found them a decent enough spot but I'm still ticked my original layout plan won't work. What's up with the weird sizing?

Ahhh, but you're forgetting that an item only counts toward the Royal Building total when classified under the "Building" tab in our inventory which these event decos do not! Since they are classified as decos, they could offer RP and not touch our totals - a handy loophole that I love. I'm thinking they could be like the 1x1 Haunted Spires/Watchtowers the Halloween babies drop that are decos and offer 15 RP each.

Gifting to neighbors does not take away from your inventory. What I have noticed when making requests (about 40-50 at a time, if I have any interaction with a neighbor before, visiting or gifting, the number I?ve done is subtracted from my requests if they are included. I?ve also noticed in this event the first set of requests does not always get the ?requests sent? notice. I?ve checked by resending a couple and apparently they did go through. I would suggest not sending to ALL at one time. Keep some in reserve, including Stormie. Use Stormie when you?ve got almost all requests, but still keep a few back. Early in the event I used all including Stormie and something was ?stuck? and I could not get the last two. Force closing did not help. Otherwise the requests have gone smoothly including two days I had enough without having to send any out. And yes, I did have to give each set needed to collect the chest.

Sometimes I think it’s done deliberately....remember the sweetheart fence and kitsunecorn fence? And an even more telling example of something fishy, there are two types of walls that seem exactly the same except one has a red banner and the other has a yellow banner. I thought, great...I have enough of each to make a good sized fenced in area if I alternate the red and yellow. So I put them next to each other and they’re not quite the same height. Now, we know the S8 design department often reuses images, so all they had to do is take the exact same wall and change the red banner to yellow. Why go out of their way to change the height? Just to be difficult I guess.

I am glad I'm not the only one bothered as well.... while I do admit I have a touch of OCD tendencies, I still think it is not too much to ask.
